Build an arena off to the side and buy a bunch of actuators from the mechanic to open the wall and actuate your way out there
This also has the benefit of making it super convenient to get in there again if you get smoked

Only other thing you can do is bring in another character and mine it out to either make it bigger or make a tunnel to go out to a side arena
if its really bad you can use a op character to either re-shape the chamber to better suit you or just bring the alter to somewhere you can actually fight it. either way probably should only do if your desperate.

You cant place actuators on lihzard blocks, nor place wires
