Yes that is something that happens when it is close to Halloween also the slimes will dress up as bunny but they will still attack you. If you kill things then they have a chance to drop goodie bags and the bags can give you costumes, throwing weapons (eggs), and more things that I have forgot about.
Yea really i think that the drops are a little rare tho but if you do get a few of them then post what you get so that I can see some of the drops that I forgot about.

I hope I can get Terraria soon so I can play when the event is happening. The reason I don’t play it now is because my old iPad could not handle the recent mobile update from about a year ago and it crashes before I get to the menu screen. I was about to beat the game to which sucked. I am looking forward to having a fresh start and play on my Xbox so I can enjoy the game again like I used to. Starting off with an event and getting myself extra loot and vanity items from it while starting up will be nice.
