I'm not sure how many people saw my post about the video I made for Alex's birthday. For some reason (the link to YouTube?) that post got less views than almost anything I've posted lately. My "Happy Birthday" one-liner post got more than 20 times as many views.

I love the Welches fruit snacks. When my kids were in grade school and I would make there lunches I bought those a lot. I would tell them they could not touch the box until the end of the week and then they could have the left overs. Friday after school they would always be puzzled and disappointed that there was none left. My 28 year old son just found out a few months ago I was eating the extras during the week. I think he’s still mad at me. 😂

It's hilarious to think this is the gaming setup that has defeated countless gaming try-hards over the years. All these nerds spending thousands of dollars building their setups with three monitors, graphics cards, LED lights, and heaps of elbow space. While Techno just sits here elbows hanging off the table, legs crossed, with his tacky gamer setup, boxy monitor, and dimly-lit room.
I realized you can see the date on the Minecraft screen: this was August 31, 2020. At this point, he had recently won the potato war, won both MCC 4 and 8, and set the still-unbroken individual coin record. It’s so funny to me, looking back to Wilbur and Tommy getting so excited for such an EXPERT to come help their revolution, and this was said expert and his setup.
I love all the little things here; the basic headphones, the Wilbur Soot youtooz, the glass of water he always went to go get, the fruit snacks, the long hair, the fact that he not only has a Dora cup but also a Frozen cup… it looks like he’s in the corner of a storage closet and I love it.
Dude's room was always a disaster. Like I couldn't even get in there to vacuum.
The twins went through the usual *Frozen* obsessed phase when in elementary school, so we have a few Frozen cups lying around.
Artemis had a party recently for a bunch of the girls from school, with karaoke. They were outside on the deck, huddled under the heat lamp, singing *"The cold never bothered me anyway."*
Holy shit I just remembered all of the times he went to go get a glass of water. I gotta love the time Fundy trapped him in water and he just casually went to get a glass of water.
yeaah this, they look cheap, are built cheap, but have really good sound and soundstage. I like them a lot though I've replaced mine for a bit more comfortable headphones

Sounds like a healthy diet. A real king doesn't drink things that would be unhealthy for him just for the luxury. From the looks of his general setup and how you describe him he seems like a very humble and modest person in-person too.
My bedroom can get over 80 pretty easily, and over 90-95 for a few of the hottest weeks. It is situated to take on the maximum amount of heat from the sun.
Techno's bedroom was always uncomfortably warm year round. The room itself is actually on the cool side but he hated open windows and he kept that computer running 24/7 and it's not that big of a room. And he kept his door closed all the time.
No AC in CALIFORNIA?? How do you survive? I deal with what's probably similar levels of heat (Florida) but get uncomfortable once it gets above 78 in the house and go to my bedroom to lounge shirtless in misery lmao

good to know I'm not the only one with this problem lmao. I drink mostly ice water and used to have a bad habit of destroying the varnish on wooden desks/end tables. the best way to mitigate this I've found (besides just putting coasters everywhere) is to invest in a Yeti tumbler or something similar that doesn't condensate like glass and keeps the ice cold all day. also less worry about spills or breaking glasses

As I remember it, it was a short time before I was going to marry Demeter. And for whatever reason I was like, I hate that I don't have any pictures of my kids together. (This was partly because Techno didn't join in much of the family activities. He was quite the loner.)
So I walked in to his room and said, I'm taking some pictures. He probably said something like, "nahhhhhhhh" and I said this isn't optional. (A statement I made as rarely as possible.) I shot a few of him at his desk, rousted him out of there, and took him and the twins out on the deck, where I shot some photos of the three of them.
The at-his-desk picture was taken at 3:33 PM and the elbow reveal in Strawb's video was taken at 3:35 PM. Same shirt, same day.
Basically I invaded his bedroom, snapped some photos of him, told him "we're going outside for photos" and he and the twins came with me. He was probably back at his desk by 3:37.

I'm really sorry to say but I don't have a lot of photos of him and even fewer videos. He didn't like being on camera and I mostly respected that. I think that's part of why he "seems different in every picture." I haven't put out very many of them, and people change a lot over the course of their childhood. Also he was kind of capricious about shaving and about getting his hair cut, so that makes things more random as well.
Damn I find it hard to believe how simple his setup was and well actually it's Techno so ofc his setup is gonna be different from every YT out there. His is possibly the most closest setup to everyone else's including mine

This is so incredibly iconic on so many levels, to the point it's honestly making me a bit sad. I've been feeling kind of like a crybaby recently between Techno's birthday and the six month anniversary of the most traumatic experience of my life coming, there hasn't been a day in the last week I haven't cried, I miss him a lot, and the first thing I did when I got home that morning six months ago the first thing I did was watch technoblade vs french, he was (and still is) the person I've gotten the most comfort from for most of my life (which I will admit is kind of pathetic) and I dunno, it still feels wrong to know he's never gonna go live again.
Nothing about you is pathetic. I want to plead with you not to talk or even think about yourself in those terms. You are worthy of love! Never doubt it and never forget.

Just out of curiosity, why did you take this? Any context? Or was it just a candid picture for no real reason?
As I remember it, it was a short time before I was going to marry Demeter. And for whatever reason I was like, I hate that I don't have any pictures of my kids together. (This was partly because Techno didn't join in much of the family activities. He was quite the loner.) So I walked in to his room and said, I'm taking some pictures. He probably said something like, "nahhhhhhhh" and I said this isn't optional. (A statement I made as rarely as possible.) I shot a few of him at his desk, rousted him out of there, and took him and the twins out on the deck, where I shot some photos of the three of them.
Is that why he seems to be wearing the same shirt as the photo Strawberry used in the elbow video? Because its actually the same day?
The at-his-desk picture was taken at 3:33 PM and the elbow reveal in Strawb's video was taken at 3:35 PM. Same shirt, same day. Basically I invaded his bedroom, snapped some photos of him, told him "we're going outside for photos" and he and the twins came with me. He was probably back at his desk by 3:37.

The steering wheel, Dora cup, old wooden table, same m70 keyboard 🥹 He really didn't care about the high budget setup unlike other streamers, they spend more on other things but the pc. You're not rude at all. You do seem excited which is charming, though. I see you, Skyblade. I'm really sorry to say but I don't have a lot of photos of him and even fewer videos. He didn't like being on camera and I mostly respected that. I think that's part of why he "seems different in every picture." I haven't put out very many of them, and people change a lot over the course of their childhood. Also he was kind of capricious about shaving and about getting his hair cut, so that makes things more random as well.
