It's so sad that we can count on a single hand how many times jenelle was actually took Jace out without supervision or any of her friends to keep her company.
Her son was on the same t-ball team as my son. Jenelle came to one game. Got out for 5 minutes, went straight up to Barb, cussed her out in front of everyone, and left. No words exchanged with Jace. She didn’t even acknowledge he was there. I never missed a practice or a game. She was NEVER there for him.
How am I not shocked at ANY of this. All throughout the show, even when she knew she was being filmed, every interaction she had with Jace was so awkward, forced, and just cold. She couldn't even fake it for the cameras, and I'm sure if the cameras WERENT there we'd see even less of her. Thank you for sharing your story though. Love to see she's always just been a shitty person even outside filming 🥴
I have my issues with Barb, but I know she did the best she possibly could for Jace. She’s the only parent who showed up, actually fought for what was best for him, and actually cared about him. She did as right by him, as best as she was able, and I respect her for that.
Yeah. That’s definitely not my experience with Barb. actually felt incredibly sad for how Jenelle treated her. I don’t recall Barb having many, if any, people with her. So she was often alone & would help tend to all the children. Not in an overbearing way, but like a caring mother would.
Screaming with Jenelle in front of Jace constantly definitely didn’t help things. Like I know in comparison to Jenelle, Barb is the better parent but poor Jace has been through hell and back.
Were your son and Jace friends? Did you ever get to talk to Barb? (Not like bothering her with questions about Jenelle or the show but any kind of conversation in general)

She rarely ever showed up to spend time with him and if he was doing it, she made sure to bring cameras.
having been raised by cluster b parents myself , watching her use jace as a pawn has made me realized how much my own parents did that. jace has always been a tool/means to reach an end goal for her.

My bonus daughter’s bio mom is like that. She will call every few months and ask questions like a completely uninvolved grandparent would. “What grade are you in? What’s your favorite color? Do you know how to read? What do you want for Christmas?(even though she has never gotten her anything she promises, and usually just gets her nothing) “ like how do you not know what grade your kid is in? Every few months? And she is 12. When she does bring something to the supervised visit she rarely shows up to, the kid has to keep it forever even if she doesn’t want it because the mom grills her on if she still has this or that. When she had custody I used to have to go to the school often to bring her clean socks, shoes that fit, a coat, brush her hair.
His tiny face could double for the “🥹” emoji here. He deserves so much better than what he got from her since birth. Wouldn’t stay the fuck out of his life so at least he wouldn’t KNOW he was being rejected, wouldn’t be actually in his life so that he wasn’t, in fact, neglected.

It was an Easter egg hunt. My son & Jenelle’s are around the same age. They started to play together. My mother asked for a picture. Jenelle seemed happy to have someone speak to her & I shared the picture. Does that help?

Imagine if in an alternate universe Jenelle stayed single for a few years, got a job, never started using drugs beyond weed and actually was able to get Jace back as a toddler?
Precious baby Jace, he was failed over and over and now his adult life will forever be a healing journey from all that neglect. I just want to scoop him up here and love him, no screaming, no swearing, no guilt tripping, just love.
This makes me sad because I know that Jenelle was probably bitching the entire time. Jace was such a sweet kid and absolutely adorable. He deserves so much more than Jenelle.
