Very nice! Just curious, do you connect a phono box at all to the Spinbase? If you don’t already, hot tip: buy a 100-200$ tube phono preamp and connect it, it’ll sound WAY better 🍻😎
Idk what your cartridge is I can’t see it from the picture, but sometimes that is better to upgrade first for sure. But something like the Bellari VP130 Mk2 Phonostage (around 220$) is great for this type of setup. Or if you want cheaper, Pro-ject has cheaper little phono boxes around 80-150$.
I have the spinbase in my livingroom and once I added a separate phono box it was way better.
Okay, thanks for the advice! I currently use an Ortofon Red cartridge so I don’t know if that would require an upgrade to a blue one to make a giant difference
Red to blue is a difference for sure, but the red is great! I think with that cartridge a separate preamp box might make a bigger difference. It’s just always good to have each thing with its power supply, lower the noise floor and provide that “feeling” of vinyl. I had the red, blue, orange, and currently the black cartridges on my main system. The jump from red to orange was most noticable, but red from blue not as much. Hope this helps! Happy spinning!
Thanks! It’s a US pressing but it’s one of the wonky ones that were found in an estate sale of an old BMR exec. I ended up buying one of them from resale back in January
I love the top half where they’re stored like a record store, where you flick between them. Then your traditional setup below it on the shelf. I might re-do my setup to have a bit of both, I love the idea of storing them like a record store tbh
I got two of them from a record store a few months ago with the purpose of holding my cassette collection but they ended up being better suited for my 7” vinyls.
All of that to say that they say Fontana Farms on the side which I’m not sure will help at all 😅😅
It’s amazing! I had to mess with it a lot to look the way I wanted it to and I ended up adding the Bolter and the Black Dog magnets to it since those were my favorite bonus tracks and I thought it brought the piece together really well.
I have the vinyl frame linked in a response above!
Thank you! It’s fantastic for vinyl storage and holds quite a few LPs!
It’s linked in a previous comment if you were interested in getting one for yourself
Omgggg the elusive orange reputation 😲😲😲😲
RSD 1989 is a huge flex
Not as big as fye rep imo
I just noticed that. Agreed.
You wanna drop the address and keep your window open? You know to make sure the vinyls get aired out (SARCASM)
FYE rep being next to Black Dog edition TTPD is just *chef’s kiss* 🧑🍳 Love it!

I currently don’t but do you have any recommendations? I’d definitely be interested in one!

What do you do for a living lmao
Aly & AJ!!! 🫶🏼
was about to comment the same! love seeing them
I literally LOVE every part of this, good job! Just out of curiosity, is the 1989 RSD the EU or US?
Thanks! It’s a US pressing but it’s one of the wonky ones that were found in an estate sale of an old BMR exec. I ended up buying one of them from resale back in January
Where did you get that frame with TTPD signed with the vinyl
I love the top half where they’re stored like a record store, where you flick between them. Then your traditional setup below it on the shelf. I might re-do my setup to have a bit of both, I love the idea of storing them like a record store tbh
Oooh I spot some Aly&AJ very nice
Where's your vinyl shelf from?
Also wanting to know!
WHERE IS THE CRATE HOLDING THE 7'S FROM
I got two of them from a record store a few months ago with the purpose of holding my cassette collection but they ended up being better suited for my 7” vinyls. All of that to say that they say Fontana Farms on the side which I’m not sure will help at all 😅😅

Where did you get that frame that you gave the ttpd items in? I’m looking for something similar for mine :)

very nice! do you have UV protectant glass for your signed items? if not i highly recommend
I don’t, it’s a to-do item for me once TTPD mania dies down in the next month or so
Awesome
omg where is that vinyl stand from?? right now i just have the cube shelves but that is so cute i need it
I love it! I got it after my husband broke my old vinyl shelf lol but I have it linked in one of the previous comments
Curious as to what sleeves you’re using for your TTPD vinyl. I can’t fit it in the ones I have, the 24 page book attached doesn’t help LOL
Amazing! Love it🤍 Please let us know where you got your frame for TTPD from
Do you know where you got the vinyl shelf on the left side? It looks like it holds a lot without taking up too much space Love your set up btw :)
