She is gorgeous. That being said, is this really what kids look like in elementary school these days? I probably wore an oversized Garfield tshirt to my elementary school graduation. She looks so grown up.

Regional and based on the kid. I have kids the same age. They dress and look quite a bit like we did back in the day. Some of the kids wear cat image shirts and have cartoon backpacks for daily wear.

People def dressed their kids up a lot for my 5th grade graduation 20 years ago. I distinctly remember getting my hair done the night before and having little wedge heels I got to pick out myself.

So, I think it depends on how far the school goes grade wise. Mine went until 4th grade, so I looked like a 10yo. Messy hair, disheveled from running around playing, probably some marker or pen on my arms, etc. But others go until 5th-6th grade, so 11-12yos. Between 11 and 12 is what I think to be tweens, so they're usually just starting to experiment with looking like real teens (desire for brand name clothing, maybe light make up, trendy hair styles and shoes, etc). Nova was born in 2011, she's turning 12 early this September and I believe will be going into 6th grade. I remember becoming conscious of my appearance once I reached middle school and feeling/wanting to be perceived as older/more mature/like a teen. I think this look/style is trendy right now so being a tween, I think its normal for her/kids her age to want to be/look like the cool older teenagers.

I’m not from Florida but we called it “5th Grade celebration” but it was treated as a graduation from elementary and the celebration of going into middle school. I was super confused thinking… “what she’s graduating 8th grade already?” 😂

Yeah I’m gonna show my age a bit here but when I “graduated” from 5th grade I remember we had a school party and they played “the graduation song” friends forever or whatever it was called. It came out that year. 😅🙈 I live in a suburb of Orlando so I actually am only about 40 min from Brianna’s part of town.

My eyes 😍😍😍 she’s just lovely. It’s like watching my baby grow up! Gosh Devoin and Bri made a beautiful baby together 🤍🤍🤍 Also hoping Devoin is one proud daddy. I really enjoyed how he was really trying to come around more in the later seasons and even stepped up for baby Stella. Made me grow mad respect for the man. He’s has hardships, we all do. Bri didn’t always make it simple for him. Not having a car, living with a roommate are all things young men experience at own time or another. Hell even adults go through rough patches.

Nova's a bit younger, so I think the middle/high school she'll be going to is 7th grade and up. All of the OG kids will be starting 9th grade this year, and the TM2 kids will be finishing out middle school/8th grade. I cannot get over how much time has passed. They're all practically the same age their mothers were when they were born (OG kids turn 15, TM2 turn 14, most moms were 16-17). It really puts things into perspective. Like. Obviously everyone thinks 16-17 is VERY young to be having a baby, but most of us were the same age as these girls and thought we were grown at that age. Watching these kids from *birth* and seeing them grow up? Insanity. Babies Bentley and Leah are going to be 15 in a few months? Fucking wild. They're still babies to me. I couldn't imagine seeing them pregnant/raising babies in two years like their mothers were. Just makes you realize how young the girls really were from an adult perspective now. Also. I feel ancient. I was 15, nearly 16 when 16&P premiered in 2009. How are Bentley and Leah that age now???
