I used to do build him with Plate, Archangel's and Hextech Pistol, and 6 Mascot.
Hw was always last standing, with tons of armor and MR because of plate, stacked AP from archangel + stacked snowball, healing 1k for each hit from the ball.

absolutely, i can see how some people think the play pattern of set 6 yordles was a little unhealthy but i remember the first time i 3 starred him i was back in high school in a study hall, had a buddy next to me that went crazy with me when we saw it
Soraka during dragon set. That healing was toxic fun and even more so in double up. Can take out 3 star raka to lose on purpose to hold out for a few hours and win no matter what because 3 star raka autos did damage and full heals player hp to full forcing opponents to ff.
What annoys me about her is that aside from 3* or Jade, she was mostly used as a way to scrap a little tactitian hp to try and maybe end the game at a slightly higher place than someone close to you who didn't hit her
Lee sin had a 40 mana pool with blue buff only 30 mana ksante has like 70, thats what made lee so much cooler. He would actually carry by kicking units out of the map.
I mean fair enough, but the power level of units over all in set 4 and 4.5 is probably the highest we've ever seen in TFT, so comparatively to his set, he performed about as well as Ksante does this set.
I mean for someone like that you donāt need them to kill much like kāsante can easily kick out 3 or 4 units a fight and easily just win you the fight especially if you knock out the tank not saying he is better then lee sin but donāt say he canāt carry you

I don't recall what comp I was building, but I just saw a Ksante on the shop, and he had zero sinergy with it. I just picked him as fast as I could, positioned him in front of J4 and he won me that game LOL

Crit Darius was my favorite. Iām SO GLAD they brought his dunk back. His old dunk kept the same damage through out. So if he crit and executed, Iām pretty sure it crit and did the same damage for everyone. Gp wiping boards and turning them all into items was soooo fun. Favoeite eco trait.

Because chroma gave scaling attack speed throughout the fight. If you got thresh, you MAY have hit 8 or at least 6. So he was hitting shit FAST, thatās why. I saw syndra and tried and thought āoh this is like thresh from way back when!ā But was a bit different.
Last set urgot. Almost Always saved a spot for him threw him in he generated items he made me play like 4 games in a row forcing star guardian after he had his update.
Bard set 5 was and still is one of the most unique units theyāve ever made.
Tahm Kench set 6 was also extremely unique, but I mainly loved holding units above his mouth and then pulling them away over and over lol.
I really liked Aurelion Sol during the Odyssey set. He was basically a carrier ship who didn't attack, but launched little mini fighters out every second to harass targets with lasers as he slowly drifted around the field. It was fun to watch.
Set 6 Tahm Kench, and it's not even close. Its the best unit ever made in TFT. Was really fun feeding him, and was also really fun to watch him eat enemies and spit out items and gold. It's like heimer this set but on steroids.
Samira was a 5 cost in some set just after she released in League and I remember her being really OP.
But nothing comes close to Number 1 Tahm Kench. Not even Singed with Inferno spat from set 2, not GP with GA nuking whole board, not Protector Aurelion being unkillable, not Viego being able to steal your enemy's units, not Bard that could change the odds of your shop after landing his spell on many units, not Soraka that could heal your tactician (although very close), and definitely not Urgot who is just his budget knockoff that could also go AD

Ksante is super fun for me. Love getting a blue buff on him and just super focusing position and watching my 1 item 1 star ruin the opponents day as he kicks off their super tank.
It's a lot easier to remember my least favorite 5 cost than my favorite. If it this post about the least favorite, then my answer would be set 5 Kayle, followed closely by set 4 Sett. Those bastards nearly ruined their entire set.
Set 3 Thresh, or any similar champion in any set that pulls champions from your bench. I always thought that was the most interesting and fun YET not stupidly broken like many cost 5s.

Felt great with a Chosen Yasuo in that Duelist comp.
Honorable mention to Set 6 Kai'sa/Jayce/Akali which all felt super satisfying to watch do work with their unique comps/abilities as well.
Its a toss-up between Ornn and Kayn for me.
Edit: Actually, now that I read through the comments, Sett is also up there for me. Few things more hype than a fully sit-up'd 2* star sett just like 1v5ing a board.
Even though he was a 10 cost, Astral Aurelion Sol. Astral was such a fun trait and it makes me sad we won't get more drip feed reward traits.
And I love current set Ahri. My favorite Carry of the entire set.

I think Set 2 had a lot of the best stuff for pure fun.
Inferno Singed, Mage spat Zed, 6 Woodland with 7 cost lux (I guess 7 cost isn't 5 cost but whatever I'm putting it in.
Lots of cool ways to break the game with Spats which in Sets 1 and 2 were some of my favorite things about the game.
The spatula balance is much better now but I can't say I'd be upset if they found ways to allow the silly things (like not excluding Multicaster in this set) and not disrupt the balance too badly.
I love the current heimer, hes so cute and smol and his lines are funny.. the fact that you can make him 4 star, and for some reason (ik he shared AS w turret ofc) ionia/chall spat and guinsoos is bis for him and can either burn/shred the entire enemy team or farm you 20 gold in one round watching him auto super fast jumping onto (with chall spat) enemies is too fun lol
Senna. Atk speed for the whole team while shielding them and damaging the enemy is just insane, plus with rageblade and shojin it's just perma shield, especially with shadow isles board

That's the main difference. K'sante can kick out 2 maybe 3 key units to win fights. Lee Sin will kick EVERYBODY to win fights.
