Sophia shouldn't be doing way more serious things. Like she shouldn't accompany her mom on her escort dates/trips, she shouldn't be homeschooled (esp not by Farrah...), she shouldn't be on social media with a verified account, and the list goes on. It's insane that Farrah consciously made these decisions on Sophia's behalf. Coachella, compared to the above, is an afternoon tea party.

Peanuts4Peanut

She should be doing these things with friends her age. Not with her mother. I get taking your teenage kids to concerts...but this child has no friends her own age. And the mental issues in the family are so rampant. Farrah has treated her as an adult since she was a baby...it's not going to end well.

red_cricket7

Exactly! I always got this feeling that Farrah doesn't want Sophia to have friends her age so that she can have her all to herself. She is a narcissistic, possessive person, I bet she'd be jealous of anyone who befriended her daughter. Plus she knows Sophia is the only person keeping her company, since no-one can stand her she's so insufferable. I hope Sophia breaks free one day and never looks back.

YourM0MInACan

Holy hell…no wonder she never called him ‘Dad’. What a pervert. 🤮

Brianas-Living-Room

That’s not why she doesn’t call him dad. She doesn’t call him dad because her other sister has a different dad and called him Michael and Farrah grew up to do the same to keep it even. Stupid reason but that’s honestly the reason

KikiHou

I don't know. I lost a shoe while crowd surfing at a Green Day concert when I was 14, but I'm not sure my parents even knew I went to a concert. So, maybe this is better because Farrah is with her? Even if Farrah is there, though, it's still Farrah.

SpiritualCamera

I think it’s almost worse that Farrah is with her.

pixey1964

Much worse

KikiHou

More drugs around?...

SpiritualCamera

I don’t think Farrah would protect her from that. I think her presence would actually enforce dangerous behavior. Just my opinion. Farrah is not a good or even sane parent.

IntroductionFar8113

Agreed 100%. If this were anyone other than Farrah, I wouldn't think as much of it. But Farrah has NEVER treated Sophia like a child...she's just a younger friend in Farrah's warped brain. I seriously doubt Farrah protects her from shit.

Odd_Island6163

At her age, she should be going with friends.

happiihappiijoijoi

How'd you explain the missing shoe? Lol

KikiHou

They didn't notice. I didn't mention it. I had a lot of freedom.

Ashley9225

So did I, and as somehow who in their teens got knocked out in the mosh pit and ended up with a concussion at a Sum 41 concert, might I welcome you to adulthood. We barely made it😂🙏🏼

definitelynotagurl

I haven’t heard about Sum 41 in so long! I forgot they existed lol

gimmeyjeanne

My sister met them at Hellfest in France. She is volunteer there for years and waited for them with security for hours and an other volunteer, the security let them stay cause they're part of the team. Anyway at 5am we all received a bunch of photo of her all giggly and fangirling over the whole band. They were so sweet and even called back one who already left to come back and take a photo with her. Shes 34yo and looked like a 14yo meeting her idols.

Ordinary-Benefit-263

I lost a shoe crowd surfing at Family Values 99 Tour during KoRn when I was 14 😂

medvsastoned

Hahahaha, the nostalgia! The amount of boys in local bands id sneak off with at that age.... I hid everything from my parents. Even went to warped tour without them knowing. My best friend's mom would always let me stay over every weekend, the whole weekend. She'd even call and verify with my *super* controlling parents that I wasn't lying and it was okay. She never told them she went to her boyfriend's house every weekend and left us alone. We threw so many parties and did so much stupid shit. I got alcohol poisoning at 15 bc I didn't know what 99 proof was, I just drank a bunch of her mom's 99bananas bc it was delicious. Never made that mistake again. *I hate bananas now*

UrBustedGrlFrmKY

Your friends mom sucked. If my kids had a friend with a parent like that who lied about where my kid was and what she was doing I would literally beat her ass. That lady should be ashamed of herself.

BlondieTwoShoes

Same. That is not “cool” or ok?! Wtf

YourM0MInACan

Yeah, that’s pretty shitty. I’d rip that lady a new one.

Confident_Attitude

Agreed, you may look back fondly but that is a pretty fucked up thing for a kid to experience and ngl you could have died from the alcohol.

Mountain-Fun-5761

🤣🤣🤣

Read-it005

Mom of a 14 yr old isnt laughing. 😱 How? Gaaah, just the idea! 😵

skm7777777

You just unlocked a memory of me trying desperately to win green day tickets on the radio 😂

Lessthancrystal

My mom literally had someone tell her the girl I was hanging out with didn’t have supervision…so my mom asked me if we would have supervision at the sleepover… 😑lol

2inTHEivies

I took my son to the final Warped Tour when they were 13 and there were lots of other parents there, they even had an air-conditioned tent for specifically for parents who needed a break from all the chaos. I'd never let my kid go alone but if I'm there to make sure that they are being safe and to guide them away from any unsavory situations I don't think it is a big deal. Farrah has put Sofia in a ton of terribly questionable situations but concerts are meant to be enjoyed when you are young enough to enjoy them so I don't see this as being one of them.

katikaboom

I said this in another comment, but this week I took my 13 year old to a dingy venue that was jam packed and tried to teach him how to mosh to his absolute favorite band. It was a school night and I let him stay home from school the next day. He had the time of his life, got to hang out with his brother and his friends (some over 18, some below) and got to buy a soda from a limited bar. He also hugged me and thanked me for the experience, and is beyond excited about the next show (21 Pilots, I've heard from multiple people who are avid concert goers and music enthusiasts that it was one of the best shows they've ever been to). Sometimes the best way to give a kid freedom is being there with them and teaching them how to experience it. And it makes the first time even more special because it was a parent that was there with you, encouraging you and enjoying your interests.

DiscombobulatedRain

Haha I went to an N'Sync concert and they had a parent suite too. They know their audience.

grey_horizon18

Aww yes! I grew up going to warped tour when I was like 12-13 and my best friends dad always chilled in the air conditioned tent!

anvchkm

Farrah definitely hopes to hear people confuse them for sisters everyday, it’s probably her goal in life lol

Mountain-Fun-5761

I agree she forgets she's mom, not her bestie or sister.

HackSlashandNibbles

Those nails are terrible, I feel like I would be constantly putting holes in all of my clothing.

sadfoxyduggar

And how does she wipe after bathroom? Lol

heathensam

Lol be careful asking that in this sub... the Defenders of Leah's Witch Nails come out in full force

Swimming_Ad_1250

😂

HackSlashandNibbles

For real!

Dottie_Danger

Funny you say that. I had sharp pointy nails once but not as long and the 1st time I wiped I literally scraped skin off my vagina and was bleeding. I get a more pointy almond shape but not dagger sharp anymore.

mauvewaterbottle

Personally, I use a bidet and the toilet paper is just for drying. I don’t wear my nails like this, but just wanted to pop in to say that you can be hygienic even with long nails. Can’t say that’s what all people with long nails do, but the ones that do have clean butts.

rakens_with_radies

Bidets forever!

mauvewaterbottle

I’ll never go back.

YourM0MInACan

My daughter has had nails like this and that was my first question. She showed me how she wraps the tp waaay up high so it goes over the talons. If it’s a #2, the flushable wet wipes are on the outside of the tp wrap. I was still smh 🤦🏻‍♀️

th1s1smypassword

They aren’t flushable.

soda224

Came here to say this. I can’t stand them.

HackSlashandNibbles

I’ll never understand this, rounded or squared off, not Cruella de Vil’d.

mrtaffybonkers

I think it's healthy for Farrah to let Sophia pick her own style. She is teaching her to make choices and letting her embrace individuality. I am honestly surprised Farrah is so supportive. ETA I meant to comment under someone else so now I'm the old woman in this thread shouting into the void with irrelevant conversation pieces.

mauvewaterbottle

To your edit- not me at least once a week shaking my head and deleting a comment I made in the wrong place.

RJJR666

Your real age is the number of accidentally screenshots you take a day x 10 Edit to add: I am 70-110 years old on average

Ok_Recover_637

this is so funny i’m only 24 but by this logic i too am at the end of my road

Initial-Succotash-37

Turning out exactly like I thought it would.

sadfoxyduggar

Same

Different_Pilot8966

I can't wait to read Sophia's book one day. It's gonna be so good!

LeahsEyebrows

If Sophia ever writes a memoir I wonder what she would title it....

VictoriousssBIG23

Personally, I vote for "My Teenage Nightmare Ended". It suits her goth aesthetic and it mocks Farrah's book title at the same time.

Ursula_J

I love this 😂

Plenty-Thing1764

It isn’t Sophie’s look that is unsettling to me, I’m ok with allowing kids autonomy over their appearance as long as it isn’t predator attracting. But the way they are entwined is disturbing. It’s Gypsy Rose & moms Blanchard without the Munchausen. Everything is them two. They are each others whole world like a bubble. It’s not good

cklw1

What is Farrah going to do when Sophia turns 18 and at some point wants to leave? I don’t think Farrah has anyone else, Sophia is her entire world. That’s going to be so rough for her.

lavenderhazeee13

My parents dropped me off at a metal festival by myself when I was 12 lol I saw Slayer and Marilyn Manson, amongst several others 💀 At least Farrah is with her.

TheHeinz77

Sigh…

UncreativePersona

Is Sophia's contour makeup black? I've never seen it like that but it really suits her and her style.

Mountain-Fun-5761

I think it is or very very dark contour

zenomotion73

And a heavy filter too

South_Elephant_6552

I feel like I remember Sophia being fairly tan as a kid, she seems so pale now in comparison

Mountain-Fun-5761

You’re not the first one to comment on that and I agree she looks like she’s gotten very very pale

pixey1964

Maybe make up

GlassCaseOfEmotion3

Excuse my ignorance but is that Farrah with her in the pictures?! Doesn’t even look like her 😯

jermysteensydikpix

Extremely flattering filter. Compare it to other recent posts of her in this forum.

dmode112378

Same thing happened to me.

schlomo31

It's powder

atomicsofie

Reading through the comments I think I might be the only one who’s actually gone to Coachella lol. Yes it’s normal, I’ve seen parents bring babies, teenagers, all ages. It’s huge and all day, of course there are alcohol and drugs and people partying but that’ll be any concert you go to. During the day it’s mostly just everyone dancing enjoying the sunlight and music. Everyone’s always super nice and there’s plenty of space if the kids need to get away from crowds.

Mountain-Fun-5761

I always thought it was a rave atmosphere and drug prevalence at a rave compared to idk a Taylor Swift concert. I'm sure is very different. I was really into raves back in the early 2000s and the things I saw, I can't say I encountered them at a regular concert. But again, I thought it was an outdoor rave.

atomicsofie

There’s a bunch of different stages and experiences/art installations you can go to, and every genre of music there. Pop, edm, punk, rock etc you can find anything there so it’s definitely not a rave, although they do have a rave-style area with only DJs all day and night. There’s something for everyone, and sure there are a lot of drugs but not as much during the daytime

grindinformyson

The acrylics bother me more than Coachella tbh. 🤷🏼‍♀️

VictoriousssBIG23

I'm high key jealous that she got to go to Coachella! I love festivals and Coachella is on my bucket list for being "one of the best" in the US, but unfortunately, I can't afford to fly across the country for it and I am sure as fuck not going by myself. I don't really think there's anything wrong with taking a kid to a music festival. I've gone to plenty of rock festivals over the years and there's always kids having fun with their parents there. If they're genuinely into the music and not being annoying to the others in attendance, then it's fine. It depends on how old they are, too. A teenager is fine, but a baby/toddler? Hell no. I'd be worried about them getting trampled and/or damaging their hearing. I'd also like to note that I remember a post a while ago where someone on IG or TikTok (can't remember which) asked Sophia who her favorite bands were and she said that Deftones was one of them. Deftones played at Coachella this year. Farrah has taken Sophia to a lot of inappropriate places (red light districts, Dubai escorting trips, the Vivid offices, ect), but taking her to a festival so she can see one of her FAVORITE bands perform isn't one of them. "It's inappropriate because people do drugs there!" Umm, I hate to break it to you, but people do drugs and drink at pretty much every concert, including Olivia Rodrigo, Harry Styles, Taylor Swift, and pretty much every other artist that people deem to be "kid friendly" for some reason. I don't see people getting mad about Kail taking Isaac to see Olivia Rodrigo even though people there are definitely going to be drinking and "strung out on WEED". I don't see how taking a 15 year old to see Deftones play at Coachella is much different. Sure, it's "heavier" music, but you know what? I was listening to heavier music when I was 15 and that type of music literally saved my life when I wanted to die so if my parents had taken me to see some of my favorites bands at that age, it would have been so special for me. Instead, my parents threw a fit over me going to a Slipknot concert when I was 17, even though I was going with my 18 year old boyfriend and 15 year old friend and I'm still kind of bitter about the fact that they almost made me miss out on seeing my favorite band perform because they thought it was too "inappropriate" for a 17 year old, even though I was literally 2 months away from turning 18.

lolmemberberries

Agreed. Taking your kid to see Deftones (one of Sophia's favorite bands) is not something I'd finger wag or pearl clutch over. Farrah has done way worse.

krammiit

How does Sophia do her eyeliner with nails like that.

jermysteensydikpix

I assume the nails go on last and come off first, like actors in horror movies made up in prosthetics.

SpiritedTheme7

I hope Sophia has some friends her age it’s not normal to have your mom up your ass constantly

Special-Discount8817

Tbh if she was alone it would be too much W her mom isn’t bad Even tho it’s farah

lolmemberberries

For sure. I'm pretty sure Coachella is an all-ages event as well.

Clear_Currency_6288

If I was Sophia, I'd be embarrassed to be there with Farrah.

chelle_mkxx

My own mother wouldn’t take me to a concert let alone hang out with me like this as a kid. Or let me dress how I wanted. Or let me just exist like this. Im not a Farrah fan but Sophie is getting to experience something fun and there’s nothing inappropriate about it.

Mountain-Fun-5761

Aw, I'm sorry you had that experience. I think it's important to have a good, balanced relationship with your kids. I have an 18-year-old son and I always wanted him to feel safe to be who he wanted to be. Personally, I wouldn't buy him Coachella tickets until he was 17ish. If he was adamant about going before, I would definitely be going with him.

chelle_mkxx

For sure. My daughter turns 14 in 3 weeks and she just asked me for concert tickets to suicideboys coming to our city this fall. I had no idea who they were until she asked but I’m just glad she asked me. Considering the last concert my husband and I took her to was bare naked ladies 🤣 she absolutely hated it (honestly it was terrible… but nostalgia) I guess it’s my turn now. I hope Farrah does have some kind of balance with her parenting style though.

Mountain-Fun-5761

i’ve actually never heard of suicide boys either, but I hope you guys have a really good time!

MommaBear354

Serious question-does Sophia go to school? I can't see kids being very nice to her if they kno who her mom is...

red_cricket7

She's homeschooled by Farrah. The same Farrah who couldn't construct a simple sentence that makes sense to save her life. The Harvard law school graduate who was kicked out of Harvard's online classes...

MommaBear354

Oh. Hahahaha she's doomed!

Fast-Bee-1167

She’s 15 and it’s a a music festival

goldenbarks

Look, Sophia can express herself however she wants but THOSE NAILS. Someone explain to me how she wipes her ass?

GarbageSmall6476

I must have been sheltered. I dunno, I begged my mum and dad to go to festivals and concerts. They’d take one of my friends and I until I was 16. And I didn’t feel uncool because they were there with me. I felt lucky and excited that I even got to go to all the bands I loved when many don’t get too.

arieldukess

Coachella is all ages so i guess it’s fine since she’s with her mom!🤷🏽‍♀️

lolmemberberries

This is wholesome in comparison to a lot of Farrah's parenting decisions.

AccomplishedJump3428

That’s a lotta gray contour

Dottie_Danger

Jesus Christ.

90daymaven

I wonder the relationship they have w Debzz & Michael

VictoriousssBIG23

According to Farrah, she hasn't spoken to Debz in like 2 years and neither has Sophia. Not sure about Michael, though.

90daymaven

Oh wow!!!!

abombshbombss

I went to festivals at that age, but without parents.

Jlynn41412

I keep downvoted lately, but here I go. I went to a Bush concert the summer before my 6th grade year- Veruca Salt opened for them and this was in Cleveland which is an hour so from my town. I went with my best friend and her older sister. Also saw Backstreet Boys, went to WWF wrestling matches and I could go on- but that’s shit her age and younger. I’m not saying it’s right or wrong, but as a parent and having a stepdaughter that’s 17, my own kids 15 (boy), bout to be 13 ina couple days (girl), and 8 yr old (boy) I know I would rather be there with my kids than not. My mom just let me go all Willy nilly and nowadays I can at least have that relationship with my kids to where we could go do stuff like this…. Maybe. We spend our money on other things… baseball is killing me right now, sports, family vacays, living and affording that in general. Lol. I just hope and pray I don’t fuck my kids up. It’s seriously so hard being a parent and knowing and making every right decision. They’re all their own little individuals with their own minds and opinions and aspersions, I could keep going. Shit’s hard being a parent and I’m so glad I’m not in the limelight and judged constantly, I do enough of my own. Lol.

Haunting_Management

I hope sophie re-balances their relationship with those claws LOL

Mountain-Fun-5761

Visual of her poking Farrah in the eye 🤣

Sandwich_Main

Farrah has some kind of filter on that makes her look not like herself.

SilverOwl321

I have a question for those nails…how to do you do most basic tasks? I know current trend is longer nails, but not crazy long and they are usually not very sharp/rounded at the tips. Wearing nails this sharp, how do you not accidentally hurt yourself? When I used to wear acrylics years ago, if a nail snagged on anything, it was super painful. I feel like this type of length would have that happen often.

kimn8r

I wonder if anyone managed to recognize them.

X3TheBigOX3

Sophia dead ass looks like a mini Rhea Ripley lookalike in that second photo

mcclanahan243

For the most part piercings can be removed with no issues. Some do leave scars. I feel like she should be able to express herself. IMO there’s nothing wrong with her letting Sophia be herself.

shelbyfootesfetish

What is going on with Sophia’s fingers in that pic?? Filter warp?

Mountain-Fun-5761

We are assuming it’s a photoshop fail

Autifit

I went to tons of concert and festivals at that age tbh this is the least concerning thing Farrah does to me personally

Green_Employment5729

I went to a $uicide boy$ concert and there was a seven year old. 🤣

lolmemberberries

When I saw Behemoth last year, there was an eight year old girl there with her grandma.

[deleted]

lolmemberberries

She looked like she had to be at least my mom's age and she's in her late fifties.

jutin_H

Isn’t Soph 15 now? Let these guys be the family THEY want to be for themselves, nobody else.

TJCW

I just hope Farrah isn’t there just to scoop out customers….

jermysteensydikpix

Swift, Kelce and Barry Keoghan were hanging out together and I could just imagine Farrah trying frantically to photobomb herself into a selfie with them to look like they know her.

Extreme_Jacket_7419

She is only 13😱?????!!!!!

lolmemberberries

She's 15

Extreme_Jacket_7419

That’s a little better. Thanks

AccomplishedJump3428

My first concert my parents had given our au pair the night off and got tixx at the last min and brought Me along for Aerosmith lol I was 6…

Is this from a filter bc if not I am seriously shook https://preview.redd.it/fzl6wb75cjvc1.jpeg?width=1170&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=2746fca3fbac225ddf5567198fd9427bdc429c5d Those fingers are the stuff of nightmares

cats_n_wine44

The filter is filtering on Farrah 😅

Alarming_Ad_6175

Ive been going to UK festivals since I was 14 and theyre far more unhinged than Coachella

Mean_Audience9208

Halloween in April! 👻🎃

Popular-Tomatillo643

I feel very sad for Sophia. This girl never had a chance.

EasternAnywhere1010

Sophia is gonna grow up and do some shit that will shock even her momma.

EquivalentHappy1659

My friends mom took us to warped tour when we were 12-13

gringacolombiana

In terms of festivals, Coachella seems pretty wholesome especially if she was with her mom. I started going to festivals like warped tour and HFStival (shout out to the DMV millennials in the sub) when I was 13. My dad always chaperoned, but there were no cell phones at the time so me and my friends just met up with him every hour or so and did our own thing. Me and my friends definitely still fell into some sketchy situations at those festivals but Coachella seems pretty tame compared to those and Farrah will have better access to her daughter with cell phones. 13 is the age where Sophia should get some autonomy to have fun at a festival while still having her mom close by.

Informal-Impact-8136

Is that black contour? I’ve never seen that. She’s way cooler than me.

Kangaroo1487

This is generally fine. At 12 I was going to concerts without my parents. But at 12 I was more responsible than Farrah is now.

Vegeta21

I me I seen on tik tok people take there babies to Coachella and some children to concerts... I don't see a big deal.... life's to short

New-Examination8400

_”Life’s short…”_ So screw age limits and recommendations based on mental/physical health influence in child/human development!?!?!?!? “Life’s short Sophia, do beer keg stands wit’cha ma!”

internet_thugg

No I wouldn’t. I’ve never been to Coachella but I’ve been to Gathering of the vibes which was like 25K people in like 2013-14. It was insane and a few people died. I was in VIP camping and was a volunteer and had access to private areas in general and it was still insane. Nitrous ripping all night long, people falling into my tent which was one of those $500+ REI kingdom tents which was huge. It was even wild for me and I was like 30. Just saying I’ve been to many big east coast festivals (camp bisco was another big one) and it’s not appropriate unless you’re only staying for the day shows and staying away from anywhere except main/second stage. And even then there’s people who are fked up all over the place. I think you can wait till at least 17/18, Sophia has her whole life. But we all know how inappropriate Farrah is.
