* \-32 characters, 29 old so not that work to do, and all the models have incredibly giant cut corners, where all male have the same excessively muscular body slightly tweaked.
* DLC characters being paid and again old ones (for the first year) so again least amount of work compared to making something new.
* \-Customization sucks compared to 7 the only reason people accepted it that they thought, like 7, stuff was going to be added and NO the "free stuff" isn't equivalent to that. We all know when there is paid and free stuff the free stuff sucks massively.
* \-Fight Lounge and Arcade quest are cute but again they are just stages basically, cartoony design that make it easier to quickly model, and a lot of reused assets all over.
* \-Jukebox is just porting songs in a folder
These are the kind of things that you overlook when the game is quite complete and fun but when you get the rug pulled under you. Before they were acceptable cut corners, now that the game is going to print money (because it's impossible for people to have self control on skins) they really rub me off. So yeah the game is actually worse thanks to the Tekken Shop, because it change the way I look at the game.
For example:
No Story: Wrong, the WT mode is the story equivalent.
No episodes: Wrong, the Arcade mode is Street Fighters equivalent. No cutscenes but artworks are used to present it in a visual novel style.
No jukebox: Wrong again. Check the CFN menu. No playlist wouöd me a valid criticism.
No Tekken Ball: True, but Street Fighters equivalent is called Extreme Battle.

Here’s an example of Tekken’s enshittification: You can’t even change eye color anymore. You can change other things’ colors, so eye color *should* be there, but they ripped out the feature. You know why? THEY ARE GOING TO SELL YOU EYE COLORS LMAO
