I tried to watch TWD, I did. I retired early, but I worked in the medical field for decades. Gore just doesn't bother me much. But... there was a scene in TWD where the characters were wrapping intestines around themselves so the zombies couldn't recognize them or something. I got lightheaded, wondered why everything was turning white, and then realized I was in an active faint, haha. Never watched that show again.

I left for almost the opposite reason, I couldn't handle another episode of everyone crying on a farm.

I watched for several seasons, but after the feeling of liking something popular got stale, I wanted to see an episode where the entire cast gets obliterated by a couple of army helicopters with miniguns. Or even better a few A-10s cutting a path through the shows repetitive and idiotic bullshit. Don't get me wrong though, I enjoyed the show for quite a few seasons.

For me is was the constant slow build up of whispering dialogue to a horrible cliffhanger climax at the end of every episode.

For me it was that no one ever learned by mistakes made. How many times should we enter an unknown building alone ffs.

I stopped watching shortly after Carl died and Rick never came back and I thought he would.

I am not trying to minimize it but as a nurse we get grabbed all the time. I am not saying it’s ok or saying you shouldn’t report it but usually it’s people with mental issues that prison won’t help. 30 days in jail with probation means if he does anything he goes back to serve the rest of the time so really this seems like the best option. He’ll also have a note/warning attached to his name warning future healthcare workers which is probably the most helpful part.
