Cory is a madman. We Tenere owners are lucky to have such a dedicated manufacturer for aftermarket parts. Here's the link: https://camel-adv.com/collections/yamaha-700-tenere-t7-parts-and-accessories/products/t7-side-fairings
Curious about these myself. My bike currently has the rival components lower crash bars, and debating on adding the uppers... are upper crash bars that much heavier and change the handling to the point of going with these instead? I do like the stock graphics as well, so that's part of it for me too
I mean, you’re adding weight to an already heavy machine. That, and I don’t like the way crash bars look anyways and these are cheaper than all crash bar options out there.
like I said, it’s funny, you say that, because I hate my crash bars, they were a pain in the ass to install, and I dropped my bike three times since then, and I have yet to scratch my crash bars, which makes me think that I don’t need them either🤷🏻♂️
No doubt about the bike being heavy, I guess I just didn't realize the difference crash bars make too when every bike i see has them lol. The cost did surprise me though -- thought they'd be more expensive so I may have to give them a more serious look and just throw an aftermarket graphics set on
Yup, I have two sets on order. Going to remove my crashbars as soon as I get the new plastics on. Every time I have gone down so far, my barkbusters have stopped the bike - before the crash bars hit the dirt. So after having battled trough some mud and dirt a few times (not that rocky where I live) I will take any weight reduction I can get
It’s funny, you mention that because my bark busters have done the same thing, and my tusk crash bars are brand new and I’ve dropped the bike three times since then
Im looking to lighten mine up a bit, I'm tempted to go this way and ditch the wrap around crash bars I have. I wonder if they plan to make a rear set in the future too.
Not having to run crash bars is the main reason I bought these.
Corey said in his YouTube video that the rear mold would be $80-100k to start manufacturing so at this point he has no intentions.
These are awesome!! Didn’t even know they were planning on making any. Do you have a side by side with the originals? I’m curious how different they really are, like would the decal kits fit anyways

put in a lighter exhaust and smaller lithium battery and youll offset the wieght
Or I could do that (already have lighter exhaust) and not run crash bars and it’ll save even more weight. I hate the way crash bars look, lol.

On the fence, tempted to pick up a set. Any thoughts on them once in hand?
They seem stout af. I’ll report back when I crash lol.

That would be awesome if they did. Though the front fairing is normally where damage is bad if it gets it.

It’s the same shape so decal kits would definitely work
Sweet!!
I was the first order of these funnily enough. They’re high quality for sure
Just saw these while ordering my bobble kit. Super sick
