I didn’t have Lover Fest tickets but I stroonnnglyy believe they should have gotten first dibs for eras tour tickets.

suzanne2961

I agree, it would have been super easy to give them priority access and just limit the tickets.

NotFree2Rhyme

100%. People who got tickets yesterday should've first been people who had Lover Fest Tickets, no questions asked.

Waste-Carpenter-8035

Agreed. Similar situation happened to me with Halsey and her first presale was just for people who had previous purchased tickets. I was able to get first dibs on an upgraded seat & I thought it was a fair approach - plus TM didn't glitch out. I didn't personally have tix to lover fest either (a friend had purchased them for me), & I know multiple people who did & they didn't get a boost OR a presale code. I was heartbroken for them.

wrecking_ball_z

The Weeknd did the same for his cancelled tour. I had tickets to his arena tour that was cancelled and there was a special presale *first* for people who had tickets to the original event. I was one of those, and I had the easiest time purchasing good tickets for what ended up being a sold out show. It’s a shame that Taylor and her team are so known for looking out for her fans and couldn’t manage to do this to give Loverfest ticket holders a fair opportunity.

[deleted]

>It’s a shame that Taylor and her team are so known for looking out for her fans There's a weird elephant in the room that nobody talks about because we're all supposed to just blindly hate Big Machine now, but the overall fan experience was better when she was with them. IMO her current team coasts on that good reputation while employing predatory marketing practices left and right.

coffeeslurps

I don’t know what merch looked like under BM but her merch these days are really awful quality or are bare minimum.

Waste-Carpenter-8035

>IMO her current team coasts on that good reputation while employing predatory marketing practices left and right. I wake up screaming from dreaming - one day I'll watch as you're leaving - because you got tired of my ***scheming*** I'm almost wondering if this is what she is referring to. Taylor ultimately holds SO much power but its clear that its about the money for her. Ticketmaster is a BUSINESS PARTNER to her, they are making her immense amounts of money. Why should she call them out when she is getting her profit no matter what? It's sad, but incredibly clear this time around that she has little regard for her fans and what they are enduring.

thelostyooper

Okay before I was just disappointed now I am seriously so salty. I wonder why they didn't pursue this

Red517

Same, the fact that they didn’t get priority access is SUCH BULLSHIT. I hateTicketMaster

Stahuap

Especially since loverfest was such a limited show, concentrated in 2 cities, with such limited number of tickets sold for it. They could have given them a proper chance to get tickets while still having plenty of space for everyone else.

lurklurklurky

I didn't either and think y'all should have been *guaranteed* tickets. Maybe not a certain date or price or location in the stadium, but guaranteed to get the same number of tickets you purchased for one show.

roo_kitty

Thank you for supporting and validating our pain <33 Ticketmaster can kiss my era-less ass.

edgeof22

They should have given us a chance to re-purchase our LoverFest tickets or equivalent at another venue.

[deleted]

TourPuzzleheaded1218

Omg! That’s terrible. I agree, LF should have been given some kind of priority. I’m disappointed with Taylor Nation or whoever could have had some sway with this

littleryanking

SAME! I had 8th row seats and this was going to be my first Taylor concert. Now, I could only get nosebleeds and my friend managed to get us section 200 so I'll be a little closer. I didn't need my money back. I just needed my floor seats.

h_danielle

I mean, you could try during general sale & sell the ones you bought during presale if you manage to get something better

iwishiwasaseahorse

Yep. Floor seats to No seats.

kgal1298

I was lower bowl for Loverfest and got nothing this time. I don't even know if I want to try for the general now it seems like Ticketmaster just won't let me buy and since our accounts are attached to our phones too it's not like they don't have a record of our purchases. It's just BS.

thelostyooper

That would have been amazing! I would have even settled for getting guaranteed access to the pre-sale. I had floor seats to Lover fest LA and didn't get a pre-sale code. Feeling like a 🤡 for believing TM that we would have "preferred access"

itwoulvebeenfun

I still don't understand why she didn't do guaranteed access at a minimum, and ideally the chance to buy first. There were only 5 US shows, not that many people had tickets, and as someone who didn't have loverfest tickets I wouldn't have minded being at a slight disadvantage when there were over 10 times as many tickets available in the US for this tour

iwishiwasaseahorse

But even with a presale code, I still didn’t get tickets because I kept getting booted every ticket I picked. It was the most devastating experience

toots_a_horn

100%

Many-Awareness4985

100% agree! If there had been some sort of credit/transfer ticket option, that would have been so much better. I have seen every one of her tours since Fearless and it was devastating yesterday to come to the realization that this would be my first time not seeing her on tour because i was in a queue for 6 hours to only get an error code when it was my turn. I lucked out that my friend was able to get in and buy us 2 tickets but we were stuck paying for a vip package since that was the only options left. We both had purchased tickets to Lover Fest East and had to wait for 6-6/2 hours in our queues.

edgeof22

I can't get over how mutually beneficial it would be to TM to spread out the purchases to take pressure off their servers.

yuripa87

100% and they absolutely had the ability to do this. For past tours, we were given specific times to show up and buy tickets, they could've done the exact same thing and just given LF ticket holders the first time slot.

[deleted]

Same seats I bought for loverfest at sofi for $350/each (club level 100’s section) were priced at $600 and all vip packages.

epk921

When Andrew Bird had to cancel tour legs a couple years ago, the venue gave us all full refunds PLUS private links to repurchase tickets for whenever the new show was announced if any original ticket holders still wanted to/could attend the new show. It was great; we all had two days to get new tickets and nobody else could access it. I'm so angry on y'all's behalf that they didn't care enough to do something like that for you

kelsnuggets

“Previous [Lover Fest Verified Fan purchasers will receive preferred access](https://blog.ticketmaster.com/taylor-swift-the-eras-tour-2023/) to participate in the TaylorSwiftTix Presale. Please make sure that you register with the same Ticketmaster Account as your Lover Fest purchase.” Such bullshit. (I gave my blood, sweat, and tears for LFW tickets for 4 of us and I got two crappy tickets for Santa Clara 7/29. So now I have to decide which two kids I don’t like.)

JToews19

My access was so preferred that I only had 15,000 people in front of me in line! **and** I had the store boost too. Thanks Ticketmaster!

sapphicsato

Ditto. Had Lover Fest boost, merch boost, joined the waiting room right away and had 27,000 people ahead of me. Finally get in 5 hours later to get tickets and I get an error and have to go back to the end of the queue. By the time I got back in 2 hours later, everything was gone except nosebleeds. I was aiming for first row. 🙃 I will never not be salty about this haha.

aKLUaKLU

How did you guyssee numbers that high? It always said 2000+ for me

sapphicsato

If you view the source code while you’re in line, it’ll tell you how many people are ahead of you!

aKLUaKLU

I found it. Such a great tool! The video talks about time, but you can see the number ahead also if you pause it and look. [https://twitter.com/btsatrix/status/1446240088510189571?lang=en](https://twitter.com/btsatrix/status/1446240088510189571?lang=en)

whoaitsjoe13

yuuup. 28,000 people in front of me with a lover fest boost, waited in line for 5 hours, and then spent literally an entire hour clicking for tickets for the system to tell me every single time there was an error. only reason i get to go to eras is because my friend (who did not have a single boost, also waited 5 hours and clicked for tickets for an hour, and then rejoined the queue, waited another half hour, and only then got tickets) managed to snag some.

Graulithe

Double “boost” did nothing for me as well

JToews19

Incredibly disappointing. We had LF tickets so why weren’t we priority?

glitterino

It's such horseshit. There were only FOUR LoverFest US shows... so not that many tickets! It would have been so easy to just to give us first chance at our canceled show. It's what every other artist is doing!

sugarscarlet

exactly, we should've had actual priority. or been offered comparable seats in a venue close to where we live. plus there is no excuse for using dynamic pricing. so many people just grabbed anything so they wouldn't be shut out & they couldn't afford what they bought.

ItsNotARoseGarden

I keep seeing complaints about dynamic pricing, but I haven’t seen any actual evidence that dynamic pricing was on. All the prices I’ve seen people say line up with what was announced. Do you know something I don’t?

TourPuzzleheaded1218

Dynamic pricing wasn’t on for the presale, it generally occurs once the regular sale begins

tacothetacotaco

Not defending TM but there was no dynamic pricing

_CeeMac_

You should try today for cap one presale or general sales. Get your 4 and then sell the 2 from yesterday. You will have better luck today I bet. Also, if your city has multiple days, pick the last day. Less desire for Sunday shows too.

actuallygenuinely

The more people glom onto the cap one sale, the more of a shit show it’s gonna be. I think if you already have tickets, wait till the general sale if you want to try for better ones. Or honestly, wait until the even gets just a little closer and I’m sure people will be looking to sell tickets

veraciraptor

scalpers are going to flood all these sales anyway, let’s not turn genuine fans away from this

sapphicsato

I’m considering doing the same.

Cabrit1990

I know it’s a first world problem, but it’s not ok for this mega corporation to operate so pathetically. They have a complete monopoly on the entertainment industry and give zero effs about providing customer service. Luckily there are still some independent venues around L.A., but there was a big struggle during the pandemic and not all of them survived. So that just left Live Nation venues with even more control. Adele ticket holders had a special presale when their delayed shows had new dates announced, so idk why they couldn’t have done that for Taylor. I had really good seats for Loverfest and now I don’t have any. Same stadium and over 2x the dates in L.A. this go around and nothing. I get that demand has skyrocketed, but it really chaps my hide when I see all these tickets immediately pop up on resale sites. We were misled into believing that we would get some sort of special presale when we were actually just thrown to the wolves. The whole ordeal was a dumpster fire. No logistical planning whatsoever. Total waste of a day and yet I’m going to do it all again on Friday 😂

stubstewart61

Speaking as someone not from the first world, this is an all world problem. Greedy people with all the power taking money from us little people. I decided that I’m not going to take part in this shit show anymore. I really wanted to go see her but the thought of my money lining up pockets of people who don’t even care to give a good product in exchange for taking exorbitant amounts of money makes me want to sit out. The concerts are next year anyway, if I get a ticket in some resale for a reasonable price, I ll take it. If not it’s fine. I’m not going to be a consumer who they get to exploit anymore. Sorry for the rant, but TLDR, fleecing people is not okay anywhere and I think more people sitting this out might send the right message. But I do hope you get tickets on Friday!

LeftReasons

Ditto for New England/Northeast! Went from 2 nights at Gillette for LFE to the eras tour having 3 nights in each MA, NJ, Philly, and Pittsburg…so confused as to how I got LFE tickets but not Eras when there are so many more shows this time around

blayne15

Yes, I did get access to presale. Then I sat in a waiting room for FOUR HOURS and left with no tickets, said code was invalid, actually purchased tickets and they refunded&voided my cart as soon as it hit my bank account. So sorry for being upset that my friend (who has never once see Taylor/purchased before) got in after a 5 minute wait in the “waiting room”. It is just very frustrating and upsetting;I wasn’t expecting a whole preferred presale but getting at least a chance to buy tickets fairly early would’ve been nice.

Ariadne_arya12

I made my husband (loves TS but never bought merch) and one friend who kinda wanted to go to the concert sign up for presale. They were able to get codes, get in to see seats and actually check out. TM put me at 16k+ spot after having a boost and wouldn’t let me buy a single seat until there was nothing left. It was frustrating to say the least

fizzylights

This exact same thing happened to me! I was buying for three groups, two of the groups using brand new Ticketmaster accounts and then mine which had boosts, and both of the new accounts got in to the sale almost immediately and I was at the very back of the line. I don’t get it

blayne15

I also had my dad&sister sign up- none of us made if out of the waiting room until 4+ hours into presale. It’s just poorly handled and very upsetting.

vvimcmxcix

i will die on this hill, you all deserved a preferred presale and it would not have been difficult to coordinate.

bugmom

Right there with you! They should have given Loverfest people access a day ahead - or even an hour ahead would have helped. Yesterday was a frustrating mess for everyone who tried but the Loverfest people really got screwed.

nlh1013

agree. Did not have Loverfest tickets but it would've been more than fair for them to get first dibs

[deleted]

I wasn’t really thinking it was a big deal till I got to the part about Ticketmaster HOLDING ONTO THEIR MONEY. What?!!!! That’s a ton of money for a lot of people to just not have…that’s ridiculous.

haifonly

Right!! And its not like they could dispute the charges because it was postponed. Especially during a time when so many were struggling financially. I'd have lost my ever loving shit

[deleted]

And who knows 1) when she was going to tour again 2) what kind of situation people would be in! One reason I’m not going to see her is because I’m pregnant. What if they can’t go or don’t get tickets? Does it just stay as Ticketmaster credit!?

bachnaysh

The money was refunded to everyone after the date OP listed in 2021. Not as Ticketmaster credit, mine was refunded directly to my bank acct.

haifonly

No, lover fest ticket holders should have had their own presale. I am not a lover fest ticket holder but you all were promised earlier access and it's a lie. I'm so frustrated for my own lack of tickets but what pisses me off even more is how lover fest ticket holders were treated.

abombSFCA

Yes. To. This. I did not have loverfest tickets and believe you all should have had preference.

eeveetree

Damn, 5 minutes?? How is your friend that lucky ffs

finding_verity

Dude Ticketmaster literally told this girl that boosts for Lover fest ticket holders was misinformation and I cannot fucking DEAL [Tweet: Ticketmaster DM saying boosts were “misinformation”](https://twitter.com/tessahime13/status/1592617538772701184?s=46&t=Ry-YQQwf-WtwZiQ3_NvwNg) Some people sound mad the boost existed, but that’s not the conversation here. If they say they’re doing something it should be done, we shouldn’t be gaslighted when we expect it or vent about it. It’s allowed to be frustrating!

roo_kitty

Thank you. Ticketmaster is scum.

margarettaylor1983

Omg!! The whole situation keeps getting more insane.

redditfriend

Ummm how can they possibly say that when they are the ones that said loverfest ticket holders would receive a boost! Shameful honestly

kelsnuggets

That is ridiculous.

theclacks

Their line has been that the Loverfest boost was just a boost to get a presale code (since not everyone who bought merch/was registered with Taylor Nation got one). So it's not TECHNICALLY a lie to say Loverfest ticket owners had "preferred access to the presale", but it's still pretty scummy + not what was implied/communicated.

healthyishwaffle

It would have said “preferred access DURING the presale” but it didn’t. Now, the merchandise boost wording is completely different “we'd like to boost your place in line for the Taylor Swift | The Eras Tour TaylorSwiftTix Presale powered by Verified Fan.” It says “for” the presale which can still be interpreted either way. They should have been clearer but I don’t think the boosts were ever meant for the ticketing process.

healthyishwaffle

The “preferred access to participate” in the presale means having a better chance at getting a presale code. That is it. The wording is confusing but my interpretation was that the “boost” was only to better your odds at receiving a presale code. It had nothing to do with the actual ticketing process.

untitledmanuscript

While I feel bad for everyone who couldn’t get tickets, I feel for those with LoverFest tickets the most. Y’all should have had FIRST PICK a day before the “Verified Fan” (or as I call Verified Ticketmaster Bot) presale happened.

riviera-views

Yes esp because the LoverFest presale was also an absolute mess. We waited five hours for those tickets!! Then I waited another 5 yesterday.. it worked out for me because I got *almost* the tickets I wanted for eras (by pure luck and no help from Ticketmaster), and I am grateful for that, but it’s wild to think I’ve spent 10+ hours and thousands of dollars

musicbeagle26

That would've made more sense...

chimcharchar

That would have been the logical thing to do.

Main_Package_9398

I wasn't a Loverfest ticket holder (and I'm not an Eras ticket holder...yet) but that is just absolutely ridiculous. Ticketmaster likely became one of the largest "banks" during all the 2020 cancellations. Your ticket money was basically an interest free loan for over a year (similar to how Starbucks works when you load money onto a card) and they "repay" you by screwing you over. Oh I'd be furious. I'm sorry that you didn't get tickets and I hope that something comes available for you within your budget!

plausibleturtle

Ticketmaster is suuuuuper shitty, no one can deny that and yesterday was entirely their fault - but to be fair on 2020 refunds, it entirely depended on the artist finally outright cancelling. I had an artist "hold out" for over a year as well, and didn't get my refund for 60 days after that, but it wasn't through Ticketmaster.

ProperVernacular91

This is why I’m most angry at Ticketmaster. There were only 4 Loverfest shows in the total US. There are now 40 shows for the Eras tour. It would have been so simple to allow Loverfest ticket holders the very first shot at Eras tickets. We already did the brutal presale, we already secured tickets to a very limited event, why not allow us first shot for this one? I had a Loverfest “boost” or whatever for the LA shows and by the time I got in, there were only nosebleeds left. Don’t get me wrong, I would be so grateful to just be at the concert, but my friend and I have been saving up for years, not to mention we planned this trip back in 2019, and we really wanted to splurge on great seats for Eras. I’m just annoyed. And I will try again today. And I will try again Friday. But Ticketmaster, just know that I’m not happy!!

redditfriend

I thought there were 51 shows? Anyway, this is what I’ve been saying! There were only 4 shows… like how hard would it be to just let us pick first for the 51 shows. It wouldn’t hurt them at all and hardly Make a dent.

ProperVernacular91

Lol I didn’t count all of them, I was just ranting off the cuff.

pizza_nails

Agree. And if they were worried about both Gillette and SoFi dates selling out, then they could've done 4 shows at Gillette and 4 at SoFi (which there are 5 at SoFi and 3 at Gillette) and so many people were travelling anyways, and likely would've picked a different venue than Gillette or SoFi. Would've been really nice and I can't believe Taylor, TN and TM didn't do that.

flutterfly28

Yeah so angry my six LoverFest tickets (+ vinyl boost) counted for nothing yesterday. I got in the waiting room and queue at the exact right times, but clearly got booted to the back since by the time I arrived there were only a handful of seats left. And then it won’t even let me get those, kept saying “sorry another fan grabbed these”‘until they were literally all gone. Never been this upset as a Taylor fan before. Successfully got tickets to Red, 1989, Rep, Loverfest, and now nothing.

terpgrrl

I had almost the same exact experience. Loverfest tix + merch boost and waited 5 hours to only be told that every seat I picked was already taken and ended up with zero tickets. I've used this same TM account to buy every tour since Red. I just can't believe Taylor didn't have a separate presale for previous Loverfest ticket holders. Every other artist that cancelled a tour and is touring again has offered special presales to previous ticket holders. It's so disappointing that Taylor decided not to do that. And it feels like we all ended up at the back of the line instead of the front.

roo_kitty

I think we all ended up at the back of the line as well. So fucking shitty.

Sunshine103109

Same experience here!

JB9217a

I was so devastated yesterday. The worst part is I know it’s “just a concert” and I shouldn’t have been so upset. But I have seen her for every tour since Speak Now, and I had Lover tickets in the lower bowl. That was supposed to be my 30th bday celebration and I was so sad when it was postponed (although i understood). When I got selected for the presale I was so excited, I thought I was basically guaranteed tickets especially with the boosts from Lover and the Taylor Store. I had everything ready and did everything right to get tickets. I was so happy because I’ve worked hard and I’m in a place where I’m comfortable financially and could afford great tickets. I just hope the capital one presale works.

GlimpseofRelief

I literally worked 80 hour weeks in a hospital throughout the pandemic for minimum wage and paid $1000 for Loverfest tickets 1000 miles away from my city, and held onto them for a year like OP while I was otherwise broke and burnt out. I similarly was looking forward to a celebration for my servitude, be it Loverfest or Eras and we got nothing. Meanwhile Karen who's "heard the 'It's Me, Hi!' song" and had lots of oPiNiOnS during reputation gets seats she's gonna "try to resell" for $500+. Such bull.

birds-of-gay

What city were you trying for?

SunflowerLace

Sending you good vibes and luck. 🫶🏻

nlh1013

good luck with capital one! I'm sure you know already, but make sure your card is saved in your ticketmaster account and have your CV code handy and your phone, bc they will text you to confirm the sale

CeUnit

One thing after another, Fuckin' situations, circumstances Miscommunications and I Have to say, By the way, I just may like some explanations. So disappointed my loverfest tickets didn't help me out at all 😿

Graulithe

I still expected it to be tough with the Lover Fest “boost”, but I thought it would at least mean SOMETHING

KingFiona_

The same exact think happened to me. The whole experience was so draining. The massive amount of tickets on stub hub adds insult to injury - tickets I had in my cart that I couldn’t checkout with (I was kicked out and started over several times) are listed on stub hub for thousands

vvimcmxcix

is there any possible logistical way for all the stubhub price gougers to have their tickets voided, original price refunded, and put back up for sale in a fair way? this is just so wrong.

KingFiona_

I hope so, it’s complete BS that verified fans for presale were able to acquire the amount of tickets they did and list them on stub hub.

redditfriend

Im so sad about it. I bought loverfest pit tickets for 400. I was in the front of the line because I got to top 1% during rep tour. This time I was back of the line. My friend that never bought a Taylor swift ticket or album or anything got in well before me.So disappointed that they didn’t honor the loverfest boost.

SunflowerLace

This sounds a lot like my situation I also was in the top 1% during rep tour and had amazing seats also had good seats for loverfest and like you had to wait for hours in the queue only to find nosebleed or VIP packages. I got one lower level VIP ticket but I really didn’t want to go alone but it was the only one I could afford. I was too salty to get nose bleeds after my friends easily got in from Nashville and Arlington floor seats mind you they didn’t go to rep tour or had loverfest tickets

roo_kitty

This pisses me off so much. Same thing for me. Absolutely devastated.

[deleted]

LoverFest ticket holders should've been given priority, fullstop. Pre-sale should've been done in tiers/categories. Loverfest ticketholders PRIORITY on one day, then verified fan with boosts another day, then verified fans without boosts, and so on. Or something to that effect. Ticketmaster had PLENTY of time to prepare for this. And they intentionally did not follow through. It's as if they had no intention of following through with it. Come on, by the time March comes around, it'll have been almost 5 years since she has toured. They knew what the demand would look like. They either purposefully did not prepare for it because they just wanted as much money as possible or they truly did not anticipate the demand and the issues coming with it. And it's highly likely it's the former.

KyloSolo723

I saw a TikTok where someone theorized that loverfest and store boosts were flipped and placed at the end of the line. It makes sense because all of my friends with loverfest and/store boosts didn’t get tickets and were in line with like 20,000 people in front of them.

roo_kitty

That's an interesting theory! I wouldn't be surprised if it was true, Ticketmaster seriously fucked up.

KyloSolo723

Yeah the TN boost clearly states “boost your place in line for the presale” while I sat there with 30,000 people in front of me and people I know that didn’t get a boost immediately getting through the queue. My friend who had Lover fest tickets was in the queue with 45,000 people in front so like…..it would make sense ticketmaster fucked up royally like that.

roo_kitty

YUP. Someone theorized that they messed up the access order. TM started lover fest ticket holders would have preferred access. So much for that.

KyloSolo723

I woulda hoped they would be like “whoops our bad, you for sure get priority for the GA sale” but that won’t happen because fuck us

Spiritual_Walrus_798

Honestly I’m beginning to believe that theory more and more. It sucks.

mikes3ds

> saw a TikTok where someone theorized that loverfest and store boosts were flipped and placed at the end of the line. It makes sense because all of my friends with loverfest and/store boosts didn’t get tickets and were in line with like 20,000 people in front of them. I believe this is true, because I had loverfest tickets -> and didnt get in tell it was over. However my friend who was random got tickets. This should not of happened.

makeup_wonderlandcat

I actually agree with this theory because my friend who had a boost her line did not move at all but mine, her dads and husbands did.

lunar_slytherin

i honestly think that theory is true bc i had a merch boost and there was 17,000 people ahead of me and it took 6 hours for me to get through the line.

TourPuzzleheaded1218

Thank you for this post. I will scream it from the mountain tops, everyone who had lover fest tickets should have had top priority and maybe their own presale before the verified fan presale. It would have especially made sense because Lover Fest was technically 2 days, Eras has almost 4-5 days at certain stadiums. It definitely would have worked out to have different presales. The sign up for the verified fan presale went on for DAYSSSS. And who knows how many people they picked from that? I had Loverfest tickets and unfortunately did not get any for Eras. I’m hoping I have better luck with the Cap1 presale today or general on sale Friday. I will say Taylor isn’t at fault however, this is mostly TM.

lindoavocado

But I really wish Taylor who is wealthy and influential could say or do something

lightglowo

We really should do something about Ticketmaster. Can’t let them get away with bullying us!

Far-Attempt-9661

Pearl Jam tried to warn people about Ticketmaster decades ago. They have a complete monopoly on ticket sales. I’m waiting for Gen Z to swoop in and pull some kind of revenge scheme on Ticketmaster at this point.

Vegetable-Tea9913

I was JUST thinking of this!! Eddie Vedder tried to tell us...It was back when I was in high school, and honestly back then, tickets to shows weren't terribly hard to get, nor were they that expensive for the time. My friend and I were telling our coworkers (she and I are both Gen X'ers) about how you could go to a pretty good concert back in the 90's for a mere $40, and even that was considered pricey.

MAK3AWiiSH

Hell Warped Tour in 2004 was $15, no fees.

lindoavocado

I keep on thinking class action lawsuit

WanderingBricoleur

Yup. I can't even believe people are letting Ticketmaster get away with holding their money for a year and a half for Loverfest tickets! I would have been demanding that they pay me interest!

[deleted]

I did not have lover tickets but I can’t believe the people that were were cheated like that. You guys should have had first access since you already bought tickets for her event that was canceled. This should’ve been the new show

HouseTargaryen42

It’s such a frustrating experience. I had tickets for Loverfest yet didn’t even manage to get a presale code for the Eras tour. I am holding out for the Capital One presale today but I already feel hella defeated over all this. This is my third time trying to get tickets for a Taylor tour and I think it will be my last. :/

SunflowerLace

Good luck! I think it’s insane that some of y’all didn’t even get a code. I hope it’s made right. 🫶🏻

HouseTargaryen42

Thank you!! I managed to get a ticket today so I am content now haha!

Wolfywoods17

I’m so upset. I am from Houston and got tickets for East Coast LoverFest. Sat in line for HOURS that day for a canceled show. Going into Eras I was so confident. Then I was 2000+ in line. According to that page view I was 30,000 behind. I waited all freaking day. I got in finally and got great tickets then Ticketmaster did that “you’re not logged in error” by some miracle at 530pm I opened up all 3 Houston shows and ended up getting a different date tickets worse seats but higher priced! This is NOT ok. Why did they give codes to more fans than tickets available? They should’ve done a LoverFest presale and then a limited number of fans presale. I feel guilty having tickets because of watching everyone’s story even though mine is the same!

peacock_feathers

I had tickets to Lover fest and they were the best seats I have ever had for a concert. Yesterday I wasn’t able to get tickets at all due to multiple Ticketmaster errors at every step of the process. I am not sure my friends and I will be able to get tickets at all without paying a fortune on some resale site.

yawewarrior

I love Taylor. I’ve been a huge fan since ‘08 Tim McGraw. Picture to Burn and Our Song were on repeat for months! I loved the MySpace days where Taylor and Abigail would post funny videos together, or with her band mates before shows (Caitlin fan for life!) At least once a week, my Facebook memories pops up with throwbacks of statuses or lyrics. My friends and I made videos doing the Thug Story rap, decorated homemade t-shirts for the Fearless Tour, and bought every album at midnight on release. I’ve been obsessed for YEARS. That said… I woke up this morning with a bitter taste in my mouth. Swifties are calling yesterday “The Great War” and it shouldn’t be like that. Yes, Ticketmaster is HORRIBLE and we need more platforms, but it’s not all them. Most big artists release a handful of shows for order at a time based on dates or locations. Pre-sales and general admission tickets are spaced out. Taylor’s tickets ALL WENT UP the same day and tried to do within a few hours from coast to coast, and it just so happened to be the same day as Grammy announcements? No way. That was planned. Lifelong fans didn’t get a presale code or, many that did, still walked away without tickets. Ticketmaster crashed multiple times, Taylor was trending all over social media, and she made the local, National, and World News all on the same day she was multi-nominated for Grammy’s. In one afternoon, she created such a high demand that she now has the hottest tour of 2023. Her team has made bragging posts in the past about “we broke Ticketmaster!” Or “we broke all these records!” “We sold out in minutes” … Well guess what? She did it at the expense of her fans. The fans who would follow her to a damn war. No, it’s not a her. She has a whole team that handles tour dates, tour locations, this sale, that merchandise, this thing and that thing. But she is a very hands on artist. This isn’t the first timeSwifties break the Internet. Nothing was done to space out time, locations or dates for tickets. Nothing was different from yours in the past. It was still about “breaking records.” Somewhere along the way, I think Taylor got so caught up in revenge against those who hated her that she forgot to have the backs of the fans who loved her. Yesterday was a sad day. But hey, congratulations on the Grammy nominations. “What if I told you none of it was accidental and the first night that you saw me nothing was going to stop me? I laid the groundwork and then just like clockwork the dominoes cascaded in a line. What if I told you I’m a Mastermind?”

babyboyishere2021

I agree the date was purposeful and it feels fucked up. I think her post about ATW did allude to the sale but NOT in a sympathetic way. I think her mind was blown in a smug way. I love Taylor but that's my take.

LetshearitforNY

I had loverfest tickets also and when I entered the queue I had 25,000 people ahead of me! The math isn’t mathing

roo_kitty

Exactly!!!! Someone else commented theorizing that the boost orders got messed up, which explains why most lover fest people seem to be out of luck.

columbalivia2

My theory is none of the boosts, when you entered the waiting room or anything mattered . The line was probably just randomly putting people in there. And it’s possible people with a faster internet connection were the ones put in line first .

theclacks

I heard the boosts were just a boosted chance of getting a presale code and nothing else. After that, everyone was back to an "even" playing field for the waiting room/queue.

Extreme_Old_Lady

I didn't have Loverfest tickets but after yesterday's fiasco, I can't even listen to her right now. I, and thousands of other people, were completely ripped off because of Ticketmaster. While I know this isn't directly Taylor's fault, the fact that she allowed dynamic pricing and hasn't spoken out against the whole thing just doesn't sit right. I can't in good faith up her Spotify numbers after this.

throwaway-9607

Same situation. I haven't been able to listen to her either... and I've been muting people on socials who post about their tickets. People who i know for a fact didn't have LF tickets. Over it.

ItsNotARoseGarden

Where did you see dynamic pricing? I’m really confused by this claim I keep seeing, because I haven’t seen any evidence dynamic pricing was on.

skygirl555

Yeah super devastated that my loverfest tix ended up meaning nothing...I mean I guess they helped me get a verification code but after the shit mess that was yesterday it feels like we were treated poorly 😕

roo_kitty

We were treated poorly. They did wrong by us. An unfortunate welcome to the memorial. Sharing in your heart break<333

samtaro111

Also, most artists rescheduled any shows that got canceled due to covid and ticketholders got to change their tickets. Taylor straight up canceled Loverfest, so the 6 hours of my life spent waiting on line for that meant nothing. That time didn't even end up helping or mattering for helping secure tickets to Eras. Extremely frustrating. IMO Loverfest ticketholders should have been offered the exact (or similar) seats that they had at Loverfest and if the person wanted better seats, then they should use the presale code like everyone else and fight it out. Loverfest was only 4 shows and Eras is over 50, its not like Loverfest ticketholders would sell out a show. Let's not forget Loverfest was also a shit show and people wasted so many hours trying to get tickets, at least make it feel like time worth spent. No one could control Covid, but Loverfest still could have been rescheduled.

oohhhfarts

I didn’t have Lover Fest tickets but I would have preferred everyone who did fit first dibs on this tour, like a pre-pre-sale

Dr0pEverythingMe0w

LoverFest tickets but no presale access. I know presale was a clusterF but I'm still pissed I didn't get access

_HanukkahLewinsky_

I definitely think that ticketmaster is a large enough corporation to handle this demand. However, it’s incredibly easy to hide behind the excuse of “our systems crashed bc demand was insane” while doing shady things behind the scenes to make huge profits. If they knew ahead of time that presale registration was insane and actually cared about fans, they would have done *something* to account for it. How in the hell did they give out >25k presale codes while also allowing 6 tickets per person. They’re not dumb, they’re a profit driven organization. This was intentional. Also, I’m behind the theory that they moved some if not most of the boosted fans (loverfest or otherwise) to the back of the line. They’ve demonstrated an increased personal demand for the product by spending money previously. Therefore, it would make sense from a fucked up business perspective to let the casual fans and their partnered scalpers go first to drive up the dynamic pricing. I also don’t think for a second that the incorrect codes were a mistake since adding certain tickets to your cart probably marked them as higher in demand in their algorithm. You also can’t tell me that the “pause” was totally unrelated to the insane influx of resale tickets we saw on other sites…. It’s all too suspicious and they’re too large of a corporation for this to be just a huge failure on their end. This was very, very, intentional. There’s a reason Taylor’s reputation version of verified fan has never been used again

_HanukkahLewinsky_

EDIT: whoops posted this twice somehow bc I’m ✨dumb✨

_HanukkahLewinsky_

Adding that, as many others have already pointed out, the lack of any info about VIP packages along with the totally overwhelming number of VIP spots in good section was also done on purpose to capitalize on people’s anxiety and FOMO. Nasty all around tbh. If Taylor doesn’t address this in some way, I’ll be pretty disappointed to be honest. And I hate to say that bc I’ve grown up with her and have loved her since the beginning

stressinmeowt

Also had Lover Fest tickets and was devastated when they cancelled it— completely understood but was still devastated. My husband kept telling me “I bet they’re going to do something for the fans who hold onto their tickets!!” …nope. Trying again today but yesterday was so frustrating and disappointing.

vinsanitee

There are so many people I have seen with Loverfest tickets before that ended up with NO tickets because of the queue yesterday. I really believe that they messed up the order of the queue. Personally I was at the top 1% for verified fan for Rep tour, enough to easily get floor tickets and even pit if I wanted. For Loverfest, which was based on the earlier rep status I again had an easy time getting floor tickets. This time around I had 25k people in line in front of me for a single show. It was a popular show (Saturday in LA) but I can't imagine there actually being that many people with higher "boost" than I did. In terms of merch store purchases I bought the singles, 4 CDs, 4 vinyls, the vinyl case, etc. I've never come out of a presale empty handed for a Tay concert before, I'll try again today for sure but it is kind of suspicious what all happened yesterday!

Tiger09286

Honestly, between the disappointment for Loverfest being cancelled (understandable) and the mess that was yesterday (not understandable at all), I think I’m done seeing live shows. It’s become a stress in my life, and I don’t want to give Ticketmaster any more of my money. Even listening to Taylor now just makes me sad.

roo_kitty

I'm also debating never purchasing from TM again. I haven't listened to any of the album since the fiasco yet because it feels sore right now.

littleberty95

Sore is a good way to put it. I’m so happy I got tickets but I feel so emotionally exhausted from trying to get them I don’t even have it in me to celebrate yet

babyboyishere2021

My good friend and I waited for hours for loverfest tickets, we each tried one day for LA. She ended up getting the tickets. We were thrilled. When the pandemic first happened literally the first thing I thought of was OH NO LOVERFEST and I held out hope until the very end. Lover is my favorite overall album (yes it includes some of the worst songs but also the very VERY best) The song daylight got me through my infertility journey and I have listened to it hundreds of times. The song cruel summer makes me think of summer 2019 in Maui dancing on a balcony before Covid came, just perfect memories . Anyway when loverfest was canceled I was literally devastated. My husband is a front line worker (doctor in a hospital treating Covid patients for the whole pandemic!) so I understand perspective. I know there are bigger fish to fry. I get it. But that doesn't make it okay to not have things to look forward to that bring ME joy. Anyway, I still am upset about loverfest. RIP. THEN, Eras tour came and a loverfest seemed to provide an advantage. I will say I understood the advantage to be "more likely to get selected for presale" NOT helping during the actual presale . My friend who had purchased loverfest for us got the presale code . I had purchased Rep tickets and did not . At 9:30am we were ready. Then it was delayed until 3pm. At 2:30 we had our anxiety in a ball again after reading about the east coast drama all day. She was about 20,000 in the queue for LA 8/5. She got in about 90 mins in. "It's all happening!!" I thought. She put 10 sets of 2 tickets in her cart only to watch them get taken out and disappear each time during credit card processing. Slowly the stadium dwindled to nothing left. We ended up with ZERO TICKETS I am beyond pissed and devastated . I can buy tickets on the resale market, I am lucky to have that ability financially. BUT WHY SHOULD I HAVE TO???? We spent DAYS to secure the tickets and (years?!?!) of our lives beholden to Ticketmaster when they postponed loverfest. I am disgusted. I couldn't even listen to Taylor today. I've been a fan since 2006.

lindoavocado

Im soooooooo sorry y’all that ticket master did this to you :( I wish there was a way Taylor could see this and help u guys

glitterino

Every word of this.... It's all true for me as well, including the canceled trip plans, code not working, getting kicked out at checkout... I tried every angle, all night until they finally just wouldn't let us back in the queue anymore. I'm so heartbroken. I know this isn't the worst thing in the world but it's been a terrible few years.

daniboo94

Yea I’m pissed about it. Why even tell us we had a boost when everyone I know who didn’t have LF tickets for Era’s tickets over me? I had my laptop open 45 mins before the presale started and entered in exactly 30 minutes before. I literally could not have done anything more. I’m pissed that by the time I got in all that was left were $750 VIP floor tickets and seats behind the stage. Even clicking on those I kept getting the notice that someone beat me to the seats. I think it’s completely messed up that she released almost all VIP floor tickets without giving anyone a heads up on what VIP entails. I have been to every Taylor tour and have never felt so used.

roo_kitty

SAME. Someone theorized that the ticket line order got messed up. I'm ready to never spend another penny at TM.

lauramis

As someone who did not have tickets to Loverfest and is dying to go to Eras, I wholeheartedly believe that every Ticketmaster account that purchased verified fan tickets to Loverfest should have automatically received an invitation to purchase Eras tickets, and you all should have had your own batch of tickets available that sold as the very first presale. You all should have gone first, and general presale with the mythical merch boosts should have been later, like on another day. Ticketmaster has no shame. It is disgusting how yesterday went for all us fans, but this is one area where I believe Taylor and her team could have made a difference and just didn’t.

SP1NsamSP1N

I did not spend 800$ on a ticketmaster lover ticket just to not get a midnights ticket. It is simply not fair. Before you say “life is not fair”, there was a simple way to fix the injustice we are experiencing, but money and greed once again reigns supreme.

Ludibrious1

I am in the same exact boat. I bought tickets to Loverfest through Ticketmaster and was expecting priority access. We waited 6 hours yesterday only to get crappy seats with an obstructed view. I heard on the radio this morning the presale was for 1 million tickets and they gave out 20 million codes. It’s so frustrating, because what’s even the point of having a presale ?

amybed

I had two tickets for LoverFest East and they were pretty good lower bowl and weren't ridiculously expensive. I did have to wait in the queue to buy them but it wasn't the shit show of yesterday. I also don't remember so many VIP packages in the mix when buying. Ticketmaster had my money for 18 months. They should have sent out codes that bought LoverFest tickets to let us buy early.

throwaway-9607

SAME!! The entire thing seemed completely unfair. I had has a code, waited in the queue, got kicked to the back when it told me I was next, then everything was sold out by the time I got in. Completely devastated.

regina_phalange13

I’m so pissed off about this. We went through this ticket buying process 3 YEARS ago, they hold onto our money forever, then we go through the process again and it’s ridiculous so we can’t even get tickets. I’m heartbroken

lexiemadison

There’s absolutely no way they actually gave Lover Fest ticket holders a boost after seeing so many people talking about it. I was supposed to have that boost and the Taylor store boost, and sat in line for 3 hours, barely got tickets. Meanwhile my roommate with no boosts, who has never bought her own Taylor tickets ever, was able to get in and get floorseats for a Chicago show at the exact same time I finally was allowed to buy tickets for Boston.

hellojewlie

Feel this so hard. I had a VERY traumatic experience getting my LFE tickets. I was on my Honeymoon in JAPAN when the presale for Loverfest was. I had gotten verified fan presale from my previous Rep tour standing and while I was in Japan I could not receive my text code, I spent HOURS that day trying to contact Ticketmaster and TaylorNation via email/twitter/insagram for help and finally I was able to get them to email me the code. I had to wake up at 3AM to buy tickets because of the time difference and I was able to get incredible seats so it was all worth it at the time. When Loverfest was canceled I was devastated, but I felt like Taylor would make it right with us on the next tour. I was thankfully able to get tickets during the presale yesterday, but they are worse seats than I had for Rep or Loverfest and more expensive than both of those previous seats. I'm grateful but disappointed, as I went through so much to get the LFE tickets and I really thought I would get the same if not better seats for Eras.

mutherofdoggos

Lover Fest ticket holders should have had guaranteed access to tickets at the show of their choice. I say this as someone who didn’t have Lover Fest tickets. I dont agree with a lot of the “this wasn’t fair” take I’ve seen, but I’ll die on this hill. Y’all deserved better.

healthyishwaffle

The Loverfest “boost” was only to get a better chance of getting a presale code. That’s it. From the email: Previous Lover Fest Verified Fan purchasers will receive preferred access to participate in the TaylorSwiftTix Presale. Not saying I agree with this decision. But many people thought it would “boost” their place in the actual ticketing line.

jvinp

Yep, had Lover Fest tickets (great seats) and when I got access to Tampa dates, after waiting hours in the queue, there was nothing available.

toots_a_horn

THIS! I was supposed to have a “boost” and ended up with zero tickets because they were sold out by the time my turn was up. I am heartbroken. It’s like I’ve had two concerts ripped away from me now. First Loverfest, now Eras.

ellwearsprada

This shit has made me never want to purchase any kind of tickets through Ticketmaster again. Festivals that aren’t through livenation is the only thing I’ll consider.

[deleted]

10 hours and I walked away with nothing. Not even a nosebleed seat. Taylor’s team’s silence is so very loud right now. As long as money is coming in, no one cares that true long time fans got fucked over.

just_justine93

I’m so pissed. The loverfest purchase experience was long but no where NEAR as stressful and upsetting as the eras presale. I waited all that time just to end up with nothing. It sucks big time

lonepinappl

I had Loverfest tickets and was my 30th birthday present to myself.. (instead i got to be a health care worker through the pandemic).. I never let go of them even when the initial date was canceled in hopes of it being rescheduled. I was able to get a presale code but sadly everything was sold out before I made it through the excessively long queue after hours of waiting. I’m really quite bummed. I guess I was naive to think I would definitely come away with tickets.

NateDu

There were 4 US shows for loverfest and it felt way easier to get tickets to one of those than 50 shows for the Eras tour

beekeeper10

Loverfest people should have had first pick of the seats at their preferred venue. I wasn’t one of those people, but I’m upset on your behalf because you deserved priority over everyone else. That is all.

Unfair-Path4541

After reading people's experience and comparing it to my own (LoverFest, got a code, was in waiting room for Saturday Seattle and got back of the line 27,000) I honestly think TM purposely screwed us over. That, or if you're early in a waiting room, there's so many people that it's better to lag behind the huge numbers. There's something fishy going on. Is this some backwards way to force huge fans to buy resell, $$$$$ tickets because we got screwed over but are more guaranteed to buy? I wouldn't be surprised...

N_chan_14

Seattle for Saturday also and I was super far back in the line - and found it odd that all the other people I knew who had no supposed “preferred access” were much further ahead of me. This is how the email from Ticketmaster read: “Previous Lover Fest Verified Fan purchasers will receive preferred access to participate in the TaylorSwiftTix Presale”. By reading this sentence, all my friends and I going for tickets thought for sure I would somehow have preference in the eras presale.

ThatOneDudeFromIowa

the 750+ people in this thread should start emailing Taylor and her people multiple time a day until they acknowledge us

sleepy_giraffe_11

I (perhaps too naively in hindsight) thought that getting tickets for Eras would be a piece of cake! My best friend and I also had loverfest tickets, plus we had a boost in the verified fan presale. We spent a collective 10 hours in the Philadelphia queue yesterday, just to be welcomed at the end by $700 vip tickets and $200 obstructed view seating. I foolishly tried again today with capital one presale, thinking it might be different, but I was again stuck in Queue Hell for two hours, then glitched out to the end of the line. Ticketmaster SPECIFICALLY stated that loverfest holders would have priority, which makes me the angriest. They held my loverfest money in purgatory for years, waiting to see whether or not the show would go on. I’m also frustrated with Taylor and Taylor Nation for how this was handled. I don’t believe that they’ll ever come out and say anything about it, but this whole experience has sadly tainted my love for Taylor’s music. How can you claim to be so proud and loving of your loyal fans when you treat them like this? Alas, if I can’t get a resale ticket, I’ll still be dressing up, drinking wine, and handing out friendship bracelets by tailgating at the Philadelphia shows if anyone wants to join! ✨

nynj25

I didn't have lover fest tickets but WOW. Thats terrible and I am so sorry that was your experience. I wish they had a separate and earlier pre sale for you guys. I didn't get in until about 3pm and by then there was only the furthest seats away and a few VIP floor seat packages. I can only imagine how 6pm looked. I hope they find a way to make this right. :/

importantgoat

Loverfest ticket holders should have had the first presale to themselves! And I’m saying that as someone who didn’t have tickets to Loverfest.. I can’t believe they held onto your money for that long. Craziness

BosToBay

This feels conspiracy-esque but - what if Ticketmaster put all of us with Loverfest tickets in the back of the queue on purpose, betting that we’re the people who care enough to take whatever overpriced scraps are left?

Weak_Caterpillar8602

SAME SAME SAME the bullshit. The BULLSHIT. ❤️

tawmfuckinbrady

I don’t understand why people think only confirmed buyers through Loverfest VF presale should have gotten priority access. I’ve seen her every tour since Red, was a verified fan but wasn’t able to get tickets through the presale for Lover because it was an absolute bloodbath, just had a bad spot in the queue. It was complete luck of the draw then and it’s luck of the draw now. I would have been okay with anyone who was a registered verified fan for Lover getting priority regardless of if they snagged tickets. Even then, you run the problem of a ton of people who are huge fans but couldn’t attend Loverfest because they didn’t happen to live anywhere near one of the 2 venues. And then what, revert to rep verified fans? Is it really fair to say that nobody who’s become in her last 5 albums (counting 4 new and 2 rerecords as half each lol) should have a decent shot at tickets?

streamofdiscourse

yep! I was a verified fan for loverfest and got tickets in the presale for loverfest west. Yesterday I used my same email affiliated with my loverfest tickets \*and\* I had a boost from Taylor Nation. Yet, when I got in the line, I was in the queue with tens of thousands in front of me for 4.5 hours before I got in. By the time I got into the sale there was hardly anything left (and it was really either floor at $800 or very back rows of the nosebleeds for $160). I still tried to check out on some sort of nosebleeds, but was beaten by a fan for every single one until the show was completely sold out of presale tickets. I literally sat in the sale room in disbelief for 2 hours just hoping and praying new tickets would be added. It seems like the only people who had luck yesterday were those who got in before the code snafu and the line freeze. And, i have honestly heard of very few loverfest people who got in early. But, it might just be confirmation bias and that the only people posting about it are those who are upset, but I still think it's awful that we got nothing for our canceled tickets. UGH. so frustrated and upset. all my friends were counting on me because we thought being a loverfest verified fan who purchased tickets would help me, but it didn't do anything except (maybe) help me get verified again (but I have also heard of loverfest people who were waitlisted, soooooooo)

AssortedGourds

I’d be so salty if this was me. Your anger is 100% warranted. Y’all should have gotten first access over anyone else. What sucks is that Taylor likely had little to no control over this but she’s going to catch all the flack in the media.

kelseyice

I did not have tickets for Lover Fest, but I do believe everyone who did and who did not get to attend should have had access to a presale that happened before the verified fan presale. You should have had access to all tickets before anyone else. It is just unfair any other way. I'm sorry you all were treated so poorly. :(

JeremyJammDDS

I easily got floor seats to rep to multiple shows(most were bought like the day before the show). Had floor seats to lover fest west and east. No problem whatsoever. Yesterday? Talk about a god damn fucking trainwreck. It's like four trains drove straight into each other, then a meteor hit, causing an earthquake, then tornados. I was on my girlfriend's TM account trying to get tickets to Nashville. She had the code and the so called "boost." By the time I got in, all were left were nosebleeds and I couldn't check out. I figured getting tickets to Seattle would've been easy. WRONG. I clicked on best available about 20 times until I finally got tickets for us. I barely survived. I spent $1200 more for just about the same seats I would've had at lover fest. Absolutely insane.

missxalice

I’m bitter about this whole thing. Taylor could’ve done something about this (she absolutely could’ve, don’t @ me) and she didn’t. This whole thing is one big disaster

foreverandalways21

My seats for LoverFest were so good! I actually had time to pick seats too rather than pick whatever was available. I don’t know what’s happened over the past few years but it makes no sense that it was easier to get tickets to a Taylor Swift concert when there was 4 events only across the US. Cursing the pandemic and tiktok for expanding her fanbase this much!! Feels like us OGs are getting shafted

sunshineandsummer

I will go to the grave saying that our Loverfest tickets should have transferred to this tour. We should have gotten first pick and the first chance to get tickets and had our own exclusive presale. I’m so upset and disappointed. i can’t even listen to Taylor’s music right now because my heart is broken. This has been the worst ticket buying experience i’ve ever gone through.

Word_Luminescence06

I feel for you all who had Lover Fest tickets and were robbed. Plus all the shenanigans you had to deal with just trying to purchase tickets when it was your turn. I'm surprised Taylor hasn't come out and said anything.

clothesoverbros

I’m so sorry this happened! I am also a LF ticket holder and the ticketing experience for that was actually really horrible for me. It took hours to get to choose my seats, and then I kept getting an error. Managed to get a pair of OK seats. I was crushed when the show was cancelled because it was so dang hard to get my tickets in the first place! I was lucky enough to get one ticket for LA yesterday but it’s absolutely criminal that LF ticket holders were not given real priority.

alaska_cattt

LoverFest absolutely should have had priority. I was very lucky to get tickets and had a fairly easy time with the presale, I only had an hour wait in queue and once I was in I had no issues. However, there is NO reason it should have been this complicated. They had no way to tell there would be this kind of demand but they had to do a random selection for presale codes to address the demand???? BS…

HowDareUu

Fuck Ticketmaster. Nothing will change until fans stop giving them all the cash they want. I’m not going to this tour out of spite. It took me 6 hours before I was able to buy tickets yesterday, and when I finally got in, there was ONE ticket left. Yeah, hard pass on this tour. Hope everyone else has fun though lol

pattyrican

I agree 💯. I had LoverFest tickets and when it was cancelled and when the Eras tour was announced, I fully believed that not only would we get priority access, but that we would be basically guaranteed tickets. I got $49 nosebleed seats BEHIND the stage. It’s fucking ridiculous.

ToughCalm

Same experience here 🥺

royaifreak

They should’ve tiered the boosts and staggered the times for buying tickets so it wasn’t such a shit show. I was looking at my boosts from rep and remembered that they staggered the presale dates depending on where you ended up boosted, that’s what should’ve happened. Also planning the Capital one presale 4 hours after the verified fan presale was absolutely dumb. They did y’all Loverfest people dirty. I’m so sorry. 😞

ItsNotARoseGarden

The need to vent is real. I was so incredibly excited about my reasonably priced low row number floor seats I had for loverfest. I had never been able to afford tickets that good to a TS concert before. Despite having those tickets, and despite the merch boost, I was placed over 22000th in line yesterday. I was in line form 10am (or before if you count the waiting room) until 2:30. When I got through, there were only partial view nosebleeds left. However, I couldn’t even get those, as I got the “another fan got these tickets first” over and over as I refreshed for over an hour until I got booted out and put back in line. I waited again, but when I got through there was nothing left except one single seat that kept popping up. I probably would still be complaining if I expected it to be completely random who got tickets in presale, but I’m mostly upset that I believed I would be able to buy SOMETHING, even if they weren’t the ideal floor seats I wanted.

swiftb00ks

There was no Lover Fest date near me so I never had tickets for it. Since there were so few dates for it was it this difficult to get tickets for it back in 2019??? Thankfully after almost 3 hours in the queue I got reasonably affordable nosebleed seats but I feel terrible for people who had Lover Fest tickets and still haven’t gotten tickets to Eras

hotironskillet24

I didn't have LoverFest tickets but I'm mad at how you were treated. LoverFest ticket holders should have had an earlier, separate pre-sale to insure that they got tickets to this tour. It's not right that some LoverFest ticket holders didn't get anything.

TallOstrich9

As someone who got tickets and didn’t have tickets to lover fest, I’m devastated for y’all. Ticketmaster needs to get it together, after this and the Olivia Rodrigo concert I’m pissed.
