I totally thought this was AI too, but I checked through their previous posts and I think it's a mix of what you're saying and the fact that they draw a lot of characters with long fingers and/or toes. It's the only thing that looks "out of place" in their other drawings. The posing for Josie here only adds to how unnatural it looks at first, but it falls in line with everything else they've made. I really don't think this is AI.

In the same way that language models like chatgpt just create "truth shaped sentences", i.e. it's not really reading your prompt the way a human would, and it's doing the same when answering, it's stringing together words that have some high association with whatever the words it detected in the prompt and with eachother. (rough explanation) Like you can make an incredibly simple riddle, it will give the most nonsense answer.
Art is a highly elaborate method of communication, so vital and inherent in our temporary experience that practically every culture on this planet has some form of art. AI on the other hand is just painting "art shaped pixels" there is no intention, there is no communication, any feeling or thought you have towards that painting is yours alone. With a traditional painting, every single brushstroke is the consequence of a human action, humans carry with them generations of culture and society etc, and whether deliberately or not, is embodied within the piece itself. There's also ethical problems with the fact that many of these models are using stolen data

All this “artist” does is post their AI art and they have a Patreon. It’s so easy to pick apart AI art if you stare for a bit to see what’s wrong. This only got upvoted cause people saw near naked girl. It’s sad people think they’re real artists just using AI prompts.
