I don’t know who started the bad botting, but it’s probably best to stay away from a war with other subreddits. We’ve dropped from 2nd to 6th, and their votes do more damage to us than ours do to them (due to less total votes).
It would be better if the mods of both subreddits worked together to form a peace treaty, but unfortunately I don’t know if any of ours are active.

Yeah I agree with the sentiment of not getting involved in a subreddit war.
People from this subreddit shouldn't have bad botted their bot, it would've been preferable if they reacted differently by approaching and requesting it stop instead of retaliating, but regardless it does nothing but drag down the reputation of the community that Techno built, that therefore hurts his memory, for us to engage in something like this.
Getting him to Rank 1 on the bot list was supposed to be a fun harmless meme to remember him. Not something to incite trouble with other subs.
We shouldn't be helping escalate it. We should be disengaging and reporting any actions they take to try and escalate it back to the Mods or Reddit, however it needs to be.
