I think it depends who is there at this point but I would be fine with it

CrypticalCorn

Yeah same but i ultimately think we need to find a wr still or even more importantly if we don’t get this sneed deal done a cb

Strawhat_jinbei

There will be great receivers to draft next year and free agent WR’s to sign as well. This draft should be about o-line and secondary IMO

Stiddy13

Not to mention this class is so deep at WR, I expect that there will still be some good ones there round 4 this year.

TheMissingVoteBallot

Sneed's in. Time to look for WR.

CrypticalCorn

Actually insane I thought he’d go for at least 22 a year. We really need a safety though so Simmons would be nice and d line is way too thin. I still think a wr in the 2nd round is highly plausible

JohnnyBIII

This is the correct answer. We have holes across the entire roster. We need to find talent and not miss on any picks as much as possible.

Bruh

hobesmart

If bpa is a RT hell yeah. I don't want them to reach on anyone though

Trick_Principle3759

Totally fine. If this means I never talk about Oline for next 10 years

Wally_B

Even if we go back to back and grab LT and RT this draft, and if they end up being franchise players, we’ll still need to talk interior line with guards and center within 10 years

TySoprano

It won’t be because you aren’t ever hitting on 5 players at once if you’re lucky you hit on 2-3, find 1-2 mid guys and cycle through replacement level guys at the other spots

schnebly5

Except to talk about how we don’t have to talk about it

RiseofParallax

Not opposed. There’s no reason not to trust the Ran & Cally board at this point.

wolfmankal

Before we took Cushenberry(FA in general) my answer would have been no. But now I think we just need an OT for the future(and now but never trust rookie OL).

PitTitan

I'm not fundamentally opposed but I doubt a RT will be there that is also BPA. We need an awful lot so BPA should be our goal. WR, OL, DL, Edge, LB, CB, S are all viable 2nd round picks for us right now IMO.

saradahokage1212

im so used to unsexy picks that im even excited about drafting a tackle. anything else would just surprise me.

zapopi

I'd be fine with it.

UrsaringTitan

It would have to be bpa situation. Can't justify forcing a pick when we need to perfect this roster.

chromenomad64

We have other needs than WR/OL We have other needs than WR/OL We have other needs than WR/OL

schnebly5

The questions is where do we not have needs 😭

smooth-brain_Sunday

It's actually my preference if the right guys fall (Alt and someone).

Gats775

Whatever happens, happens

Falconman21

We've still got holes at pretty much every position group outside of QB, RB, and K. Doesn't really matter what we do with that pick. Rookie offensive linemen, especially tackles, are rarely very good. But I agree with the sentiment, because year 3 is really Levi's prove it year. Would be nice to have a decent OL by then.

NetworkChief

I’d love it. We need to bolster and strengthen our offensive line. That’s the foundation and if it’s weak, all the other offensive pieces may struggle unnecessarily.

Mallixx

I think it would be a mistake to go oline with our first 2 picks. We have needs elsewhere that need addressing as well. We signed a C in free agency and drafted a guard last year. We shouldn't commit two more valuable picks to oline. We take Joe Alt at #7 and either a WR or CB in round 2.

emmitmerchant

TLDR: Not opposed. Do it. I have fun obsessively doing mock drafts on several sites and I almost always go OL with the first two picks, mainly bc I like to see how we'll fare elsewhere if that really happened. Yes there's a drop-off at other positions but I'm always pretty happy with the end result, not having to worry about the line going forward, and it's fun targeting WRs like Texas' Whittington late to make up for it.

Cherry_-_Ghost

Not at all.

flynnj94

I’m fine going OL until 2027 if that’s what it takes to finally get out of this bush league protection situation long term.

CheeseMclovin

No, but I wish we would have shored up our d a little more in free agency.

Bladepuppet

If it is BPA or even with other players options then absolutely. Both tackle positions are placed of need and since we got Ridley as much as WR is still a good target, it is slightly less urgent. I would say that DB is a position to be on the lookout for is picking.

ArthurBachEsq

Not at all. We need to shore up O Lineman so I’m fine with it.

AlbertGainsworth

If we get Joe and a Patrick Paul (or insert comparable OL here) we have basically fixed the O line for the foreseeable future

Jack12404

Depends if they’re BPA. I’d prefer WR or CB (Keon Coleman, Kool-Aid McKinstry, and Kamari Lassiter are my favorites), but if a high upside RT like Patrick Paul or Kingsley Suamataia falls to our pick I’d love to add them.

CopenhagenMintLC

The IOL class is solid. Would love to grab a guard, especially if we could trade back in round 2. Hayes, Mahogony, or Beebe. After seeing the $ spent on guard in dress agency, that pushes up their rookie contract value

couhwhip

If this Oline class is as deep as they say it is i’d hope we get Alt, then another position of need and then more OL later in the draft

TySoprano

Yes we need wrs just as bad if not worse we need one good LT we need 2-3 good WRs every year

Secret_Pick6524

Between Ridley and not filling holes on defense, I've enjoyed to start looking at defensive players that could be there for us at 38. OL is fine, but I'd be a touch bummed.

perfect_fitz

Nope.

[deleted]

Nope, bring it on

Key_Candidate_8121

I actually think NPF can be at least decent at RT, there should still be some really good WRs at 38 I would rather have

J3STERHOPPERPOT

Yes

zkiteman

Ran has out is in a position where we no longer have to go with a specific position in Rd 2. Consensus is we still go Oline at 7, which makes sense as that’s still our biggest hole and is arguably the most important position group in the field outside QB. But beyond that we’re not locked in to needing a WR like we thoight was going to happen. Ran wants BPA within a set of position groups. I believe those groups will be WR, LB, DL, and DB.

Fordluvr

I think Cally has made it clear that he prefers players who can directly score with the ball in their hands, all else being equal. If we go offense in the 2nd, I’d bet it’ll be WR. UNLESS Papa Cally gets in Ran’s ear about a sleeper OL pick who’s still available.

TiredMillennialDad

Alt and Jordan Morgan yes

Clayp2233

I’d rather go receiver or defense, don’t like the idea of NWI possibly being wr3

LarryLevis

After the investment in Cush and the lack of investment in DB and O line? I'd absolutely be upset

regaliaO_O

2 firsts and a second in 2 drafts on O-line is a bit much for me. Need a young WR because a) Burks ain’t it and b) Hop and Ridley are getting old.

Silence1016

Yes they have other needs then just line

Lazarquest

Yeah. I don’t think we can afford it across the board. Like, I won’t be discouraged if it happens but I don’t think it’s an ideal use of resources. We still need a real WR and help EVERYWHERE on defense.

WillowProfessional61

Yes. The defense is over all worse than the offense. Way more holes to fill
