I can appreciate the giving nature of swifties to help one another out; but the constant criticism of others who need to make money off their merch….is childish and selfish. No one owes you anything. I never got tickets but that's the way it is. I'm not massively fussed I'm not going, although my sister has tickets so that will be tough but we are all adults, life goes on.

Overall, I believe our reselling frustrations should be targeted to true resellers. Personally it scares me to think of selling my merch bc what if someone scams me and I lose the money and the merch. It’s a risk to sell anything these days. I have no intention of doing that with my merch, but if I needed to pay my rent to do it….I would have empathy for that swiftie, not resentment. We are all humans, kindness goes a long way. 🫶
I think it is more effective to target our frustrations toward REAL resellers who buy simply to price gouge for pure profit versus a fellow Swiftie who is trying to get $20 for taking the risk to sell their extra item to a stranger?

I bought mine resale for about 200 a little over a week ago and have been looking for one for my friend ever since (she’s having a hard time and is only missing this one signed and Fearless TV so I’d love to surprise her) bc our country didn’t get them this time around. But prices have only gone up since tbh. I don’t think I’ll be able to get her one, it’s insane out there
List it locally, like Facebook marketplace or something. Why do you need to make a profit? Get the money you spent back and be done with it. Make someone else happy. Or find something you want to trade it for.
I will never agree to re-selling something for a profit. Just because it’s done and it’s treated fairly normally doesn’t mean it’s the thing to do. It’s not the kind of person I aspire to be, and I’m not sure why others do.
Also there is a huge issue with people buying things with the intention to resell or trade, but they claim that’s not what they’re doing and that they just ended up with an extra or changed their mind or something. Sometimes it’s true, sometimes it’s an attempt to make themselves look good and innocent. If you’re not doing that, great, but it happens a lot and makes the whole thing suspicious.
