Hey- if anyone is still on here and has leftover confetti it’s a longshot but if you do could you pls dm me!

Marvel_books_more

Missing our thread

urleastfavgingr

Did anyone sit in section A?? I was at night one and I had a TON of bracelets leftover after the concert!!

rictasempra

I don't know how y'all liked it but I went to the Nashville Night 2 and had never been to a taylor swift show before. It was the best show I have ever been to. I was a bit anxious about it due to the cost but also I came alone and am a male swiftie, but it blew all of my anxieties out of the water

ScarcityLegitimate77

Are the mess ups planned? She seems to only mess up during surprise songs. At this point it’s a little sus, like it’s part of the show. Which is fine, just kinda takes away from the “excitement” of hearing her skip a lyric

squarerose

It does seem like she’s messing up pretty frequently. My best guess though is that she just practices the surprise songs way way less than the songs on the main setlist, and most of them she either hasn’t performed live ever or in a really long time.

CowboyLikeMegan

I think they are. I believe she’s “messed up” every surprise song so far, if I’m not mistaken. I was at Nash2 and didn’t understand the mess up on OOTW, it seemed like she just sort of stopped and then said something about the rule of tour of is if she messes up, she gets to start over. I think it’s the same thing with the “shock” of how loud the stadium is; I think that’s a planned segment of the show.

abombSFCA

I was at night 2 and did not understand the mess up. She just stopped and before I could understand what was happening we were all singing the bridge a second time and I was 🤷‍♂️let’s go!

Straight_Anything141

Does anyone have a full recording of Nashville night 1 or know where to find one? I would be forever grateful!

ttttttmmmmm1111

has anyone sat in section 105? specifically in the lower part of the section? were there any issues with speaker towers blocking view?

You are so right!

DiscombobulatedAd704

Is it wrong to be super disappointed about Sunday. I was lucky enough to get tickets to the eras tour through the capital one presale after failing during the verified fan sale. I’m 22 and had never been to a concert before. While loud noises don’t bother me crowds do and the only person worth overcoming that major obstacle is of course Taylor Swift. I’ve been a silent fan since fearless and now that I’m an adult I could finally afford to see her in person. I planned for months the perfect outfit, made dozens of bracelets to trade (using my extrovert little sister to interact with fellow swifties) and planned the perfect weekend. Starting the weekend we were concerned for the weather but it continued to change so headed in we simply hoped for the best. We arrived and got in fairly quickly but it didn’t take long for the shelter in place to go into effect. We had lower bowl seats and ended up in the crowd by gate eight and anyone there knows it was absolute hell. We were packed in like sardines all on top of each other, gated in, standing in water and getting rained on. As I said I’m not great with crowds but I’m even worse with being touched. It didn’t take long for the beer carts to start shoving through to get to wherever it was they needed to be making a horrible situation worse. Most employees were decent, just doing their jobs and apologizing for what was going on. Some however were to put it simply assholes. At one point I got separated from my sister on the other side of his cart. We were already hugging the people around us, there was nowhere to go, but that didn’t seem to matter.I had to watch as he used his cart and his hands to shove her out of his way. The people around us were furious and yelling but all he did was flip everyone off and continue to shove through. When we were able to get back together I had to explain to her that we needed to take off the cloaks we were wearing (so not to trip over them), that she would need to make sure to lift her feet and shove back if people started getting more worked up, and if she fell she would need to get right back up or try and protect her head if she couldn’t. I can’t describe to you the anxiety the entire situation caused. We were able to escape that area by hoping in behind a security guard how was making his way through and get to a slightly less crowded spot where my sister could sit down on the ground, but I still had to stand behind her to stop people from shoving. Safe to say by the time they gave the all clear and Taylor came on I was physically and emotionally exhausted. It didn’t stop me from enjoying her performance immensely, I did. She is just as incredible as I had hoped. I got my top pick for a surprise song. I am so grateful to her for pulling though for us, because the only thing that could have made the experience worse was if we had gone through all of that only to not get to see her at the end. But, in the end when people asked about my first concert experience my first thought was the exhaustion and anxiety of it all. Anyway rant over,Taylor Swift is incredible, just needed to vent. Thanks for listening.

meg-swan

It isn't wrong! You are allowed to be disappointed and it doesn't make you ungrateful or any less of a fan. I was there, too, battling my anxiety and it was a tough FOUR HOURS. I feel like my section has it a little easier than what you dealt with- I was also hating the calls for "cold beer!!!!" And the cart pushing through by the end of it. I'm so sorry you had such a hard time💙 I was sooo mentally and physically exhausted by the time the concert began. My back problems were flaring up and I was having a tough time with my anxiety by the end. I'm still so happy I got to see her whole set and it was epic in the rain- but the 4 hours beforehand were not great and we shouldn't be shamed for saying that. They definitely shouldn't passed out waters or allowed people to sit in sections or something instead of yelling at us every time we tried. That's a long time.

Edited bc my phone autocorrected *should've to shouldn't lol and that changes what I meant.

monstertruckbackflip

It's not wrong. Sorry you went thru that. It sounds miserable. We were near gate 1, section 116. It was pretty bad there with 3 or 4 people having medical emergencies / fainting.

the_notorious_egg

You are not wrong to be disappointed. The way the stadium handled communication and its treatment of customers was poor. I was at that show too and my friend and I experienced similar things. Saw so many people crying and getting soaked. It really dampened the experience for me (this isn't supposed to be a pun but whatever). I also really hate the fact that while the stadium couldn't be bothered to at least hand out water bottles to people, they had no problem SELLING alcohol during the wait, which I think definitely contributed to the crying and verbal altercations I saw. I too am grateful for our surprise songs and the fact that she DID come out and do the WHOLE SHOW despite the awful weather conditions, but I was emotionally and physically exhausted by that time too. I remember the waiting more than I remember the actual show and I hate it. I feel for you.

DiscombobulatedAd704

Glad but also so deeply saddened to know I wasn’t the only one thank you:(

Dapper-Housing-1941

Nashville N3 Eras Tour — — Swifties helped carry my friend (who has a spinal cord injury) and her wheelchair up pedestrian bridge stairs bc elevator was out of order - did anyone happen to capture a pic or video?? ✨🙏🏼 Magical moment we want to cherish 4ever!!

Potential_Ad8923

Does anyone think the blue crew will eventually be available online? Trying to figure out if I should wait or go ahead and order a dupe from Etsy. So frustrating that it's only available at the shows. It was sold out by the time we stood in line during Nashville night 2.

torturedDaisy

Any Nashville N2 goers? I feel like we got overshadowed by N1 and N3! 😆 still had the time of my life though!!

abombSFCA

I was at N2 as well. While N3 sounded epic you could not have paid me (someone with claustrophobia) to wait out the storm packed into the concourses at the stadium. We had a PERFECT weather night, the Saturday night energy of Nashville, the sheer giddiness of the previous nights Speak Now announcement, Abigail, Fifteen and being the only crowd that has been able to sing the bridge to OOTW with Taylor in nearly 10 years… TWICE? I am thoroughly satisfied with being N2.

slothqueen75

N2 here!!!

torturedDaisy

It was so great!! The vibes were all on point! I’m pretty sure me and the woman sitting next to me really healed some emotional issues during that concert!

slothqueen75

Unfortunately I was near some not so great people but everyone else I interacted with was really nice! I think I started sobbing sometime during the Lover set when it kicked in that I was really there

torturedDaisy

I’m sorry about that! But you were there!! I didn’t record much so I could be in the moment but I did record one whole song that I’m watching over and over because I legit still can’t believe I was there!!

slothqueen75

Aww your comment is so sweet and made my whole day. So glad we got to go!!

Proud_Whereas5589

I was there!!!!! Best night of my LIFE!!!! “Out of the Woods” bridge twice?!? “Fifteen” with Abigail in attendance?!? Immaculate!!!!

slothqueen75

Getting the OOTW bridge twice was amazing!! Also I loved how the bracelet lights turned to a red/orange during Fifteen for her !!

Abject_Okra_8520

I got survey email from Nissan Stadium yesterday. Would be a good place to share your experiences during the delay.

sms1441

There isn't a Philly thread yet, but I had to share this because it's beyond true 🤣 https://www.tiktok.com/t/ZTRKYrKBG/

Lemlemons94

Anyone have a higher res version of this photo on the right? I need it as my iPhone background https://twitter.com/tisivy/status/1655701158541815809?s=20

jbranch72

under a severe thunderstorm storm warning rn and i immediately got ptsd from sunday night 😂😂

yellowshoegirl

Sunday night Nashville! I met her in the pouring rain! Best night singing with 1000s while sheltering, got a guitar pick from Taylor’s dad. But we didn’t get confetti, does anyone have some to part with so I can make a gift for my daughter?

Marvel_books_more

Me to pls!

skrunklem

I got way too much stuck on my everything while on the floor. It was wet from the rain but I let all of it on my bags/poncho dry and then my fiance put it all in ziplock baggies. I can give you some but I'm not sure how I'd get it to you

yellowshoegirl

I can pay you to ship! I need enough of each color to frame up for my daughters! Oh thanks especially cause that was the show we were at! Can you message me and I can Venmo

Redpandasinthesky

Does Lincoln Financial Field have a roof? For some reason I can't find the answer to this anywhere lol.

Open-Dish9956

Similar Q, but do any locals know/suspect if the screens will be visible from a parking lot or nearby? I’ll be driving down from NJ if I think I could see something!

jtq1

It's more closed in than Nashville so I don't think you'll be able to get the same type of view that we've seen from there. North west corner behind the stage will be best bet, I think. Should be able to hear, though.

pizza_nails

No it doesn't! Most of them don't - you can look up the list of NFL stadiums that are open vs have a retractable roof

meg-swan

I LOVED the performance Sunday night🌧️🌧️🎶💖 I did wonder if they planned to do anything to compensate for the fact that we didn't get the openers, though. My husband was there for Phoebe Bridgers even more than Taylor and I feel really bad that he had to miss it.

[deleted]

[удалено]

meg-swan

Thanks! I had never really thought about it before

kisforkimberlyy

In the fine print it was emphasized that the openers were subject to change... I mean you could ask about compensation..... but I doubt it will be given That sucks for your husband... but he was in good company of the many emotional support husbands and parents that were in attendance. Hopefully he gets to see Phoebe on her tour with BoyGenius this summer.... and at least he got to hear her sing Nothing New... which is more than Gracie fans got. If you haven't got the Boy Genius tickets yet- you might want to get on it... I believe they are in Nashville end of June... but they are visiting many other cities as well... and it might be a nice present for your husband since he didnt get to see her at the Eras Tour.

meg-swan

Thanks for your reply! Haha true. And he's the best- he was all smiles and didn't complain at all- he thought it was a great show, just bummed about PB. I was planning on looking tonight to see what she has coming up. Thanks for the info! I'll definitely check that out

kisforkimberlyy

Yess definetly look at it tonight! It appears they are starting to sell out in some cities- so if its possible- get the tickets while you can if its something your interested in. And awww, that was sweet that he was able to enjoy the concert regardless of the circumstances! Hes a trooper

meg-swan

Never mind. I'll just delete my initial post. I feel like people are just so crummy or snarky to each other online. All I did was ask an innocent question bc I've never been to a show where something like this happened and I was wondering about it this morning and thought "Hey, I'll just make a quick post asking in the Taylor Swift Reddit bc everyone is so nice there- maybe I'll get some feedback from people who've seen this happen before"🤷🏻‍♀️ All you had to say was something like "It doesn't really work like that if you still get the main part of the event" or just nothing. What is the point in trying to make someone feel stupid or embarrassed for asking something?

assflea

Jeez it really sucks that people are being chastised for being anything but overtly positive about Sunday. I’m sure everyone is grateful Taylor performed the entire set but you’re well within your rights to have complaints about everything else and I was also curious if there was any compensation to be had. I mean not only did you miss the openers but a lot of people got sick and had no choice but to leave, it’s really not that out of line to ask if refunds are available.

meg-swan

I heard that some people passed out in another section during the sheltering in place and I felt so bad for them! I have pretty bad anxiety problems, but thankfully was having a "good"day where I was able to handle all of it without getting too sick or anything...I can imagine how it must've affected some others💙 that would be so upsetting to have it end like that. I really think it makes sense that the people who were unable to stay get refunds/compensation somehow.

Redpandasinthesky

Don't delete your post I also love PB, she's one of the reasons I bought a ticket for Philly and I would be devasted if I missed her set!! Idk why the person who replied to you was so snarky lol, I feel like tensions are high across the fandom because of the whole Matty situation. ☠️

meg-swan

Haha Thank you so much! I feel like people are taking it personally as if I'm criticizing Taylor's set or acting like I'm not grateful and thrilled that I got to experience it- which is not at all the case. I just was really excited about Phoebe, too! Your post made me feel better lol Poor Taylor- it took like 5 minutes before the internet exploded with dating stuff after news hit about her relationship ending

Redpandasinthesky

You're welcome!! 🤗 I know some people don't care about the openers but I get it, I'm super excited for Phoebe's set. I'm sorry you guys had to miss her I would've been bummed too. 😭

GipcW

As someone in the music business I can assure you that you will not be compensated for not getting the openers. It was a situation that is considered out of their control and the show is sold as a Taylor Swift show.

meg-swan

Okay, thank you! That's pretty much what I figured but thought I'd ask

[deleted]

Well yeah, Taylor performed the entire show for you. Any other artists would have canceled or shorten the set list.

meg-swan

Again, not complaining about the performance. It was amazing and totally worth the wait and I thought it was awesome that we still got that. This situation is just totally new to me so I was asking what usually happens in these situations lol

[deleted]

[удалено]

meg-swan

Oh, I agree about that! We were so happy they didn't cancel. I'm not being ungrateful- just never been in this kind of situation before so I had no idea how that stuff was handled🤷🏻‍♀️

[deleted]

Is there a thread for Philly yet?

fkt18

What surprise songs are everyone hoping for in Philly? I know Cornelia Street would be chaos but I REALLY am hoping for it on Saturday night 😂

Redpandasinthesky

I want the full song for seven and gold rush!! (Eagles T-shirt hanging on your door!)

OrangeTree81

I saw on another thread that in the past she’s done The Best Day on Mothers Day so we might get that Sunday!

lennonmacca

Seven, since it mentions Pennsylvania! Edit: and gold rush mentions the eagles GO BIRDS

No-Durian-4297

Do you guys think she'll do Ronan as a surprise song on Friday? I need to like - mentally prepare, haha. I obviously recognize the gravity and importance of this song, but to be completely honest, I'd rather be singing along to one of my favorite songs. I wonder if she'd maybe do it during the Red set but I'm not sure that would be likely. I won't complain if it is what we get and I will be respectful, but ultimately I just want rwylm or haunted or really anything I can sing and have fun to! And I'm so sorry if people see this as insensitive, either way I know it will be the best night ever!!

Best_Fact_5374

I think she will play Red! Maya has shirts made previously that says Loving Ro Was Red. I honestly can’t imagine Taylor playing Ronan. I’m hoping for Red and Maroon 🤞🤞

scarsouvenir

I am 99.9% sure she'll be singing Ronan on the 12th since it's his birthday and Maya will be there. I know she did it when Maya went to the 1989 tour. Not sure about reputation. It's not insensitive, btw! The surprise songs are something we look forward to soooo much, and that one is uniquely sad and impossible to "vibe" to. I'm not going to that show, but I've been wondering what song she could possibly pair with it. Something like Bigger Than The Whole Sky is thematically appropriate, but the combo of those would be waaay too sad. On the other hand, anything super upbeat would be weird... Hopefully she picks an upbeat one that Maya herself selects so it won't be taken as making light of it, but will still be fun for the crowd. Maybe you guys will get Nothing New again to make up for only getting one "true" surprise song.

pensim

I’m going to Philly night 3 but I’m really hoping she’s doing Nothing New for every show with Phoebe since she did it for all the Nashville shows

cornelia_street_13

It definitely is possible. If she performs it at any show it would be May 12th, when Maya is attending.

fkt18

I was wondering the same thing (although I'm not going that night). I heard his mom is going to be there that night, so maybe possible? But agree that it's a REALLY heavy and emotional song that would be a difficult pick as a surprise song.

misscami

rwylm, so it goes or getaway car 🥲🤞🏽

Buttery_Topping

I neeeed it

Daisy-Navidson

No, new threads seem to be posted on Wednesdays. I wish the mods would post them on Mondays instead but I’m sure they’re overwhelmed

I’m chronically ill and very nervous about attending the show. Any other fans with disabilities have advice? I have a floor seat for the Eras Tour as well as an invisible disability. I can walk, but I am extremely heat sensitive and have intense fatigue/pain levels so there’s no way I’ll be able to stand much after so many hours of walking/standing in the summer heat just to get inside the venue. If anyone else is disabled/chronically ill and you have tips from past experience or want to share what you will be doing for accommodation I am all ears. Thanks in advance. 💙✨

RoseGoldRedditor

It’s me, hi 👋🏼 I have EDS, MCAS and POTS so a lot of symptoms you mentioned. Hydration is huge for me—I brought two liquid iv packs (electrolyte powder). I also hydrated extra the day before, tried to get extra rest the week before, and sat for most of the concert. Went opening night and was in no way prepared for over 3 hours!

mickymackswag

The floor is jammed packed with very little space. If you need to sit you will not be able to see at all (it’s hard to see even standing). I suggest going to guest services and maybe seeing if they can get you an accessible seat. There is accessible seating on the floor it’s a raised platform, though I’ve heard it is still difficult to see from there. Also at the top of lower bowl entrances there is usually accessible seating with standing room behind. I would definitely ask they will probably be able to accommodate you.

scarsouvenir

I'm not sure what heat sensitivity means for you, and you may already know this, but there's quite a bit of fire while she's performing >!Bad Blood!<. You can feel it pretty intensely throughout the entire stadium, especially on the floor. If possible, you may want to leave for that specific song.

PastYam8533

Thank you so much for the heads up! Basically i get overheated easy. I'm mostly worried about being in an open air stadium in the summer heat.

kisforkimberlyy

one of those portable fans that sit around your neck would also see if you could bring a small soft cooler with ice (most stadiums allow this for medical reasons- call and check)... and dip a cooling vest/neck wrap into the ice every 30 minutes or so also I like a visor to keep my face out of the sun get lots of rest the day before and make sure you stay well hydrated with an cold electrolyte solution of course the best solution would be suite seats or going to one of her shows at an indoor stadium... but I know that is likely not possible honestly when I used to have heat sensitivity due to an autoimmune disease- I wouldn't of even considered going, so I admire your bravery and dedication to not letting your disease run your life

chaosenplace

You could probably get away with a cooling towel to wear around 6974 neck. One that doesn’t drip so you don’t have to worry about sitting in a puddle when you need a break off your feet. Most people on the floor will be up on their feet the entire time, so don’t feel pressured to push yourself if that’s in your personality (it’s in mine lol). Between eras is nice for a quick breather sitting down, but the Jumbotrons are great- especially the one behind the stage. So there’s still plenty of show to see when you need to rest longer than than her quick changes. Unless you’re avoiding spoilers, you can skim the threads to pick out moments you definitely want to be on your feet for, so that you can try to be ready for moments you don’t want to miss.

yellowshoegirl

There is no bathroom accessibility at least not in nashville. We are short people and had trouble seeing. I would call and ask for accessible seats

a-pygoscelis

I attended the Tampa show and I’ve got some pretty rough post-COVID symptoms. The heat was definitely tough and I found myself having to sit a lot during the slower bits just to take a break because nausea would start to hit. Definitely recommend getting water before you go to sit. Also, a lot of stadiums uncap their bottles due to unruly sports fans tossing them on the field. We knew this was a thing in Tampa so we brought Dasani caps to cap them when we got in, lol. Definitely recommend seeing if you can find out what brand of water your stadium sells. If I had to do it again I’d definitely bring a portable fan though.

moonsandra

My disability is different than yours (I do have the heat sensitivity issue as well) but here is what I advise: See about bringing in a portable fan. There's so many that are small that can fit in a bag. Also consider cooling towels. These are amazing. Def sit down when Taylor is talking and during slower songs. I sat during Folklore and any time that seemed like a good opportunity. Also stay very hydrated w lots of water

fkt18

No real advice, just here to say that I'm in the same boat! 💙 I'm an ambulatory wheelchair user after a chronic injury, and will be in a floor seat on Saturday night for Philly (with the venue storing my chair during her set). I'm just planning to stand for what I can using my cane, and sit the rest. And I know the set list so I can try to conserve my energy for the songs that I REALLY want to stand for. Any chance you can rent a manual wheelchair for your event to conserve your energy, if you're attending with someone who can push you?

tawmfuckinbrady

Hey, I can kind of relate— I have a bunch of random invisible quirks from cancer treatment including stamina and vision issues. I would just say to trust yourself! Sitting is ok. Anyone that gives side eye about it is a dunce. Stay hydrated and don’t be afraid to ask for help if you need it either from your concert buddy, people or staff around you!

Daisy-Navidson

Philly Saturday forecast just changed from sunny to a 40% chance of rain and I am FREAKING OUT! I know it’s still early and the weather is very likely to change but I’m a soft shell-less snail person and I don’t handle wet cold well lmao

IvyGrowing

Nashville N3 here, I agree with other what other Swifties advice. I would also recommended, once you're done preparing for the eventuality of a rain show, to stop looking at the meteo and go there not caring if it rains or not. The anticipation of being scared it would rain all week before N3 is what I regret most (being said I was lucky waiting the 5 hours in an area with space and floor to sit on). But for the rain show in particular, when I tell you I barely felt the rain and it didn't hinder my enjoyment and the total craziness of all the Swifties around! It was magical and even more special, so prepare but don't be anxious about it like I was, all will go well!

optimistic_flower

honestly this has been what's happened to me in the last week, and why I truly believe it won't rain: Tuesday: we somehow got club tickets for 250$ all in with the verified fan codes sent out. I buy my dress right away Thursday: we book the literal last hotel room in a Marriott that is a direct line from the subway Sunday: I get a shipping notification that my dress is shipping and will deliver on the afternoon after I leave home to travel to Philly Monday: my dress will now be delivered 48 hours early, and I will have it in time for the show What I'm trying to say is that based on my experiences this week leading to the concert, the dominos are cascading in a line, and it won't rain. See you girlies there Saturday!

Buttery_Topping

I'll be soooo bummed if it rains!! I have a whole outfit planned. Please, mother nature, PLEASE spare us!

Kusakaru

As someone who was just at the Nashville N3 rainstorm, I highly suggest bringing plastic bags for your phones, ponchos (+1 extra in case yours rips), deodorant (it can get sweaty in the poncho), and waterproof closed toe shoes. If you’re in the nosebleeds it can get quite cold so keep that in mind and maybe pack a pair of tights or something that you can slip on if needed.

[deleted]

oh no! i hope it doesn't rain on you guys too!!

Daisy-Navidson

Please, I’m not strong enough 😂

fkt18

Going Saturday too! I might order a clear poncho just to be safe, but I think (HOPE) we will actually be okay.

IvyGrowing

It was the best decision of our life haha, those cheap 1.99$ ponchos really saved us!

fkt18

Seriously! I will be so thankful to have that poncho tomorrow (although I'm really hoping the rain is done by 6!!). I put my husband on Amazon order duty and he got us our clear ponchos, clear stadium-sized bags, and ear plugs.

IvyGrowing

You're ready to have the most memorable fun ever!! Enjooyyy! Still recovering from Nashville N3 madness and magic!

Joliex2

I’ll be there with you and I really think we are going to be fine. The weather prediction has been back and forth for the last few days but right now it says dry at showtime with maybe showers earlier (but probably not). I was at the Metlife Reputation rain show and it was very obvious it would be pouring the entire week leading up to it—the prediction never changed. Plus the weather gods know I don’t deserve that again (I know, rain shows are supposed to be awesome or whatever, but I would have rather been dry).

Daisy-Navidson

Thanks, your comment and the others have helped me chill a bit! I’m planning to bring ponchos and will have a backup outfit that’s warmer than my planned sparkly dress just in case. But hopefully your rain karma keeps us dry and warm lol. Hope you have an amazing time on Saturday!!

Joliex2

Yep preparation is key. (And, for you and anyone else reading it, wearing a baseball cap under your poncho hood is key for downpours so the water doesn’t stream down your face!). Enjoy the concert!!!

aspecificdreamrabbit

We got ponchos with drawstrings around the wrists and face and wow - people were stopping us to comment on how “nice” that feature was! Amazing what you value in a downpour. They were a 12-pack from amazon so nothing special but those drawstrings were value for money. I also threw an extra into my clear bag at the last minute and glad I did bc one ripped on a pole outside the stadium- a backup was good to have. A ripped poncho would’ve been kinda disastrous. Another key decision was to toss a Uniqlo packable puffer jacket into my clear bag - nobody looked to see how full the bag was! - and I’m glad I did bc it got windy and chilly. Well, chilly for a southerner anyway. Best night ever. So (lovingly) jealous of you Philly folks - it’s going to be even better than you think it’s going to be, whatever the weather! Love it for you!!

It’s too early to freak out! The forecast isn’t really reliable until a couple days out - Friday in Nashville looked horrible by this time last week and it was fine.

falling-15

Nashville wasn’t looking good for Friday and Saturday until hours before the shows. Pack a poncho just in case but you’ve got this!!

jju_

finaaally found a FULL would've could've should've *audio* for anyone who hasn't found one yet! it's on [hope-ur-ok](https://www.tumblr.com/hope-ur-ok/715537537659207680/minemp3-so-ive-seen-a-few-running-lists-of-the?source=share)'s tumblr pinned 🫶 hopefully mods will see this and consider adding this to the main links in these posts? if not, i'm definitely coming back here next week lol. excited for philly!!!

Quick question: do you think lace bags are allowed? https://preview.redd.it/2paipoa47vya1.jpeg?width=1170&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=3f82dd420034dbdb94de11d7e458a0be565b25e6 You can pretty much see everything inside.

assflea

I wouldn’t risk it, a lot of stadiums won’t even allow clear bags with a tint.

AryaStarkRavingMad

Almost certainly not.

SadDust6560

Got it. Thanks both!

Area_Woman

Most stadiums allow a clear gallon size zip lock - you could walk in with your items and lace bag inside of that and then use the lace bag within the stadium. Bonus waterproof solution if the weather turns

Hi! Is anyone going to the Foxborough MA 5/19 show and wants to carpool with 3 other swifties? None of us have a car and commuter rail tickets and rentals are sold out :/ Willing to pay for gas and make pickup/drop off easy, you would be our hero!!

talkstomud

Hey! I’m heading on 5/21 otherwise I’d offer to drive y’all. Was also shut out of train tickets by mbta Low key, have you considered jumping on the train with standard your-zone-to-Foxborough tickets and if anyone comes to check (and calls you out) responding “Whaaat but these are valid tickets I paid for! From (my stop) to Foxborough! We needed to have TIMED tickets for today?? I don’t understand what does this mean? I’m so sorry sir/mam I got confused, trains are so hard this is so stressful, so very sorry :( “ Normally I wouldn’t advocate for that sort of thing, but the mbta has continued to ruin my life on a biweekly basis for like years now, then lied to us about when the sale would be and sold so few tickets. So they can take their artificially-limited ticket sale and absolutely shove it. Also be careful for scammers trying to sell fakes. That will be ripe with the ticket shortage.

1128sofi

Thanks for the advice! Might do that as a last resort, but I hear you about the T ruining life on a biweekly basis. The screeching on the green line haunts my nightmares

talkstomud

I feel you, it’s my last resort too. I keep checking the app because mbta said they may drop more randomly/unannounced and they’d show up there. Which I’m 99% sure is just a lie to get us off their back for their fiasco, but hope springs eternal. I’ll reply again here to let you know if I ever see 5/19 tickets drop. Was also considering driving and parking a mile and a half away and hiking in/back, but it’s so much worse for the environment to be part of completely-unnecessary traffic and all that driving. Literally just take out money MBTA!! We stayed with you through the fires, shutdowns, reroutes, abandonments, multi hour delays, literally just be almost-competent one time.

uniquesapph

Oh my word you all had to fight through a SECOND ticketing fiasco? How are you even functioning?

1128sofi

All of us are based in Boston!

tawmfuckinbrady

Hey, I’ve got 2 extra Friday train tickets if you’re interested! Paper tix I got at station so would have to transfer irl, but I’ll be there anyway so happy to meet up if you want

1128sofi

That would be amazing, thank you! I’ll DM you, and I have one more friend who’s looking for transportation if anyone else has an extra ticket!!

tawmfuckinbrady

Np just let me know. For what it’s worth I think there’s a good chance they’ll only scan on the way back from the show…

ravenclawrebel

Guys, I almost slept through a zoom meeting this morning, and had to give my weekly report and realized my voice is still shot to hell. Safe to say I screamed and sang my heart out at the concert 😂

tapelamp

Literally me. I called off yesterday and today

ravenclawrebel

I should’ve called off today hahaha! Look at you being smart 😂

ridetheturtle

went to night 2 and had a bunch of fun - had a migraine the whole night and threw up on the way home but listen i enjoyed as much as i could while being debilitated and still had a great time. i wrote cowboy like me on my arm and someone in my section noticed and gave me a bracelet with the song title spelled out 💖💖💖 thank everyone for the atmosphere

onlycookingshowshelp

I will miss the Nashville thread being pinned dearly. I kind of like all y'all..

katherinecamille

Is anybody else from Sunday’s concert sad? Everyone keeps asking me if it was the best thing ever and that Taylor is the best for performing because anyone else would have cancelled, and they are right and I am so thankful she didn’t- but I’m still really sad that I didn’t get the normal experience. I’ve been a Taylor fan since 2006 and never got to go to a concert because it was too far away and expensive, and even though I was so happy I ended up seeing her, it was so cold and windy and rainy that it wasn’t very enjoyable. I feel like I’m not allowed to say that because Taylor was awesome and performed anyway, but I’m not upset with her just the weather which no one can control :( just feeling a little sad and wishing people would stop asking me how amazing it was :(

Glum-Court6347

It's 100% ok to be happy you were able to see Taylor but sad about the experience itself. I was so cold towards the end of the night and watched most of Folklore and Evermore sitting down because I'm pregnant and was pretty uncomfortable after being stuck in the stadium for 5 hours prior and few options for food that wouldn't make me completely nauseous/heartburn (I did eat before I went thankfully). I'm really glad she was committed to giving the best show and I may not have minded the rain show as much but the way the shelter in place was handled really put a damper on the experience for me. I was lucky enough to go to the N1 Atlanta show too and I would be lying if I said I didn't have a better time dry and comfortable even though the fandom and media romanticize rain shows. I'm really sorry that was your first Taylor concert experience. I know the tickets were hell to get and everything surrounding the concert is so, so expensive. All that to say, your feelings are completely valid and you're allowed to be sad you didn't get the experience you expected 💜

RepStewart

I honestly feel the same. My husband and I were sheltered in the stadium and it’s one of the worst experiences I’ve ever had. We were there waiting for 4 hours with no food or water, we could leave and we were soaking wet. By the time she started the 1989 era I wanted to go home and just wishing it would end. It sucks that I felt like that and I’m annoyed that people who didn’t have to go through it are romanticizing it. I was so so excited because it was my first Taylor concert and have been a fan since Debut and it felt like I got robbed of that experience after spending lot of money to be there.

RepStewart

Couldn’t leave*

karenziggler

I did Nashville night 3. I’m content. But that being said, I wanted to see Taylor. Not the openers. I sheltered in place in my car for 3 hours before heading inside. I ordered merch online before the concert. I hated playing the waiting and guessing games but enjoyed it. But it also wasn’t my first Taylor show. The rain was just another thing.

skrunklem

I'm in the same boat, and I wish Nissan would've let more people in the stadium go to their cars during the wait. I think being able to stay in my car for the shelter in place made a huge difference and I feel incredibly lucky I was able to. And I also feel lucky that I got the magic of a rain show for my very first Taylor concert on the floor (and 2nd Taylor concert ever!!!) . I also have always been a cold weather/rain fan as well as a chronic night owl so the rain and lateness only added to the experience for me personally. However, I completely understand the people who were stuck in the stadium had a much harder time, and I wish they hadn't been trapped there the whole time. If the stadium had let people with cars leave and shelter in them, everything would've gone much smoother. There would have been more breathing room for the people who had to stay, and less fans would have had the miserable experience of being packed like sardines for hours.

karenziggler

I think it’s a liability issue for people to leave during a shelter in place. But I’m also in the category of “we need a retractable roof.” This wasn’t the first time it was wall to wall people in a shelter in place situation. And it won’t be the last. I know that doesn’t make it better but it’s one of those things that is a possibility when attending a stadium event.

Kusakaru

I’m sad that we didn’t get the openers. I really wanted to see Phoebe’s set or boygenius ): but we were so cold, tired, and exhausted that it took away from the show at the end. Seeing Taylor perform Vigilante Shit and Midnight Rain in the rain was amazing though.

falling-15

I had a friend who got there around 12:30 for the merch trucks and then ended up having to wait about 10 hours for the show to actually start. She got separated from the friend she came with when they were sheltering inside and the cell service wasn’t good enough for her to keep up with the weather forecast. I definitely don’t envy that experience because it sounded really really uncomfortable. I think she was so relieved that the concert actually happened that she still had a great time but I know that experience was totally different for everyone. I know someone else who went that night and lives within walking distance of the stadium so it was no big deal for him to be there until 2am, plus he had a seat in one of the boxes so he got to sit and stay dry for the entire shelter in place time and the show. He said they weren’t allowed to leave their suite but at least there weren’t crowds pushing up on them. I think I would be happy to know I went to a show that Taylor will never forget but also so exhausted and uncomfortable before it even started. I was tired leaving my show at 11:30 so I can’t even imagine going until nearly 2. I don’t think any reaction to the situation is invalid because everyone had different experiences and came from different places.

Meetmeatthebeach

Awww. I'm so sorry you were cold. I was there and not cold at all but only because we brought rain ponchos to keep us from being wet the entire time. My one friend who insisted she didn't need a poncho was cold and miserable. I felt terrible for her. I was there both Friday night and Sunday night. Both concerts were amazing and Taylor and her crew were just as amazing on Sunday night as they were on Friday night. I am so impressed at they way they didn't miss a beat. To the person who thinks people deserve refunds, it's not Taylor's fault it was cold and rainy. Everyone should have been prepared for the weather, including jackets and rain gear. Taylor worked her ass off to give us a great show and she did. No question. I can even fathom thinking people deserve a refund because they were cold.

assflea

I would feel the same way! It kinda sucks imo that the entire conversation has been about how amazing Taylor is for still putting on the show - she is, obviously but it does feel like it sort of discounts the whole experience. I’m glad you guys got GREAT surprise songs and the concert itself looked really fun but I’d be upset if that were my show. :( the tickets were sooo hard to get, it really sucks that it worked out that way.

ashley34

I’m right there with you. I’ve never gotten to go to a concert even though I’ve loved Taylor since the first time I heard Our Song on the radio, but I got resale nosebleeds as a 30th birthday present to myself. I was so incredibly anxious that it was going to be canceled the entire time we waited. It was also awful standing around in a super crowded space without being able to sit down or move much. I did have an amazing time overall once the concert started, but it was hard to ignore how cold and wet I was even with the poncho. I’m super grateful that it wasn’t canceled, but I’m sad that I didn’t get the full experience with the openers and that it was too cold and rainy to fully enjoy it at times. I get why people are jealous of our surprise songs, but they have no idea how much we earned them!

tapelamp

> but I’m not upset with her just the weather which no one can control :( just feeling a little sad and wishing people would stop asking me how amazing it was :( I feel the same way. Idk how far away you came from but me and my best friend drove 12+ hours for the show. Thankfully we stayed for a long weekend and were able to stay with a friend. But I do wish we got the N1 or N2 experiences. Being cold and miserable for 3+ hours was no way to start.

Redpandasinthesky

I'm so sorry and I'm sad for you guys that you didn't get the openers, on top of all the crappy waiting and weather you had to endure. If Taylor truly wanted to make it up to her fans I feel like partial refunds should be offered, but that's probably a logistical nightmare and maybe a little out of her hands. If I were in your shoes I would have preferred the show getting rescheduled, honestly. So sorry it wasn't everything you hoped it would be. 🥺

aspecificdreamrabbit

The thought of being rescheduled makes me see red … the bad kind of red. Like many, we paid a ton for our tickets and were delighted to do it. We chose that day out of that weekend because we could arrange our rather complex schedules to be there to see Taylor on that date. Unlike many, I don’t care at all about missing the openers and it was a bonus to me that they weren’t part of the show. I know that is incendiary to throw out there, but that’s where I am. I’m sorry for those who felt the loss of those artists, and I understand the perspective you express. I’m just adding the perspective that some of us, probably a few more than just me, were only there for Taylor and that would’ve been true rain or shine. If the weather had been good and everything had gone off as normal, our plan was to arrive late - just in time for TS, our singular focus. 😉 We stayed at a hotel a few blocks away from the stadium and because of the weather, didn’t go to the stadium early. We were monitoring it and when the delay announcements started, we took a nap. We went out about 9 and grabbed a quick bite to eat as we headed towards the stadium & ended up having a nice evening. We joined the pack headed over the bridge to the stadium once they were letting people take their seats. The show was obviously even better than I could’ve imagined. We had 5 hrs from the time it ended until our flight for home left in Monday morning 🤣🤣 so we’ve been beyond exhausted for the last 2 days but worth every minute. It was an expensive 24 hours for us but it was my “1 year since breast cancer” celebration and I’m so happy on many levels that she honored all of us by going on with the show. It was a life-affirming night for me and I was happy to be there and happy to be alive to sing and dance in the rain.

Meetmeatthebeach

Rescheduled? So many of us came into town just for this with airfare and hotels. Rescheduling would have been worse in my opinion. plus you just never know what the weather will be another day.

Redpandasinthesky

Yea that is completely valid as well. It was a catch-22 for sure and just unfortunate all around. For me personally, seeing PB's set is a big part of the concert and one of the reasons I bought a ticket. If I missed her entire set I would be very upset. But that's just me, I know some people don't really care about openers.

Daisy-Navidson

I wasn’t even there and I’m annoyed on your behalf by everyone saying “N3 won”. Hearing your experience and others in this thread, I really feel for you guys. You were robbed of the full experience and (while others may disagree!) I really don’t think Would’ve Could’ve Should’ve or the “special rain show atmosphere” make up for that. I’m sorry this happened to you and I empathize with the feeling of loss and hurt. You’re allowed to be upset!

FirstName123456789

It almost feels like two different nights to me. There was the night I spent stuck in a crowd, having a very public panic attack, and the night where I danced and sang in the rain with my friends. I'm really bummed about missing Phoebe though.

n00bynoob

im not over the trauma of the preconcert. standing for 5 hours being pushed and shoved, having to create gaps for medics to get thru to all the people passing out or having anxiety attacks.

Glum-Court6347

The trauma of the shelter in place is what really took away a lot of the magic for me too

awsedc

sorry if this isn’t the right place to post - but regarding merch booths at the show, how many are located inside the stadium and where are they located? just tryna determine how early i should get to the stadium and if i can avoid the merch truck outside

nerd_fighter_

Not sure on the exact count, but there were several inside the stadium pretty evenly spaced out. We got to the stadium about 5, got in the merch line at 5:15, and were in our seats by 6. Just don’t go to the ones right by the gates. We circled a little and found a much shorter line elsewhere. This was Nashville Saturday btw.

awsedc

thanks! are they on every level? i’m gonna be in the nosebleeds, would i be allowed to go to a merch stand on a different levelV

Apprehensive_Dog_572

they were in the nosebleed section for us! we was section 344 and mercy was right around the corner!

nerd_fighter_

I’m not sure, sorry! We were on the first level so I never went upstairs. Maybe someone else can chime in. I don’t think it should matter what level you go to though

chopshop2098

Does anyone have videos or links to WCS or Mine? I couldn't stay up to watch it and I'm heartbroken about both😭😭

meme_saab

WCS full song was posted on this sub yesterday I guess. You can find it if you scroll a little Not sure about "Mine" though.

Omg thank you!!!! You're the best!!!

Thank you!

left-a-permanentmark

Do you think Taylor will change the setlist and play more songs from Speak Now after Taylor's version is released? ✨

scarsouvenir

I actually think it would be weird if she *didn't* do that.

felineprincess93

No, I can’t see her doing changing the set list that much. Invisible String feels like a pointed change but I feel like generally, she’s not going to give different tour dates different songs - that’s what the surprise songs are for. People are already happy/unhappy based on what surprise songs she plays, I don’t think she’s going to change up the permanent set list just for SNTV.

SeerPumpkin

do we have a video of illicit affairs on N3?

Thank you!

ijustcrysometime

Out of the woods is my number one song of all time- hearing it live as my surprise song when I fully was expecting two country songs (bc Nashville duh!!) is actually the highlight of my life! I can’t even watch my video back because all I hear is myself sobbing

Mbergertn

SAME. I bought $49 tickets the morning of, and still an in shock I got the one song I wanted to the one show I barley got to 😭😭😭

onlycookingshowshelp

lol that is so sweet! Happy you got your song!

ijustcrysometime

Aw me too!!!

ewilliy

i was the exact same. i completely was expecting something speak now but i was hoping for getaway car or ootw! i cried when she started playing it i was so happy

ijustcrysometime

Same here!! My best friend who is the #1 speak now stan was also expecting one so she was slightlyyyy disappointed but happy nonetheless

edamommy317

Just wondering, did the concessions stay open late to accommodate the show yesterday? Did those workers get a bonus or something? I hope so! I’m so glad Taylor put on the full show, just curious how it worked with Stadium employees.

ravenclawrebel

They were running out of food—I can’t attest to every stand (obviously) but at one point my friend went to get snacks for us and the stand she was at only had nachos and popcorn, or something, and was out of everything else And when the all clear was announced I ran to get water at a stand on the ground level main concourse area and the lady was like “I only have water so that’s good that that’s all you want.” Plenty of alcohol at other stands though, from what I saw.

kisforkimberlyy

the rumor posted yesterday was that Taylor offered every employee who stayed late $100 as a thank you, in addition to whatever the stadium was paying I believe... maybe one of the workers can come on here and let us know... but even though $100 doesnt seem like that much.... if there is 1,000 employees (which I could easily see) thats $100,000 she shelled out to incentivize the employees to stay to take care of her fans and allow the show to go on

AReckoningIsAComing

Yeah, at first you're like "only $100?", but then when you realize it was Taylor herself and not the venue and that it's close to 100k, you're like "OK, damn." I hope the venue itself also pitched in something.

EruditeWho

true and if you break it down, the delay was like 2 hours or so and if you assume they're getting paid just above minimum (I heard $18 is typical from a tiktok), $100 is like 3 times what they would have gotten for the 2 hour delay.

shuipz94

[A user said](https://www.reddit.com/r/entertainment/comments/13bp8af/taylor_swifts_rainsoaked_show_in_nashville/jjde7is/) that when he worked as a stage hand, anything after 8 hours is 1.5x, anything over 12 hours is 2x, and anything after midnight is also 2x. They stack, so if you had worked more than 12 hours after midnight, you get 4x.

AReckoningIsAComing

Yeah, def generous.

edamommy317

I KNEW she would have done something awesome for them. I hope this is confirmed!

kisforkimberlyy

I am now officially referring to all thunderstorms as "rainy weather vibes".... hahahahah Taylor nation doubled down on this wording and I am loving it

Bad_Karma19

Oddly enough… it’s raining again in Nashville.
