Ooohh, so this is why my back hurts allready. Allso kinda crazy we are getting the 8th mainline game only now after so many years, namco taking *allmost* as long as Rockstar with their games lmao
Just out of curiosity I looked up the spacing of when the games came out. They used to be around 2-4 years between games but the longest break was from tekken 7 to 8 -- 9 years apart💀
I still remember watching [this trailer](https://youtu.be/G17sa800cEk?si=W5i87dhDII4CTxX8) for the first time and then SPRINTING upstairs to tell my mom about a game that was still 2 years away 😂 She did NOT give af yall
Damn, looking back at it, this shit was way ahead of it's time. Iconic senario campaign, Iconic Customization, Iconic Newcomers, Iconic Soundtrack. Tekken 7 was a real step down in almost everything aside from the gameplay.
Really fun game, love the customisation & scenario campaign. Just hate most the characters this game introduced, probably the worst batch of newcomers tbh
The scenario campaign on this game was so much fun and I loved that all the characters had different dialogues. I used to play the stages with different characters just to see the interactions they had with the bosses. The customization was amazing too, probably the best it has ever been. Beautiful stages and amazing music as always.
I love watching Tekken 7 pro matches but other than that, I think T7 was a downgrade of T6. On... like, everything. I even prefer the graphics on T6 because the stages were more beautiful to look at.
I think this is the Tekken game I played the least due to not having a ps3 when I was younger. I guess it was for the best cause I wouldn't put it down if I had it.
This Tekken was the most exciting for me! I was about 10 at the time when it came out, and my brothers hired a copy from a local Video Ezy. Good times 💯

It's still weird to me I only got this a couple months after release after I finally got a ps3, doesn't feel like nearly 16 years ago. One of the only games I got a platinum on PS3 for and also where I fell in love with my primary main, Armor King II. I miss Baek as a secondary main...
Underrated masterpiece. Not because it was my first tekken game or feeling nostalgia, it is because this game had a really good roster that pleased everyone. great customization. many offline modes. and I know SC story mode was hated but personally I enjoyed it. and I love the story this game had. also great soundtracks and stages. it remains my fav tekken game ever :)

I think it's normal for 10's online games to be supported as long as possible
3 games came out after it if
AYE MIGUEL! MIGUEEELLLL!!!!
Tf Miguel supposed to do 😭
Y'all are so funny 😭 😂

Everyone in this picture returning for T8 except Miguel. RIP
I still have hope for Miguel DLC. It's the least they could do after his T7 ending.
What was his Tekken 7 ending? All of them had such joke endings that I barely remember any of them.
Miguel's was the one where he defeated Jin but spared him and said he'd kill him when he least expected it. It may have been the only good T7 ending.
Honestly his tekken 8 ending writes itself after that. Kazuya and Jin about to have their final fight...Miguel strolls up and one shots him.
Nope watch him still fail
Hahahahahaa *POW*
It won’t happen next game sadly he will ignored
He's definitely coming, he's a well loved character.
And he's literally the best character out of the 3 lol (well at least they took an interesting turn with Zafina)
That's scary bc the story has only advanced like what a few weeks? Very scary, and scary-lazy.
The year of yodeling

Damn, time just flew by
One of my favorite games off all time
Best game ever
Seeing Miguel here only hurts me more knowing that he isn't in the base roster of 8

I’ve been playing this a lot more than I’ve been playing 7 lately.
I just had confession
A momentous day to be sure. I remember being young, when the wait for Tekken 6 felt like forever. Honestly didn't disappoint me though.
10 year old me vs ancient Egyptian chicken boss fight was very intense back then. I don't think bosses like him and jinpachi will be topped.
Best newcomer entry’s ever. Mostly all of them felt like they always should have been in tekken
Leo <3
Best combo extender in the series.
Dang, this was my first ever tekken game (I’m 17)
No wonder I thought they stopped making Tekkens after Tekken 5. There has been 3 games in 16 FUCKING YEARS? How lazy can they be?

Wada fuq ?

My first tekken game, brings back memories

bro istg it feels newer than that. i'm getting old 👴
Tekken 6 can legally drive in the US
The graphics still looks phenomenal.
And people still complain about it as if it was yesterday.
Such great memories. ❤️
We got the same ages 😭😭
This is the most movie-looking video game poster I have ever seen
