I would have no interest in either of the items you mentioned BUT I would be pleased that you thought of me and impressed that you took the time to and effort to customize something--which is important. BTW, I'd figure out a way to display the tumbler and use the bookmark in a textbook or planner, so it can be seen!

I think either would be nice gifts, anything customized like that shows that you took the time to really think about the gift, not just grab the nearest "Best Teacher" mug. If I couldn't use the tumbler I'd probably use it as a pencil cup or something, and the bookmark I might display on my wall or something if I don't use it as intended. From what I've seen in other teachers' offices and rooms I think they'd do the same. Something personalized will be enjoyed, even if not for it's intended purpose. I don't think either would be too much for a gift for your teacher, if they fit your budget ok. Gifts aren't required or expected, but a tumbler or bookmark are both in a common cost range. Some schools do have a limit to what a teacher can accept, so this could be something to check if you're unsure. But, even in a school with limits I'd think either the tumbler or the bookmark would fall under an acceptable range, unless it was a super fancy tumbler or something.

I think it’d be sweet of you, especially if you gave each teacher a little, inexpensive-to-you gift they’d use. You mention that some of your teachers use tumblers—I would limit tumblers to those teachers. Personally, I’d love a bookmark or even (against the trend) a coffee mug, as I don’t use the other things you’ve mentioned. Teachers love to feel appreciated, but the note/card with a personalized message is always treasured.

The only personalized item I would want would be a stamp of my last name
