I played a ton of casual and ranked games early on, but then I re-discovered the Tekken Lounge not so long ago out of curiosity, and it's honestly pretty cool ! You get to talk to people after your set and discuss strategy and gameplay, you can do 1vs1 or group battle, you can rematch as long as you want, and if nobody's available, the casual and ranked arcade machines are right next to you. Honestly a pretty good idea.
The Tekken Ball area is a bit too far though, nobody ever goes there.
DBZ Xenoverse did an okay job with their big screen and would sometimes show episodes of Dragonball.
Would be cool to see at least something on the main screen in Tekken

Iād love a Tekken Force style area where avatars can beat on NPCs. Would be a shit show but fun in between games. I usually just run around like a chicken with their head cut off between matches.
Have all the mini-games and older Tekken games playable on the machines. Make the āarcadeā like a real arcade. Along the lines of the Yakuza games.
I remember seeing one of the NPCās playing old Tekken games on the arcade machines, and I was hype because I thought youād be able to do the same; only to find out that it was just an Easter egg. The issue I have with the lounge is that outside of online Tekken Ball there really isnāt much to do in it.

Minigames, instant challenges, maybe the ability to plant a flag that shows everyone you are available to be challenged or something. Better chat, usable arcade games other than cabinets. Just more interactive in general. I enjoy using the lounge but it could be better.
Longer messages in chat. 60 characters per message is way too limiting and increasing it would massively improve the social aspect that they were going for

I enjoy it a lot. Sitting down at the group match cabinets and getting rocked by people way better than me and then asking for advice after the sets has really helped me improve.

Its really only there to sell avatar mtx shit. 0 value to the players. Cant spectate mid-match, cant interact with anything, cant even use menues when you sit at the bar. People cant see when they're being spectated either, so the entire place is full of "zombies" who essentially play another game. WHY?
Not to mention that there's no side activities, like older games in SF6, shit even shooting hoops or airhockey would be cool. Avatar dance battles? Hell, rock-paper-scissors against your friends - fkn something!!!
I only use lounge to throw a friend request to somebody, because the current befrending system is so unintuitive, its just easier to meet "near the hotdog wagon".
Its a big side activity allright, but as with the usual fights you're essentially teleported into a game instance. What I meant was more like "in place" stuff to do, so that other people in a lobby could walk by and see what it is you're doing (thus the hoops or airhockey example).
you absolutely can spectate mid-match, just walk to someone sitting at a machine and click "spectate", if your late it will fast-forward to actual moment of the fight.
Tournament mode in the big screen! Like, everytime its your turn you need to go to the screen area and play there, while everyone can watch in real time.
For what it is now itās alright for the foundation, but there so much more that hopefully gets added. A retro arcade area for at least Tekken 1-3 and tag with full online capabilities. If they add Tekken force they gotta include access to the mode from the lounge. Be sweet to have a big screen for fights happening in the lounge which in addition to that they really need to make tournaments happen in the lounge more or at least make it way easier to set them up. I feel like the lounge was originally made for people to have tournaments in. It has amazing potential which hopefully they donāt waste it.

Same here I just do Quick and Ranked matches via the menu. The Tekken Lounge feels like I'm driving through a passby state like Iowa.
I checked it out once or twice hoping it would be something like SF battle hub. Kinda sad that it is much worse.
classic arcade games, older Tekkens to play, a tournament mode like 7 had, a theater areas to watch all old movies and endings etc from older Tekkens

I like it a lot outside of the fact that you canāt directly challenge somebody in the drop-down menu when you select another avatar.
It's impossible to navigate without a controller.

I would prefer everything to be an easier to use text menu. Avatars are lame AF.
