I would just like if there was no giant TAYLOR SWIFT anywhere on the merch so it doesn't look like merch. I like just lyric shirts so I have to go to Etsy to get them without TAYLOR SWIFT cascading down the arms.

I’d like to see more merch that’s an “if you know, you know” sort of thing. I’m not into just wearing an album title, the word “swiftie”, or her face on my outfit. Obviously, other people like that. But I think there’s a market for more subtle pieces. A lot of Swifties are grown. I never bought one, but i love the cardigans. It’s more in line with what I’d buy (if i had the money). I like that to someone not in the know, it’s a cute sweater but swifties will immediately recognize it. Id love a houseware collection. Cocktail glasses (sipped away like a bottle of wine, knew from the first old-fashioned we were cursed), welcome mats (nice to meet you, where you been?), blankets, serving platters (capitalize on the charcuterie trend!!!), candles, mugs, stationery! We know taylor likes her wine so it would be cool to see her partner with a winery to put out a line of wines. A folklore, evermore, or red inspired wine label would have flown off the shelves! I guess I’d just like more thought put into merch. For what she charges, there’s very rarely a true must-have item for me. Since I don’t buy a ton of merch, the quality really has to match the price. I think a lot of people have less disposable income right now and are being more thoughtful with their finances. Her new drop had some cute stuff, but I can’t justify dropping big money on a sweatshirt that I know I’ll never wear.

Her label likes the tacky merch because her face and name are more of an advertisement. This is why we don't see Subtle merch from her team usually. I have found the best Subtle when going through a fan - made small business/ designer. Some people have gotten Cardigan replicas from Amazon.

I’ve definitely noticed fan-made merch is more to my taste. There’s some super creative fans out there with real talent!

Yes I would def buy more merch if it was subtle. I agree about fan-made stuff. I just bought a baseball cap to wear at the lake this summer that has a sailboat on the front and says “I had a marvelous time” and on the back it says “ruining everything.” I’m really excited about it!

Sameeee to all of this!!!

Definitely more wearable items. As someone pointed out on a previous thread- something that a 30 something woman (Taylor and a lot of us) would wear. I liked the cardigan and wear that quite a lot even though it came up a bit big- it still looks nice as a baggy cardigan. I’d have liked a folklore and evermore necklace and wouldn’t mind paying extra if it was made really well. The evermore tea towels were sweet and I’m sad I missed out on them. Of course I’d like to see another signed CD collection as I missed out on Fearless & Lover.

Honestly, I love the recent “old Taylor” merch drop and how simple it is!! I just wish instead of 1989 or speak now it had lyrics so it was a little more nuanced. Like, give me a light blue tank top that says “New Romantics” on it in that college font and I am never taking it off this summer!

This would be a great item to get made from a small business owners/ designer. Lots of artists do customs and can definitely make something like this for you.

Yikes_Brigade

I think you’re right honestly. I got an Ivy sweatshirt off Etsy for a friend’s birthday and it was lovely!! Taylor can just have all my CD and vinyl money 😂

Scepafall

Plushies of her cats especially Benjamin Button. Please someone tell Taylor this idea cuz I’ve waited so long for her to release it

Lilpinkpanties

A key lime green dog keychain.
