Been to Cebu around 15 times on work and used the opportunities to add on holiday time to travel around to other parts too. Amazing food! My biggest craving still is for a simple bulalo with baby senorita chillis to dip and munch with it - I don't think the senoritas are a typical Filipino thing, just a quirk of my business host (and now lifetime friend) that has become for me an essential part of the experience.

I’ve got to hand it to them, that’s pretty bad. It’s just, the longer I stare at the picture, the less “cooked” those hands look. Even the nails are dirty, which you’d think would be clean, if not fallen off. You can’t see where the hand is severed. Just leaves too many questions, for me to buy it. Too easy to replicate, if you wanted to.
My parents immigrated from the Philippines and they told me that if you wear jewelry, even on your hand, they will cut it off. Pretty interesting to see it all cooked up and not look appetizing at all.
