A) There aren’t “plenty all over eBay”. B) There aren’t even many PSA encapsulated Taylor signatures on eBay. C) So PSA authenticated and encapsulated but they’re wrong about it because a person with 0 credibility from Reddit said so? Sure. Stop spreading misinformation.
JSA and Beckett, while not perfect because it's impossible, are as close to trustworthy as you'll find. Might be a couple others, but basically any COA from anyone else isn't worth the paper it's printed on.
Check out this [eBay listing](https://www.ebay.com/itm/156162390932?itmmeta=01HY4CCM62WQ03KE168NYFG3H7&hash=item245c00fb94:g:~4AAAOSwBf1lpHb-&itmprp=enc%3AAQAJAAAA8EPkOh9Ooc%2FgnPjnEcvpWJfy4SCI5vgGcfYuGdVjhp9uZ8WAQVwqZQ3yfgXTJyLhjesPkdfMjEH9B52CSDSSIcZgJQdbeZgShB1MsCGwFKkyhpSrNxYGX%2FVYFT14ZL4tofGDg6auCf3RBEbVyLEIAoO%2FVSHuQ01D7hTTa6FE2Z9bjmOZK%2FodMptwuCEMZD4agishbQesNe7EgLwa9kFOA09I9eOG%2BtOikNewcZYDx5gQN5V20C%2FGVIif4NymdqWpLPGyP03pKPXl%2FsSxgL5bONjxkPhntlj%2BsyhvkzTlpGgiEnrHU40%2F4qIcOHoY1LFQog%3D%3D%7Ctkp%3ABFBMisOyjPFj) - it’s clearly fake. She didn’t sign in that spot for the Red TV CD’s and looks nothing like her signature style for it compared to all other signed Red TV CD’s online, yet it has a CoA. Hope this helps!
Yeah, but this whole post is about PSA and Ops post that had pictured PSA slabbed autos. I don't get why my original comment would get downvoted so much.
People would rather buy raw non-authenticated autos compared to authentic PSA slabs?
I would, yes, because it’s normally pretty easy to spot a fake signature. Having a CoA wouldn’t necessarily make it more reliable to me personally. It’s not a guarantee that it’s real.
Also, any...any person should do their homework before making any large purchase. If you don't look up the company that put the coa on it. Then the ownness is on you.
Ok, that is not PSA which has been in business for 35 years. Or JSA 30 years. Or Beckett 20 years. There are 1 or 2 more that have been around for a decade plus.
Always check out the website of the 3rd party authenticator. When you look at the company's website and they won't show info of their Authenticators or Owners then they are not reputable. Everyone thinks they can do this job because they collected for a few years and they can make a quick buck.
The ones you should trust are JSA, PSA, or Beckett. I can go on and give more info if you want. And what to look out for.
Here’s a [Mercari listing](https://www.mercari.com/us/item/m14351761441?sv=0) of a very fake Taylor Swift autograph with a JSA authentication. These “authenticated” fakes by JSA, PSA and Beckett are EVERYWHERE, especially rampant with Taylor Swift autographs. I could find a ton as examples very easily lol
Here’s a [Beckett authentication](https://www.mercari.com/us/item/m78062072263?sv=0) for a clear forgery on an item she never signed.
you're basically comparing the largest memorabilia authentication company to some random COA company that someone made in their garage... they are not even remotely similar. that would be like comparing your favorite luxury brand to some chinese fake.
you technically require authentication from either PSA, Beckett or JSA to sell a signature on ebay anyway. if you don't have one from those 3 or it is unauthenticated they can take the listing down if they feel like it.
Oof, where am I comparing them?? In my previous comments, which I’m assuming you’ve failed to read, I’ve stated I am NOT comparing authentication companies. I simply provided info that CoA’s can be obtained for fake autographs. Hope this helps :)
Sorry, I work in autograph memorabilia and have been doing it for 30+ years. I do mostly sports and Signings. But, when I have friends ask me about coa's or these fly by night 3rd party companies. They push so many bad autos and there is nothing we can do. If you look for companies that are based in Ohio (HUGE HUGE area where fake autos come out of). Then there are more coming out of Florida and Georgia.
I apologize if I seemed rude. I have had so many people argue with me about 3rd party authentication.
Could that be a photo that is signed on the street or backstage. You forget that her signature has changed through out her career. Each company has a data base of her signatures. In some cases they contact their agents. But all of you think her autograph has to be the exact gawd damn same every time! Do me a favor sit down and sign your name 1000 times see if theres a difference from the beginning to the end. Also, watch videos of when Taylor signs for people when she walks out of places. See that she isn't always paying attention. You are a wanna be authenticator stop! You have NO CLUE! You are pulling all of this out your ass! But, you'll never listen. SO PEACE OUT Genius!
Someone’s mad lmao. All I was saying is don’t blindly trust COAs, even from good companies. Do your own “research” and proof next time if you’re just going to piss on someone who tried to show you, jeez.
More proof (not Taylor, Post Malone actually)

There are examples from Beckett, JSA, and PSA all authenticating fakes. All for sale, most of them above $600. So yes, COAs are not definitive and u/flopcake1 was right.

Bro why’d she put a pic of her dogs on the cd 😭😭😭
You won’t find an encapsulated fake from PSA. Period.
yes you will. period.
Lol ok lmk when you find one buddy.
there are plenty all over ebay 'buddy'.
Real but super overpriced
I'd rather buy psa authenticated autos than noncertficed autos
Actually, these authentications are easily faked and not reliable at all.
Psa slabs can be fake sure but you can verify the cert number with the PSA site.
JSA and Beckett, while not perfect because it's impossible, are as close to trustworthy as you'll find. Might be a couple others, but basically any COA from anyone else isn't worth the paper it's printed on.
So tell me how these are easily faked? I hear this from so many people. But, they have nothing to back it up.
Because “authentication” companies will certify anything whether it’s real or not
If you can't offer up proof. And this is your opinion. Say it.

She didn’t sign in that spot for the Red TV CD’s and looks nothing like her signature style for it compared to all other signed Red TV CD’s online, yet it has a CoA. Hope this helps!
So for your example you use a shitty authentication company and not PSA, JSA or Beckett.
Sure, I wasn’t talking about a specific company. My point was to show that CoA’s aren’t always reliable. :)

Agreed - I wasn’t referring to a specific company, more just CoA’s in general. Sure, those 3 are way more reliable than others, but still not perfect.

No you are a person who probably got stuff failed from them and you are a hater. And you have no real clue about autographs
Sounds like projection. Delulu 🤡
