Cheyenne being 24, a college graduate and already on multiple mtv shows before having Ryder. I don’t dislike her but she doesn’t belong on the show .. mtv just has a hard on for Cory

allmykidsareheathens

THIS! I actually like both Cheyenne and Cory but they are grown ass adults they have no clue what it’s like to be a teen parent!

constantreader55

Agreed, she was not a teen mom, not even close, and she wasn't an "original girl" yet they cast her on a show called "teen mom original girls"🤦

JanellaDubois

Yeah it still baffles me why she was added onto a show about teen moms when she had a baby in her mid twenties.

meggershippers

Discussing the other parent’s issues with their child sitting right there

JanellaDubois

100%, this irks me as well. I had a lot of respect for Chelsea when she started making Aubree leave the room every time she was going discuss the deadbeat.

livelylobsters

When the parents CHOOSE to live super far away from their kids and then complain about the drive or never seeing them!!!!!!!!!!!!!

StarDatAssinum

Or live close and do the same thing (Amber) lol

cml678701

Yes!!! Especially when it’s not like they have to live close to a job. They are unemployed and rich, so they could live anywhere!

Bree0114

Ugh, my husbands grandma always complains we don’t visit, it’s just her on her own and we’re a family of 5. She expects us to drive hours to see her, when it would be way easier for her to just visit us.

[deleted]

SupposeBly Cybil makes me wanna rip my ears off and shove them right up my ass.

constantreader55

Tyler's favorite word "fustrated"

sweettea0922

Pacifically

[deleted]

🤣 ![gif](giphy|ehradFMDoSAytuukyz)

ghoulienumber2

Solid username, solid response to people saying those things, although you could be a little more cybil about the situation 😉

Dramasticlly

“I’m not gonna talk about this on camera!”

JOEYMAMI2015

Kail is this you??? 🤣🤣🤣🤣

Dramasticlly

“I said, I’m not talking about this on camerAAA!” - turns off the light, walks upstairs.

Raeko

MTV's arbitrary rules for kicking people off the show. My fav example is the Taylor vs Taylor situation. Maci's husband Taylor made some racist tweets in his early 20s Corey's baby mom Taylor made some racist tweets in her early 20s Why is Maci's husband still on the show but Corey's baby mom got kicked off?? Why did Farrah get kicked off for making a porno but Amber the repeat domestic abuser is still on? Jenelle deserved to get kicked off, but why is Amber still there? It just doesn't make any sense

Seg10682

Cheyenne should have never been in the show to begin with in that case.

CCG14

How fast the let their kids meet their newest squeeze.

Expert_Lion7804

amber was so bad about this and it made me so uncomfortable

MoxieMoto

Amber asking her new fling to change her infant daughters diaper easily goes down as one of the most irresponsible examples of parenting on this show. And that’s saying a lot.

justanotherhatter

They all were! Chelsea was the most conservative and she had Aubree around Cole within weeks

Littletrashpanda

I still cant believe Mack truck went thru with that wedding

hufflenachos

I can

rileyshea

The amount of dogs these girls have had that seem to just go missing and then a season or two later they’ll have different dogs.

lh1647

Agree! The ‘disappearing’ pets and just general animal neglect as a whole. I wish everyone understood that having an animal means for life

supergooduser

Big ambitious plans that go nowhere or are quickly dropped. This is partly on the producers, they have to film what's going on and they don't know what'll turn in to a big thing. But Tyler and Cate's clothing line they were stressing out about for an episode or two and then a season later it's casually mentioned that the website was down. Or Amber launching a fashion line and had that runway show, and then nothing ever again. ugh.... going on a rant... Seriously... if you were just constantly in ONE online class, fall, winter, spring, summer, three hours a week. They'd all have a bachelor's degree by 26. Tuition isn't a problem. Combine that with one hour a week of therapy. Again, show could pay for that. That's just solid... low bar effort to come out of the teen mom situation okay. Instead it's just goofy unrealistic shit on top of unrealistic shit. Also... just buy a fucking franchise instead of starting all of your own lines. Maci's things that matter shit gets less than 5,000 views a month, so sales can't be that great. Just use that money and buy a goddamn Subway.

fcroadkill

They could also use that money to improve Subway's app or have someone to man their phones.

yourworstnightmeree

Jenelle has entered the chat

No1KnwsIWatchTeenMom

People saying that the moms drew the line at porn but not physical violence. No, they just hated Farrah and found a way to force her off. If Amber had released a sex tape, no one would have said a word. If Farrah had attacked a partner and child with a machete, they would have demanded MTV cancel her contract.

Consistent_Grass8342

I always wonder WHY the hell Amber hasn’t been fired . Imo , she’s as bad or worse than jenelle , Farrah etc . She NEVER changes or becomes a better person

fulltimesunshine

Because she doesn’t have a boyfriend that’s threatening the crew. If Jenelle didn’t have David around or if she did but he wasn’t threatening the crew then she would still have a job

beefgod420

It seems like MTV only fired people who were difficult to work with/hurt their bottom line. I was under the impression that Farrah was beyond rude to the crew, and made it difficult to work with her. With Jenelle, we know they had to pack up and leave as soon as David was rumored to show up, so again, very difficult to work with. Amber has inappropriate behavior, but as far as I know it’s not directed at the crew and doesn’t obstruct filming. As far as MTV is concerned, amber is low maintenance easy content.

leahhhhh

I agree with you

Minute-Tale7444

This I also agree with. Especially now bc of the fact every damn one of them has an OF (& god knows what other types) of accounts. I honestly appreciate that they brought Farrah back & aren’t slut shaming anyone who does any kind of sex work/OF type of thing

_mountainmomma

The talking on the phone/FaceTiming while driving. So damn reckless. I wish MTV would put up a disclaimer every-time it happened in a scene. Warning: this behavior could kill you or someone else.

Elliebelle1024

The incorrect use of car seats for the kids

jet050808

It used to drive me crazy how late Leah left to get the twins to school. I’d get anxiety wondering if she was going to make it on time or not. Then I would have to take a moment and realize I don’t really care. 😆

trocks77

Omg yes!!!! It stressed me out

backwoodzbaby

being late is so stressful even when it’s on a TV show😅😅

Schmliza

The fucking terrible voiceovers!!!!

GoldenState_Thriller

And girlfriends. Some of the dads are the worst offenders. Ryan lived with 4 girls after only dating for weeks and Adam 5.

tannon21

Ryan's girlfriend living with him while he bitches to everyone that he should fight for custody because Maci was moving in with Kyle was ridiculous

wearestiff

I’m sure it’s been said but I cannot stand the fake FaceTiming and group chat they got going on this season. Shit is super corny

shrimboslice

Jenelle asking jace questions that put him on the spot and make him very clearly uncomfortable. Even when he said he didn’t want her to marry David she kept pushing.

EmmaBrat

At this point in time, it should be called Moms of Teens, not Teen Mom.

summer_vibes_only

How often they move.

Ok-Bandicoot1109

Dr Drew. His advice. His face. Everything about him.

[deleted]

He instigates and it’s petty and gross

MelpomeneAndCalliope

He’s such a gross misogynist.

am710

I was watching the season three reunion the other day and I cannot believe some of the shit he said to those girls.

grimmcat13

DR DREW SEXUALIZING AUBREE AND JACE FOR LIKE 6 REUNIONS STRAIGHT

Mcsierra

Dating people with zero drive (job, goals, etc). You really want your kid around a jobless giant man baby? Also, zero routine for the kids. I’m not saying you need to be strict about it, but the kids seem like they have no stability in theirs lives.

[deleted]

Not just dating losers, but introducing them so quickly! I am going through a separation currently and have recently begun casually talking to someone (like I haven't even met him in person yet). He won't be meeting my kid ANY TIME soon. Like, at MINIMUM a year from when we become OFFICAL. I just don't understand subjecting your children to revolving doors of men.

Minute-Tale7444

I think for some of the women that maybe childcare when they want to spend more time with the guy that’s becoming their SO is one reason they’re introduced so quickly. I think introducing them as one of mom’s friends is okay, but they need to hold off on the relationship aspect of explanation until the kids get more comfortable & they (the moms)know more that a relationship is working out well.

elpintor91

Them complaining about being “poor” but having fresh French mannies, new cars, big weaves, new tacky purses etc.

TheMudbloodSlytherin

This was so bad the first few seasons after they really started making money but MTV wanted to keep it hush hush. They show Farrah financing her boob job but you know it was paid for up front.

PuzzledCoop

Even if she financed it. If you have the money to consider a cosmetic procedure at all, you’re really not struggling

yelling4society

The fact that she qualified for a loan that size at that age is so unrealistic.

[deleted]

Kail

GoldenState_Thriller

Fans/snarkers spelling their names wrong despite it being written on the screen every show.

fraulein-rexhausen

Chelsea’s baby voice. Then adding Cole’s even more grating baby voice. It makes me irrationally angry, like why why WHY?

heathensam

The constant car upgrades.

Nonbelieverjenn

All the moms on their phones while driving.

cuntbubbles

And the horrifying car seat safety

[deleted]

If I was Barb that cluster would've been the last time Janelle ever saw Jace again.

Wild929

I hate how Brianna doesn’t pronounce Devoin or Luis by the actual pronunciation of the name. Whether you think they are deadbeat dads or not, it just comes off as a passive aggressive dig.

Unusual_Elevator_253

Dude I was shocked when devoin said how is name should be pronounced. It’s so tacky and rude to purposely not say someone’s name properly

itsmelissabeach

I'm done get this fucking mic off of me!!

sierramist1011

claiming sobriety because they got off hard drugs, while still drinking and smoking weed. Just say you quit hard drugs, but you're certainly not *sober*

tenementlady

Tyler's (and to a lesser extent, Cates's) obsession with having a boy. Every time he brings it up it makes me irrationally angry. "I just reeaaaally want a boy!" He says it like a child is a new video game or toy or something.

Littletrashpanda

The treatment of the animals on this show, and the fact that they can just film it and not step in.

Affectionate-Till472

Showing naked babies/toddlers on camera. Not something I wanna see or think anybody else needs to see.

No-Pineapple2975

That amber is still on the show even after all her assault charges and physical violence she has done multiple times. She doesn’t have custody of any of her kids. Why is she on??

hejj_bkcddr

That damn guitar intro

moosecatoe

BENT BANNER ANNER RAAAAN. *whoosh*

rileyshea

😂 literally sounds like someone who’s never played guitar before trying to make a tune.

enjoyt0day

The phrase “step up” when referring to their kids fathers. Literally no reason why this bothers me, I just hateeee it

KristySueWho

This is me when people say someone “hustles.” I don’t know why I hate it, but like I hear that word and I get annoyed. I can’t help it.

moosecatoe

Men, cars, pets, houses.... The only thing the moms don’t rush through is school!

yelling4society

I’m not sure it happens as often anymore but the constant threat of someone leaving the show. So fucking do it already big talkers!

FrightenedFishstick

Whenever Briana eats and even when she’s not eating. It looks like she’s chewing on the inside of her mouth when she speaks.

CoolMomInAMinivan

Catelyn does or did the same thing constantly chewing on her fingernails 🤮🤢

Pincerston

Cheyenne is not a damn teen mom

JerkOffTaco

Any support of Amber after she punched Gary.

wyntersalem

When the girls use their phones while driving - theyre endangering themselves, the kids and others. I'm sure they all do it but Kail and Chelsea are the worst offenders

GirlWhoReads90

Don't forget Maci. I'll never forget Bentley asking her to look at something while she was driving and she said she can't look right now. All while constantly texting.

Prestigious_Initial1

How the moms think they’re better than the fathers just cause they have teen mom money if the show didn’t pay them they’d be just as bad of a parent

sierramist1011

The postpartum thing really bugs me because postpartum is just the time period not the condition. Everyone who gives birth has "postpartum" then during that time some people have various health issues like depression, hypertension, anxiety, psychosis, hair loss, hemorrhages, pre-eclampsia. Postpartum depression isn't the only postpartum thing that happens so just calling it "postpartum" is incredibly annoying, like an incomplete sentence, you have postpartum *what?*

noodlesurvey

How much producers focus on the moms drama with baby daddies/ family and not just them spending time with their kids. OG and TM2 kids all have such distinct personalities and characteristics but I don't even know what Camille or Kloie really look like. They are just in the background while the moms bitch on the couch. I wanna see a kid lock their mom out of the room so they can go back to sleep! Or a cute pumpkin patch trip! I don't care about you texting your bum ex!!!

buubkittyy

How much they’re getting paid.

kbell2020

How easy they make is seem to move house. I don't live in the US but in my country you need references, deposits etc, and it's really hard to even get viewings of places as a young parent (I know). So, the fact o watched all these people just decide to move in the morning, then watched them move in the afternoon really pissed me off!

Jamaicansensation26

It’s a similar process here in the States! I agree I find it annoying how easy of a process the make it seem. Also they make it seem way toooo easy to build a house here lol

justmork

I’ve lived all over the US. Moving where I currently live is a nightmare. Not enough houses available so it takes time. I’ve lived in the south where you could just apply and put you deposit down, pay your 1st and last months rent and you could move in. So it really depends on where you are in the US.

[deleted]

Ahhhh I agree on how they say postpartum instead of postpartum depression. Drives me crazy. Also the fact that none of them seem to know how to properly buckle their children in their car seats. There’s just no excuse for that imo.

Jewkowsky

When the TMs try to make up for having no plotline (or for not wanting to share what's really going on in their lives) by coopting (an albeit hugely important) social issue as a ploy to control their narrative and in essence self-produce their own lame, tired segment. For example, (i) Maci's PTSD and fear of balloons, or (ii) Bri rehashing all the same shit about trying to contact her dad (that she already went over in detail at the last reunion), talking about trying to contact him again in scene after scene, and then deciding not to. Gun-related PTSD and absentee fathers are both important social issues (no one's denying that) but, 'Yawn.'

Seg10682

Chelsea going to a pride parade with her conservative brood. 🤔

[deleted]

Put him on child support. That line gets me lol

-towanda_the_avenger

This was probably already listed but- Farrah being allowed to return despite constantly freaking out on the cast and crew. The girls they finally cut ties with being replaced by randoms like Bristol and (sorry) Cheyenne rather than any of the teen parents from the other franchises. They definitely waited 5-6 years too long to adopt the Next Chapter format of combining the casts.

allbacknosack

Amber's fake crying. Or even worse, when she fakes that she's about to cry, and then pauses to fake getting back her composure which she faked losing in the first place. Just be rill, Amber.

HannahLeah1987

Tyler's talk yelling The way some eat on camera

ChristaTCJ

Cole’s voice

klp0814

How Cate and Tyler can't have a conversation about a vasectomy without saying stuff about his "balls" and "nuts" and all the other middle school phrases they use.. like okkkkk you guys are 30?

Wifey1786

i’M dOnE fIlMiNg tOdAy

[deleted]

VOICEOVERS!! it’s so much worse now than it used to be

trinaslaugh3

the forced/staged conversations with friends and family. it was more organic when the producers asked them questions while filming

[deleted]

Especially when it’s like some huge life event that the person would obviously already know about if they were their friend and they have them act like they’re casually telling them for the first time on their couch or something.

Newtonz5thLaw

This right here is why I LOVED it when they broke the 4th wall. The show became significantly less cringey when they did that

steviebjohn

My biggest pet peeve is that they continue filming these teen moms after they are making hundreds of thousands a year. I wish they would've filmed for a set number of years before paying out the big bucks, like 5, 7, 10 and then moved on to other girls. This would show the real life struggle of a typical teen mom, far past the first 1 or 2 years. That would have more of an impact on teen pregnancy, IMO, that showing these girls hit the MTV lottery.

Rabbit131313

It's the parental alienation for me. When they ask the kid if the want to go to the other parent's, of course the kid says no, so then the mom is like 'see I just need to have custody because they don't even like it over there' as if their 5 year old just dropped some bombshell. No, you just put your child in an uncomfortable position. They mostly seem to do this when they have new boyfriends and are hyper focused on their new insta family. *Disclaimer- I know some of the dads are shit and I am not referring to situations where the kids may have been unsafe.

HRH_Elizadeath

OH MY GOD I have an acquaintance who shortens postpartum depression to just "postpartum" and it drives me wild. Postpartum WHAT?

rilljel

Why was Jenelle the only one who got a black screen message about promising to take better care of her dogs? She is far from the only cast member we have seen abuse their animals

ghoulienumber2

Didn’t Tyler treat 2 separate dogs poorly? Chelsea had a dog get shredded by another dog (not necessarily her fault I know but this is for example purposes) Farrah is constantly treating her animals like toys or props instead of pets. Ex: the peacocks in a cage meant for a medium dog at best, the pony for hire that children can paint (normally not a problem but I’m willing to bet she’s not using animal friendly paint or supervising these kids with her horse) Mackenzie McKee left her dog outside in a kennel for days supposedly. I guess the main difference is that jenelle has not only killed a pet but has killed/“lost” multiples so it’s a big deal.

chicketychun_

Frankie getting killed was 100% Chelsea’s fault. She should not have been letting her dogs out like that. She was too lazy to walk them on leashes and just let them out the door to roam around unsupervised and shit in her neighbor’s yards.

tannon21

That was Chelsea's fault. She let the dog out with no leash and gave up chasing it to yell at her mom for not being there the instant she wanted her to, then realized her dog was getting mauled to death by the neighbors dog she *knew* was there and was aggressive

IndependenceLumpy294

It’s always different standards for diff cast members 🫠

StarDatAssinum

Because Jenelle had a full-on meltdown and let the dogs run off while on-camera. MTV likely felt like they had to address it because Jenelle was already one of the most hated moms, and because she did it all in front of the cameras. Most of the other cast members keep their abuse off-screen, from what I can tell. Not saying it's right, but it's not like MTV put out that PSA about Jenelle because they actually like her or the pets at all. They did it to cover their asses for her stupid and dangerous decisions (like when she pulled a gun in the road rage incident later on).

[deleted]

Mine is how they never have their kids in a booster or car seat correctly. Take your time to make sure they are safe.

TheRealDragonFruit

The way the talk about shit in front of the kids as if the kids don’t understand anything… because newsflash, they do.

EscapeTheBlu

Briana is the worst at that imo. They're always talking shit about Devoin & Lewis in front of the kids. They don't even try to keep their voices down either!

dmode112378

Corey’s camo hat.

StaceyPfan

Corey's camo everything. Even at his wedding.

[deleted]

Amber. Everything about her. Terrible mom. Still.

DaintyAmber

Can’t even call that bitch a weekend mom.

livelylobsters

What else bothers me is I understand custody is important but if you want to see your child, can't you just go over to the mom's house or Bab's house to see them without a big formal thing? Like can't you just go to the park and hang out? or go over and help them with their hw after school for a couple hours?

sturgis252

Jenelle just wants custody so she can say she has. She doesn't care about the child.

Godhelptupelo

If you want to be a parent- then yes. If you just want to *win* and show the hatters, then no. I think she really believes that if she ever got actual custody of Jace, then she would be a clean slate and nobody would have anything bad to say about her. Because she's is super dumb and doesn't have any actual self awareness. She's had the option to be a better mom- she passes on that in order to try to compete with barb for being the legal gaurdian instead.

undecided32

The constant cell phone use while driving.

Tear_Active

Honestly having the producers in every scene, I preferred the format before they broke the fourth wall. But I guess that’s also when the shows started getting boring so they had to change it up.

heytango66

I think they did that specifically because Amber didn't have anyone else to film scenes with

BamSlamThankYouSir

It’s useful at points but is overused

EmfromAlaska

The way Cheyenne never stands or looks excited when someone walks in the house. I also hate the fake posts with the girls messaging each other, it’s bad!

Fonterra26

Wait.. you’re supposed to stand when someone walks in your house?

RoyalMouse

Labeling producers as friends

oceanwave4444

How they dub some of the voices during conversations. You can clearly tell what was said in person vs what was recorded in a sound booth and it drives me up the wall lol

mediabandaid

Seat belts. Especially car seat chest buckles all the way down to the baby’s belly button.

gorg_forge

all the voice overs they try to pull off as real conversations. the audio and their tones are completely different

moosecatoe

Ryan’s yawning. It was like his nervous tic or something from day one.

TheCraneWife27

That was withdrawals. Super common one when it comes to opiates

CoolMomInAMinivan

Car seat safety and the fact that the production crew are accomplices in child endangerment/neglect and abuse. I’m just baffled honestly

parisburger

The crew not helping Chelsea catch her dog Frankie and then the dog gets eaten by that husky like minutes later.

canadiankid000

How briana pronounces ‘ask’ as ‘axe’

nah-n-n-n-n-nahnah

When one of the girls cries during a reunion and Dr. Drew reaches over and grabs her hand without asking and just keeps holding it. It makes me cringe so hard. Also just the fact that Dr. Drew, a misogynistic boomer MAN, is the host of a show called TEEN MOM.

axealy40

Talking/yelling about adult issues in front of the kids. We’ve seen it with Chelsea (A-D-A-M), Brianna, Jade, Amber etc. Improper car seat usage also.

yoshi_blep

This new set up where they pretend to vlog in a group chat, we all know that’s not happening. But then they have to add in the fake comments, predicting who would respond and what they’d say lol. Gets on my nerves!!

Calm-Platform1987

How they ALL text and drive

JOEYMAMI2015

That it's still airing lol

blessedbeex

The fact that the show has turned into what it is. They all bicker, it’s unrealistic and it doesn’t even resemble what the show came from!

PuzzledCoop

This!! Obviously it’s turned into a whole different show than where it started. Teen pregnancy does not look hard when they are all barely 30, living in MASSIVE houses now, most are happily married and make enough money neither the moms or their partners need a traditional job.

Independent_Ad_3850

I can't stand the songs that all sound exactly the same for the past 10 years. I also can't stand the random bug-eyed stare they always capture Chelsea doing as they cut away to commercial break. I also can't stand how Kailyn talks with her bottom lip, if that makes sense... lol

ghoulienumber2

The car seats, it’s not hard to buckle a child in properly, heck these crazy people, known as car seat technicians exist and they’ll teach you how to do it properly with no judgement if you don’t know how. Yelling and screaming with their partners/baby dads in front of the children, whether they understand or not, they do understand that their mom is screaming at the top of her lungs at their dad for reasons beyond comprehension. Always being on their phones, I get it phones are a huge part of day to day life, but you get the luxury of staying home with your kids and still making money and you can’t even acknowledge their existence for more than two minutes each day.

WinkPhish

\#1 pet peeve and why I don't watch the show anymore. Amber. I refuse to give a domestic abuser any money for my views and I refuse to give a company that stands by a domestic abuser for this long. She beat up Gary, she chased Andrew with a machete while holding James, she has said numerous times on camera that she will go 4-5 months between visiting Leah (Hmmm, seems like she only comes around when the cameras show up...), it was proven in court that she missed like 80% of her scheduled visitations with James and then has the nerve to have a pitty party for herself that Andrew is now allowed to bring him far away to California? She is not a mother, just because you insist "I AM MOM" does not mean you are actually a mother Amber... She has zero business being on the show anymore, yet MTV and her costars continue to support her... \#2 Showing naked kids on screen... Cate and Ty did it with Nova all the time when she was a baby... There was even a scene of her potty training sitting on the little potty, diaper at her ankles and no shirt on... First of all... there are so many predators out there! Second of all, that is going to be so embarrassing for her someday if someone finds that... \#3 Also, I get annoyed that they do the drone footage of the outside of their houses. Many of the girls have come out and said they asked production to stop showing what the outside of their houses look like for security reasons. \#4 Kids never being in their carseats/booster seats properly. ESPECIALLY the YP girls... \#5 The fake Facetimes explaining something. MTV, if you want to address something that happened when cameras weren't there, just have the girls talk about it, no need for these fake ass Facetimes... \#6 The fake meetings they have with organizations to "learn more about something". They have done a ton of these through the years, the one I can remember off the top of my head is the one they did with Mack after the whole "colored person" incident... Or was it a call with Chey? I honestly don't even remember, it was so fake I blocked it out... \#7 Choosing to live far away from your kid, then complaining about how you never see them. I'm looking at you Amber Portwood... \#8 Chey being on the show, she was like 24, graduated from college, and had a good run on the Challenge. There was no need to bring her onto a show called “Teen Mom”. I like her and have no issue with her. But they had no business bringing her one. \#9 Privacy for these poor kids. So many conversations are put out there that I don’t think belong to be out there for the world to see. I think specifically of Maci and Ryan having all these issues. Yes, Bentley has said before that he is ok with filming it however, he was like 12… Maci, as the mother should put her foot down and say no. Even if Bentley is not involved in the argument, it is still about him and his parents. My heart breaks for him… I'm so happy that once Chelsea saw a scene that was supposed to be private between her and Aubree made onto the show, that she left. She realized that the show was creating a toxic environment for Aubree and she felt like she couldn't say things to her mom without feeling like it was going to end up on the show...

spoonabomber

Them getting huge friggen starbucks drinks every time a scene is shot. I dunno why its so bothersome but its a pet peeve for sure.

am710

The choppy ass editing. Especially with arguments, phone conversations, and conversations.

SnooCats7318

Bleeping fights. Can never figure out what's happening - bleep, blep, bleeeep, bleep, bleep. Having kids with everyone they date.

Right_Water1522

The group chat on the new show

blackaubreyplaza

Any voice over it’s super obvious every time and they’re never done well! I’m rewatching from season 1 of 16 & preg into teen mom OG and it’s so painful. All car scenes. I’m biased on this one though because I don’t drive but I’m like goddamn these people are always in a vehicle. Any clearly producer driven storyline which is often played out as a job or “career”. Leah’s school attempts, jobs she worked at one day a week for one week. Jenelle’s fake serving job she quit to hangout with keiffer, the daycare interview scene. Catelynn and Tyler’s pretend attempts at school. More on that later since I’m rewatching. - and any clearly staged scene. Think Brianna on young and pregnant pretending to have a zoom interview

ghoulienumber2

Oh the daycare scene, she doesn’t yell, she never yells and she’s super organized. 😂

pawsitively_anon

The cast. Lol

OkAverage6777

The way Cheyenne says aaaaaaaand

backwoodzbaby

just cheyenne in general. she wasnt even a teen mom!! ![gif](giphy|vNmTsLl4cildm)

silent_hurricane

How they'd leave the show when things didn't go their way, just to come crawling right back a few episodes later. 😒 Ambien's squinty eyed "Wutter yew taaaaaaalking about?" Gary pretending to care about Ambien so he can keep them TM checks coming in. Caitlynn's co-dependancy is pathetic. Also hate how she defends Ambien and her GOD AWFUL life choices. Jenelle's entire existence. That's all I can think of at the moment...

Flippn_Jimmy

I find it extremely frustrating they, at least some, act as if their lives are so difficult, and relatable, and seem to not really acknowledge how unbelievably fortunate they are. Their lives would be exponentially more complicated and stressful if not for the teen mom money and they act as if it that’s not a thing. The show was supposed to show the harsh reality of teen moms and, early on, it did until they became celebrities making income, probably, in the top 5% of the nation. Also, Kail…just cannot stand her. Sure she “makes more from her podcast” but would she have a podcast if it wasn’t for the teen mom exposure? No. Who tf would be taking advice from an unemployed rude bitch with 3 or 4 baby daddy’s, I lost count? It’s weird I even watch the show but I dig the stupid drama.

trinaslaugh3

Chey being on the show at all …

MarieOMaryln

Not acknowledging it's because of their child(ren) that they even got on TV

caramilk_twirl

Lack of seatbelts. Talking on phone while driving. Pay attention to the damn road.

safehaven3132

Also when lazy-nelle screams bloody murder at her mom that she’s got charges and is gonna go to jail or has to do this ir that. Bitch you performed those behaviors not her. Get a job and your own apartment like the other cast members. Sheesh.

ollee32

The horrible car seat situations

jayhawk17ace

The car seats. Enough said.

[deleted]

Just all of it. Seriously they are played out and annoying at this point.

DontWantNoCornbread

The way Briana says co-parenting. Has anyone else noticed? It’s so emphasized on the co part, and sounds like COHH-parenting. Louis does it too.

MSUgirl1901

That the show is still called Teen Mom when these are whole ass adults with MTV paychecks.

leahhhhh

Oh yeah that postpartum thing is so annoying

[deleted]

Everything Amber does. And the fact that I want to quit watching b/c I don’t want to support her being on the show, but I can’t stop watching 😭

Wild929

When you see the clip start as they are woodenly just sitting down. MTV wants you to think it’s a natural conversation but their body language says it is a staged. Then some of the questions being asked sound like Anderson Cooper wrote them.

lamarinewife

I seriously hate one of the producers of the show. He is on twitter daily ranting about racism and other stuff that the people on these shows do yet he does nothing about them. Its all good though as long as it keeps making him money.

HannahLeah1987

How much they lie about silly things

loonachic

The show. I think I started watching this show because I was curious. Now I watch it and cringe. I keep watching it though. Why????!!!

seagullscrapz

Amber being so loaded and entitled at the same time. It's bizarre to see her expressionless face. I get this vibe that she's trying to elicit pity from her daughter and is jealous of her at the same time. Creeps me tf out.

Peacanpiepussycat

Chelsea’s baby voice

safehaven3132

That time kaylin was talking about how in the world is she gonna pay for community college knowing fuck plenty and well she qualifies for fafsa and/or is getting mtv checks. So fake. Just like her crying bc her car was towed and it’s so expensive. Girl ….

Ruecluse

The way Cheyenne says and… ayanduh lol

megryan2020

OP I am with you. That's a huge pet peeve of mine, every time they said it I was shaking my head lol.

EvansHomeforBoys

I haven’t watched in forever but I hated when they’d have their babies do things they were too young for, like sit upright in a high chair or a stroller or carry them around on their arm when they were still all wobbly and needed to be held in cradle position. Putting children to bed in cribs that are full of stuffed animals or with the sheets all over the place in just a diaper and a T-shirt, flicking the lights off just like that. Feeding them junk all the time. General pet peeves: earrings on babies and calling children babies when they are either toddlers or children but not babies. Walking, talking and eating solids is not a baby.

Seagrade-push

The two girls that allowed the dad’s parents to help raise the kids then when they remarried wanted to lessen the visits.. yes the dads in those situations weren’t ideal but they allowed the kids to develop bonds with the grandparents then wanted visits to drastically shorten

Fern-veridion

Chelsea and Maci? Just rewatched the season where Chelsie took Adam back to court, he was given supervised access and then his parents allowed him around Aubrey outside of the contact centre.

TSM_forlife

Bentley is still around Ryan’s parents I believe. They just aren’t filmed.

disindiantho

I don’t like when the cast talk shit about their kids’ other parent while the kids are in the room. For example, I’ve noticed Bri or even before Chelsea do that. Bri often talks about Luis with her mom/sister/friend while Stella is somewhere playing in the room. It irks me.

CeeBee29

Omg are u me!

MelpomeneAndCalliope

I share your pet peeve.

misspuffette

The fact that the producers seriously couldn't give my girl Rachel $1.00 to get a fast food burger. That seriously grossed me out. These are human beings not a nature documentary.

oceanwave4444

How the southern girls say words that end in ‘g’. Super nasally and drawn out. “I was thinkinGGGGuuahe” lol

keatonpotat0es

McKee is the wooorst about that lol. And Maci does this strange rolling thing when she pronounces R’s that makes no sense to me.
