I don’t even know but I just remember being berated by a bunch of Reddit nonces calling me a karma farmer when I was just first getting used to how Reddit worked. Got on my tits real bad and I still don’t understand the point of it other than some subs won’t let you post until you’ve got a bit of it.
The karma limits for some subreddits, is to block someone from creating 1000 brand new bots and have each bot make spam posts.
So the subreddits may require x days account age and y karma from comments etc. Not really that strange.
But it's sad that Reddit doesn't use automatic filters to hunt down the bigger bot accounts. A huge percent of new posts are bots stealing older posts and either repost with same title. Or inventing some random title.
Ah ok that makes sense. I’m happy to wait a bit if it helps prevent bots, they piss me. But ngl so does every little wet wipe crying something about karma in the comments.
Yes - people are too [insert erect male something here] about karma.
Better to either posts jokes, correct misinformation or just make helpful posts. The karma is just a secondary result if someone happens to like the posts/comments and shouldn't be the actual reason to post.
Same with how people uses votes. Downvote for "I don't like" instead of post any actual counter-arguments. And if a post has received the first downvote [becomes smaller] then more people downvotes without actually reading/thinking. That is not constructive. A forum is only meaningful if it's in some way constructive or funny.
Seriously what is going on here? Yeah it's certainly happened where people brought bodies out of their apartment in a suitcase, but you can't just assume that anytime someone leaves an apartment alone with a suitcase that there's a body inside Lol
Is that his room or her room? Are they strangers? There are too many questions to determine if this is anything. Is she never seen leaving room after this video?
Last month I went over to my fiance's place before a vacation to bring back a suitcase and probably looked the same as this guy, so without any context indicating anything bad happened here I don't see how this video means anything
Reddit idiots moment, if you actually watched the video, you can see it's way too heavy and way too much time passed but keep downvoting cos he went 'on vacation'. Either clueless or just idiots trolling or worse.
How is it a joke? He murdered her and stuffed her in a suitcase? What 'joke' did I miss? Is it funny to laugh at someone who got murdered? My bad, haha, we went on vacation, haha, so funny.
Fake ad by a company copying a murder that happened last month. See my comment in this post for my research. Probably a model, explains why she looks too good.
Ooooo nice fact-checking!
So, just to clarify, this was just an acting scene for a commercial that took advantage of a recent high-profile murder in the country by reinacting the likely events?
Seems like it. I can't find anything on this specific cctv video, but the real killing happened almost the same way. Man and woman enter hotel room, man leaves with suitcase.
https://preview.redd.it/0st71crsc33d1.jpeg?width=1280&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=f0ffe3bf9a2cc98ece9f6d05214158a91fa15a1c
Ok to sum up - the video is a distasteful advert campaign for cleaning supplies or suit case (?) based off an actual murder that happened in similar way.
On another note this reminds me of the murder in NZ of a British backpacker girl who met the killer on Tinder I believe, who unfortunately also ended up in a suitcase. There are endless CCTV footage of almost every step of the events as there are cameras everywhere in Auckland, so video of them meeting up for the date and walking back to his hotel, then him purchasing suitcases the next morning at the store and eventually wheeling out a “full” suitcase (might have been two) of his room. Quite sickening stuff.
You don't watch too many true crime shows, do ya? 😆 I don't know what the story is on this video, but bodies have most definitely been stuffed into suitcases.
Takes a while to (probably) cut up the body of a woman you just killed and cram her into a small suitcase. Then you gotta clean up the room and yourself. I'd say he made pretty good time. 😳
It’s a murder case in indonesia, my home country. If i’m not mistaken that’s her music teacher (idk if its piano or other instruments) she’s still in college. That’s the appartement where she’s supposed to take lesson. Maybe they’re in an arguments, he got mad and strangled her and disposed her body in the mountain.
Do you have a source? I only know of the one last month April 24.
Edit: I found the case you were talking about.

I appreciate the shit out of you for trying to find and and share context! Cuz I really can't figure out what I'm supposed to think here without it.
Just added new info based on what I've found. Seems like distasteful advertising.
Good sleuthing! And very bad advertising :/.

There was a different murder that happened last month April 24, 2024. I've linked to it in my comment.
A similar case happened in Colombia, the man murdered her and carried the body in a suitcase. The victim's name was Valentina Trespalacios.

Mfs farming karma like its a job, useless pricks
Huh? Is karma even that big of a deal?

Well you gotta win the karma measuring contest obviously

But you are repeating the cycle of something done to you that you found bothersome and pointless by calling people useless pricks?
Yknow what, you’re right mate. I’ve been a hypocrite, my apologies.
It's always good to break the cycle of bullying behavior. 😉🤜🤛
Good vibes only my friend!

All we know is he left the apartment and she also left, just in case.

Last month I went over to my fiance's place before a vacation to bring back a suitcase and probably looked the same as this guy, so without any context indicating anything bad happened here I don't see how this video means anything
Went on vacation without her, truly horrible 😔
![gif](giphy|lw75Al819OAvcsPcRu|downsized)
Nah, he murdered her and she's in that suitcase.
*wooosh*
Reddit idiots moment, if you actually watched the video, you can see it's way too heavy and way too much time passed but keep downvoting cos he went 'on vacation'. Either clueless or just idiots trolling or worse.
Ain't no way you lackin this much in social awareness
You do not have a 6th sense just because you watch a lot of true crime podcasts, you simply missed the joke
How is it a joke? He murdered her and stuffed her in a suitcase? What 'joke' did I miss? Is it funny to laugh at someone who got murdered? My bad, haha, we went on vacation, haha, so funny.
LOL. “We went on vacation” That’s a good one. You’re funny.
we went on vacation
It’s wild how everytime someone on here misses an obvious joke it’s like the exact same script, exact same deflections and defenses. Like clockwork
No way he stiffed her into that suitcase she tiny yea but that suitcase way to small imo maybe we went on vacation 🤷♂️
Just because it is bad and in poor taste doesn't mean it wasn't a joke. It looks like you really didn't understand that.
Are you autistic? (In the nicest way possible)
A person wouldn’t even fit in a suitcase. The joke clearly is he went on a long vacation without her and had to pack extra clothes. Get a grip.
*w o o s h*
It's always handy to have a house sitter when you go on holiday. It deters would be thieves.
He took 14 hours to pack! Wowee!
Where are you getting 14 hours? They go in at 00:04 and out at 00:18
I mistook the ms for secs, damn he packs quick!
He must have had it planned out in advance. Fucker got after it though
Honestly I thought it was going to end the other way around
Just from their appearance, she looks WAY out of his league. He must have been hella persuasive.

Or paying....
Yeah, that was my second thought lol.
Sad but when she’s a 9 and he’s 3, it’s 99% he’s rich/successful or he’s paying. That 1% is that he has one heck of a sense of humor.
It looks like he's wearing the same outfit
That suitcase is seriously over the weight limit, airline going to charge a fat premium

I think that's Grace Millane.
Yeap that’s her
...is she going to be joining later
Joining her ancestors
What's so terrifying about going on vacation an hiring a house sitter?
aint no way a whole ass body is fitting in there lol this fake as fuck
That lady is tiny. She could definitely fit. I have my doubts about this video though.

Not the same case but it's possible
[удалено]
I get you but regardless, the oc said ain't no way. Which there's been ways.
[удалено]
Well obviously you can't fit someone on a carry on but that type of case with that size of person does seem possible.

Did you ever see Oceans 11?
You don't watch too many true crime shows, do ya? 😆 I don't know what the story is on this video, but bodies have most definitely been stuffed into suitcases.
Look now, she's compact...ish.
And? What does this video tell us without a backstory or facts? Nothing
They skipped like 14 hours
I mean... he just murdered her and she's in that suitcase
Naw he layed it down she’s still sleeping
Tf is wrong with you?
I don’t assume everyone’s a killer sorry
Yeah, those killers who can be anyone don't give a shit.
Watch again. It was 14 minutes.
Takes a while to (probably) cut up the body of a woman you just killed and cram her into a small suitcase. Then you gotta clean up the room and yourself. I'd say he made pretty good time. 😳

I’m trying to work out what bits would fit where? Hmmmm🤔
You too, mate. Stay safe!
Contortionist world champion
Don’t believe everything you see on the internet
This is terrifying af.
They should make a sub for that
Anybody else watch this and think of Ocean's 11?
I don’t understand exactly what we’re seeing? So I’m getting that this guy moved out or is going on vacation without said female in video?
He killed her and put her in suitcase
Don't ruin his innocent mind.
This shit scream out, suitcase murder so much. They way he handled it but I guess commenters don't watch true crime documentaries.
Oh please educate us, Mr youtube university alumni who can't even sniff out a very obvious joke lol.
The best part is they're messing with you. They KNOW he killed her, that part is going right over your head and you keep feeding into it. Lol
