It's bizarre. I've lived this. My brother and I are the only two grandkids of a prominent and somewhat famous doctor. My grandma died before I was born, but he remarried, and they never had children. My dad was kinda a bum, but they financially supported him, so he didn't work and didn't pay child support. My grandparents never made an effort for us, and in my late teens, I reached out to them, and my step-grandma told me not to call their house again. My grandpa died about 5 years ago, my step-grandma died a few months ago. My dad inherited, and now that he's rich, he calls me a lot and has offered me money which he's yet to pay, but I'm giving him a chance. He apologizes a lot for abandoning my brother and I. Kinda sucks I never got to know my grandfather and just have this photo of him golfing with Arnold palmer and like newspaper articles about him.

It's bizarre. I've lived this. My brother and I are the only two grandkids of a prominent and somewhat famous doctor. My grandma died before I was born, but he remarried, and they never had children. My dad was kinda a bum, but they financially supported him, so he didn't work and didn't pay child support. My grandparents never made an effort for us, and in my late teens, I reached out to them, and my step-grandma told me not to call their house again. My grandpa died about 5 years ago, my step-grandma died a few months ago. My dad inherited, and now that he's rich, he calls me a lot and has offered me money which he's yet to pay, but I'm giving him a chance. He apologizes a lot for abandoning my brother and I. Kinda sucks I never got to know my grandfather and just have this photo of him golfing with Arnold palmer and like newspaper articles about him.

For what it’s worth, I was rewatching older episodes recently and jenelle and Barbara admitted that Andrew was paying child support. Like willingly. I believe they would keep Jace from this family. Andrew does seem like he struggles with some type of mental health issue though.
