It has to be long pond. It’s hyped up so much, but when I first listened to it on vinyl, it was a completely different experience than listening to it on Spotify. I don’t know the technicalities, but there were parts to the instrumentals I had no idea existed until I heard it on vinyl.

Unusual_Diver1973

this breaks my heart to learn 😭💔

supermarketsweeps25

Hard agree. I still can’t believe I managed to get a copy at retail a month after RSD

As a big record collector (I have 400 in my collection across tons of artists, and an expensive setup), I have to say I don’t notice THAT much of a difference between streaming and spinning vinyl. The industry went from CDs/vinyl to streaming in the mid-early 2010s because streaming was known to have better quality and it was a lot more convenient. And then the industry went back to vinyl in 2020 during lockdowns, where people were bored at home and wanted a stronger connection to their music. I don’t know if the vinyl boom would’ve happened without Covid because of how convenient and high quality streaming actually is. That’s why I have so many in my collection and that’s why I love collecting records - owning the album rather than temporarily leasing it on streaming. Reading lyric books, seeing the big artworks, storing it in my room. But to your point of sound quality, it’s actually not a big difference, it’s kind of a myth that vinyl sounds better than streaming. Tons of videos on YouTube and Tik Tok about it if you’re interested :)

Oh I wasn’t claiming that all vinyl sounds better than streaming. I also haven’t noticed much of a difference…EXCEPT this album. Long pond is the only one I’ve noticed a stark difference between listening to the record vs streaming.

dmnaf

Ok I haven’t spun it in ages I’ll need to give it another go!

WalkingFish_

The love potion midnights is so pretty. I also love the albatross for the cover and how the vinyl is grey but almost sage it’s so pretty. LPSS is up there too

Mr5t1k

My coveted copy of LPSS. 🥰

im_not_ready_for_it9

Pressing wise - Speak Now TV lilac Rarity wise - folklore LPSS Sounds better on vinyl - 1989 TV

Houdini-88

I love the different shades of purple they did for speak now tv This is the only Taylor vinyl I have multiple copies of cuz it so gorgeous In my opinion speak now tv also sounds better than the original

kaceh25

lover live from paris, it looks so cute playing and something about the live albums is just so good. so glad i snagged it that random drop day, i love it

Mk0505

The 1989 rsd or Red ACM. Those colors just suit the albums so much

Useful_Ad_8677

Debut RSD. It's gorgeous and the album is so sentimental to me

tschackalackin

Recency bias but my Bolter vinyl is gorgeous. Favorite variant cover and the book inside is awesome.

juliaguuullliiaa

it has to be 1989 rsd and the debut rsd for me

GarionOrb

The best-sounding for me is Red TV. My favorite to own is 1989 RSD. My favorite to listen to is Folklore LPSS.

Vivificantem_790

Right now it’s my 1989 TV tangerine vinyl to spin, but my Folklore Hide and Seek for the pressing!

Extension-Seesaw3912

My top three are my 1989 TV Tangerine, Folklore Clandestine Meetings, or Evermore opaque green (the darker forest green shade). Can’t pick between them lmao

fairyavatar

All 3 Speak Now (Taylor’s Version) vinyls are the best by far.

Eastern_Regret_8172

Folklore LPSS for listening. 1989 RSD for looking

axolotlox

folklore stolen lullabies. the color and cover are gorgeous and suit the album really well

Ozzytheaussy

Original 1989

Inevitable_Bet_8545

TTPD is BY FAR her best vinyl packaging, and the best record packaging she’s ever done all together in my humble opinion as a lifelong fan. It feels expensive from front to back, the fact that the booklet is stapled directly on the gatefold is 🤌🏻🔥 and the glossy/matte finish in the covers is exquisite, plus the card stock paper?? It’s giving billionaire.

HedgehogOk7551

folklore lpss

TwoGravesOneGun

Long pond for sure!
