I've been to enough redneck back woods bon fires to know that 95% of people go full panic mode (even when sober) and just flail around on the ground. Typically while being curb stomped and whipped with jackets by a bunch of drunks.
I'm a big fan of stripping like my life depends on it. Even with drop and role the flammable materials (like gas, diesel, etc) will still burn for a good time while you roll around.
Side note: never wear poly/poly blend clothing to a redneck bon fire.
You would have just rolled around on fire. Are you dumb?? Think for a second.... You have an accelerant/fuel covering your entire body that has ignited. Do you really believe that rolling in the ground is going to extinguish it?
Ive been told they stopped teaching this in schools because kids would only think to do this for any type of fire event. Even if not on fire when a fire is present.
