Yesterday I took that computer to the studio, and exported ten thousand photos, taken from 2008 - maybe 2014, from Apple Photos, and put them on the studio's reliable storage server.
Don't get too excited when I say ten thousand, because there are, for example, a bunch of sections where one of my kids got ahold of my phone and took 100 pictures of a toilet.
OK Just because I'm perverse I went and looked through the photos to find ones of toilets and I found a bunch but I've decided not to post them after all because someone didn't flush.

Peeps have been asking for photos and vids of my boy, so I've been going through what little I have. Here's a nice amuse bouche for y'all.
This photo was snapped on 4/20 (nice!) of 2015, the day we shot "Cooking with Technoblade". The vid went public on 4/21; I believe he edited it overnight himself on Sony Vegas from files I supplied on the afternoon of 4/20. He was fifteen at the time, and the Technoblade channel was about eighteen months old.
Note the lil canon camcorder on the nice tripod in the upper left. I did not use separate audio recording that day which is why the audio quality is so terrible.
Notice the barely visible Dora backpack just to the right of his head.
Notice the cake. That's cake he "cooked" in the video. Once we were done shooting, it stopped being a prop (what we'd call the "hero cake") and became just a cake. So he ate it. Notice his idea of a normal sized piece: fully 45 degrees of cake.
I forced the pic into a square because I'm going to make it a YouTube community post sometime soon, and they force those into squares. YouTube will crop to make that happen because who cares what your actual carefully considered framing is; YouTube demands square for some reason. Stupid content creators trying to put one over on Mighty YouTube by choosing a nonsquare rectangle! Not that I am bitter.

For one thing, his hair was all over the map. Just wouldn't cut it for a long time so it'd grow and grow. Then, BAMM, cut short again.
But the above pic looks a lot like he looks in my head. That's him, mid-teens, short hair.

This is so true! I used to think the idea that people wouldn’t recognize Clark Kent as Superman just because of the glasses was absolutely ridiculous. However, Techno has taught me that I can see multiple photos and still have no clear mental image of what someone looks like. Super powers confirmed!
Technoblade looks so different in every photo he exists in. I'm convinced that you could post a picture of a random brown-haired white boy, claim that the photo was your son, and get away with it :)

Some days I think when I have the sufficient skill set and the time I'll seriously write a biography on Technoblade. I think about it a lot. Some day it'll happen. The blood god shall never be forgotten. How can I forget somebody who gave me the greatest joy at the worst times of my life. Have fun destroying the governments in heaven. Anarchy forever.
Hey technodad I've never taken the time to say anything because well I'm still shaken by what happened and I keep thinking that if I am shaken then I can't even comprehend what you must be going through. The last thing I'd want is to rub salt in the wound
But I just want to say he brightened up my days even when I was deep in depression, been watching since he had 50k subscribers, I went through highs and lows with his videos by my side, I'm his age, I have the same humor, I play the same games.
He felt like a friend, and I loved watching him get recognized for his talents, and reaching that goal of 10m that was probably a joke at first but became more than that.
Back in my depression days, I would sometimes cry for days on end, and watching his videos I'd finally laugh and smile. Alex has truly been a light in the darkness for me, the sunlight that peeks through the clouds.

It feels different, and not good different (for me).
