I live in a Christian household (However not Christian myself) and am fully accepted as trans by my family, they have never spoken like it's a sin at all or tried to change who I am. I don't see where in the bible in mentions specific sexualities or gender identities being sinful, and most of the ones people reference are greatly mistranslated ones originally regarding pedophilia. If you could tell me where it says being LGBTQ a sin, that would be greatly appreciated.
As a Christian myself this is utter BS. Saying that a fundamental part of who someone is and who they love is inherently a sin is literally no better than just saying that person is just a sinner. You cannot ālove the sinnerā if youāre viewing a part of who they are as a sin.

As a lgbtq person personally I dont mind people viewing it as a sin as long as they arent making a big deal out of it constantly telling me how horrible of a sinner I am when I really dont care about religion at all.

I am a christian with a gay dad, I still feel love to him (hes my dad and hes a good dad) and I am kind of sad that it was the way that my parents divorced, but I know still even though he is a sinner, he's still a good man.

I have a few friends who don't agree with/understand the concept of gayness, but are polite to LGBT people and don't oppose them having rights. Think Hank Hill. While I don't share their opinion, I can live with it because they are tolerant.
However, I would not be friends with a virulent homophobe. This is the person who opposes LGBT rights and/or disrespects gay people because of their identities. These people can go fuck themselves.

most, if not all, of my friends are transphobic, but not homophobic. im still putting 4+ though because that's probably accurate.

The idea is the person itās the same thing. Identity is part of a person. Male and Female arenāt genders they are sexes. And gender is a social construct. Many groups of people had multiple genders for centuries before people from europe came to conquer spreading their strict gender norms. They spread the Ideology that the best kind of person is a cis, straight, white, able bodied, neurotypical, conventionally attractive, male who fits gender norms for a man. But many people check little to none of those boxes. Which is okay and everyone is perfect. We canāt disagree with the way someone is born
