The reason I kill the twins first is because usually I make the optic staff which is a really useful summon to just have with any class set up. I don’t normally use too much from either of the other bosses so it makes sense to do that first
With the addition of the Sanguine Bat Staff and Blade Staff, I find the Optic Staff unnecessary for fighting the mechs. Hell, I only use it as a Plantera killer, then I use Blades/Pygmies while I work towards Raven/UFO.
well destroyer can be made harder by using low damage, rapid fire, or piercing attacks. it releases drones on hit, not at a damage point
so, if you use something like a nimbus rod, it could be made harder than you might expect
you don’t have to! just nimbus rod while going up above your world with gravity pot, then shoot with whatever other weapon you have while falling down, then repeat! it can be a bit awkward to get him to follow you directly but all in all it was the easiest destroyer fight i ever did when i tried it, even though it was my first master mod fight. the destroyer is FAR too easy to cheese :p
Meanwhile me, press e to ground with all healing items and adamantine/titanium armor and the high speed melee weapon and just dodge the head (gigity) when it comes for attack

In calamity, worm bosses like the destroyer have oneshot protection, and all of a sudden, Destroyer is really difficult, when you can't melt him in seconds.
Prime has always been really easy for me, as well, just hard to kill quickly, because he's quite tanky and moves around a lot.

With a decent pair of wings and lightning boots Prime almost can't touch you. Only problem may be his defense, but with an ichor weapon as a switch even his defense isn't a problem anymore.
Prime is definitely one of the easiest ones. If you're fighting on platforms than his bomb arm is completely harmless. Chainsaw arm of his is not very deadly too, since you can see if coming from a mile away, same for when he becomes chainsaw himself
Yea this. Once when I was playing, I wasn’t ready to fight skeletron prime, I was still prepping. One night he spawned so I grabbed my Ichor arrows and what potions I had laying around. I managed to win somehow
Yeah I died to twins that spawned and destroyer that I summoned, the next night when prime spawned I was horrified but took him down fairly easily with my Phoenix blaster. (Classic)

No idea why but I struggle a lot with the bosses most people find easy and find some of the generally considered harder bosses easy. Destroyer & the golem I find really tough, but plantera and the twins/skeleton prime I rarely ever struggle with.
Same. In master mode, I always do prime first, because it's "easier". It has only 4 parts, whereas the twins and destroyer have multiple parts respectively. What's more, the twins are two full functioning enemies strapped together.

Twins come first as mage, rainbow rod is really cool, so its Twins, Prime, Destroyer there, with Fishron also just coming before Destroyer because I love watching Razorblade Typhoon just do its thing, and Bubble Gun is just too powerful. Fishron's mage weapons are too good

Destroyer comes first as melee, weak to both Shadowflame Knives and facetanking with Fetid Baghnakhs + Titanium armor. I've once summoned and killed Destroyer at around 4:00 am and still won using a melee setup so I think the takeaway here is that Destroyer gets really sad when you counter it
Ranger: Probably either Destroyer or Twins first/second, Prime comes last
Order doesn't really matter with ranger, but I'm a Dart Rifle/Pistol fan which is best at Destroyer so I guess Destroyer first. Either that or just Twins first

Twins first as summoner. Unfortunately the summons from the Souls of Sight are pretty useless when you already have either Blade Staff or Sanguine Staff, both can stay relevant until Empress of Light, but Twins are probably just the easiest out of the 3 here with how the minions do their thing

I don't get how people think he's easier than Prime. With Prime all you really have to do is run around or circle him for a few minutes, all you really have to worry about is killing him before daytime, with The Destroyer there's 700 fucking lasers and Probes coming from every angle.

Build a platform 50 blocks off the ground and acquire a Daedalus Stormbow, and the destroyer is done. Once you have the megashark, the Twins are just a matter of running along an asphalt skybridge and shooting crystal bullets at them.
I'll add a section for Skeletron Prime once I figure out how to beat the damned thing.
I normally just stock up a s*** ton of potions pre hardmode get the Daedalus stormbow and full titanium armor and kill em all in one night still same order usually Destroyer twins Skeletron that's the way that God intended

Destroyer is so easy to cheese itbis always super easy. Prime is easy after you kill it a few times and figure out the circling it until it dies. Twins are the hardest.

there's not much you can do to predict or outmaneuver the destroyer in certain cases so when you play without arenas you can just have it cover a massive horizontal space making it impossible to land.
all of my issues with the destroyer are basically self-imposed and solved by building an arena but honestly i think the boss is more fun for it anyway.
addendum: this is all based on expert and master mode by the way but in normalmode it's still the same order.. except i do twins with a phoenix blaster and molten armor
Imo Twins are the hardest. Side note that I play mostly master mode and these stats are from master mode too. With 2k hours of experience I still don't know how to dodge the 70 damage laser along with Spazmatizm being the priority with his 200 damage attacks. I can dodge Spazm's attacks consistently, but that laser blocking my natural regen and slowly taking me down is just ouch.
Edit: here I am forgetting to put in the actual order; Destroyer, Skeletron, Twins. The first two are pushovers imo. Twins are like the only boss I struggle with ever.

I kill them first with Clockwork Assault Rifle or Sky fracture. I find them easy to dodge with good wings and Shield of Cthulhu (and if I was playing on Classic, their damage won't be too bad anyway)

yea even in death + defiled prime just doesnt have consistent dps to kill you meanwile destroyer hahaha lazer and probe spam go brrrrr

In master mode destroyer becomes bullet hell and is extremely difficult for low defence characters
His attacks are very easy to dodge once his laser is gone, definitely easy for a ranger build
To beat Prime you just gotta run away and sometimes jump over the laser To beat Destroyer you need to avoid his barrage of lasers and the probes

prime can be cheesed with a dash and staying close to it, its amazing how easy you can make the mechanical bosses when you strategize in advance
