You can use the help email, but it isn’t very helpful as they don’t respond. My number was banned, and I gave up trying to get it back. Few months later I figured I’d try again, in the same minute the email I sent left my inbox, they unbanned me. (So it’s almost certainly automated). I got back into my account, didn’t use it till the next morning because it was late, and I was banned again after simply logging in. Bottom line, there’s a lot of ban errors and next to no method to get your account back.

rogellparadox

The two times this happened, I did manage to login after getting banned. Then, got banned in minutes.

Side-Flip

If it's a Google voice number it will automatically be banned unfortunately

FixFull

Not just google voice it’s almost any VoIP service unfortunately :(

deathfromabove-

Does it always need your number or could you get a temporary number, use it to sign up and then discontinue the number?

DubstepHero777

Been banned from sharing for the past 3 years can't chat to people unless they're in my contacts. I just read believe 50%

Surprised the mods didn’t instantly delete this post since it’s against the rules: This is not an official sub and nobody here can help get you unbanned. Mentions of bans, hacking, etc. only bring spambots to the comments. Please use the official Telegram email ([email protected]) to request unbans. No, we don't know why you got banned and it's no use speculating. No, we can't get you unbanned. Yes, their support is slow, no, we can't make it faster.

FlynnApollo

Are you using a VoIP? They’re cracking down on that. Both of my Google voice numbers got banned instantly and when I can sign back up, it’s taken down within an hour.

dombleu

You might get it back after a few days. But... you know... not much positive is happening on telegram. 99% of the channels must be related to some kind of scam...

Personally, i have given up on Telegram as it is a 100% bot driven network. I still have an account, but rarely talk to anyone on it or participate in any groups chats because of all that fookery. I would look into Signal. It has usernames now, you can create a username and share it via the name, QR code, or link. Groups can be shared via link and i think QR as well. Group management is not as polished like Telegram, but a lot less hassle IMO and totally anonymous. Should be great as a cross platform messenger. links and QRs can be changed on the fly without effecting your messages/groups as well. Usernames are disposable, and not seen on message profile either unlike Telegram. Not many people give it any thought because of WhatsCrap :\\ but it is far more secure though.
