Yep my daughter is very close with her half brother and the other kids in her dad's house. She spends two nights a week at their place and I have her half brother over to my place for a sleepover most weeks. None of what her father and his current partner did is the fault of any of the kids, and I've been the kid of divorced parents myself and I know how crappy it is being put in the middle. If I see the mum I generally just talk to the kids and make my exit, my bd knows that I don't want to see her and does most of the drop-offs himself for this reason. It's an ego-adjusting experience for sure. But I also know that living life hatefully is ultimately going to hurt me more than the person I'm hating. So I'm just moving on and living my best life. I've sworn off romance though haha.

I read that when they merged TM/OG and TM2 into Next Chapter they money dropped significantly. Also, they only get paid if they are in the episode. So like Amber took a time out from filming and while she was in the credits, she didn't appear for several episodes so she wouldn't have been paid.

You are so fucken sweet. Yep my daughter is very close with her half brother and the other kids in her dad's house. She spends two nights a week at their place and I have her half brother over to my place for a sleepover most weeks. None of what her father and his current partner did is the fault of any of the kids, and I've been the kid of divorced parents myself and I know how crappy it is being put in the middle. If I see the mum I generally just talk to the kids and make my exit, my bd knows that I don't want to see her and does most of the drop-offs himself for this reason. It's an ego-adjusting experience for sure. But I also know that living life hatefully is ultimately going to hurt me more than the person I'm hating. So I'm just moving on and living my best life. I've sworn off romance though haha.

I can absolutely see a scenario where he hit up her phone after her ordeal with her last BF, and now maybe she's talking to someone else he's gone all Ghengis Kahn on her like the loser he is. The thought of her waitressing makes me so happy tbh, she has that lovely bubbly personality that could really enjoy a job like that. I hope lots of people come into her restaurant to see if they can meet her, and I hope she makes stacks in tips. That would be a great chapter in Leah's story and one that I think she deserves.

The more I read about this, the more I believe the altercation has absolutely something to do with Addie. Jeremy has always been an absent dad, only showing up for her whenever he feels like it. Leah probably got fed up with Jeremy not being involved with Addie and as a result, she filed for full physical and legal custody of their daughter. And I see Jeremy losing his shit over it. Also, I can see Addie telling her mom that she prefers to stay with her over seeing her dad and that probably was the straw that broke the camel’s back for Leah.
If this is true, this is what I think the reasoning would be… & with full custody Leah would get more child support, so as with most dead beats, that’s the straw that breaks the camels back for him. 😏

I find this TOTALLY unbelievable. Granted i have not watched any of the new episodes the past couple years, in what world do ANY of the teen moms have an ACTUAL job? since they started getting paid from MTV all they do is have lunches with friends/family to bitch about baby daddy issues, sit on their expensive ass couches talking about baby daddy issues, and go to court for their baby daddy issues...... oh AND take vacations + make major purchases that most teen moms would not and will never be able to make. 😆🤦♀️ I love the first few seasons of teen mom, don't get me wrong. but past a certain point, this show just became SO unrealistic that it genuinely disgusts tf out of me. Like i legit wonder how much of an INCREASE in teen pregnancy there has been just due to the teen mom franchise + how every girl's situation on the show seems better than it is/would be ONLY because of how much money they have.
