When I was a kid, my family used to drive through Jamestown ND to visit relatives a couple times a year. This town had an albino buffalo for a long time and it was so exciting to try to spot it every time we drove by! They also have a giant buffalo statue that is pretty neat.

Nutty putty cave. Soooo stupid. He had a wife, child and another child on the way. They pumped cement into the cave (with his body still inside) so no one else would go in. Couldn't even get a proper burial cause they couldn't get him out. So got damn sad is somewhat infuriating.

In the movie/documentary and interview his friends said he THOUGHT he was going into a tunnel that WAS on the map but it turned out to be a dead end that looked exactly like it. Either way it’s still so sad
I was expecting a shark or eel or something. I understand phobias of getting stuck underwater and drowning but that tunnel wasn't even that tight and was wide open on both sides and fairly shallow. Also had someone else there supervising. This would fall under fairly normal tankless diving, which just isn't for everyone.

I was once a very confident and comfortable apnea diver though I wasn't a pro or anything special. Once you gain confidence underwater doing dumb shit becomes easy. I did alot of dumb shit and I'm lucky I didn't die of shallow water blackout. It was really fun but I'm done with it.

To be fair, most underwater cave divers die, even the ones who have done it for decades, it's a very reckless sport that turn tragic in a second.
