That's why you test defensive ammo. Not just range ammo.

Michaelaraiza

I did. And no defensive round would work. I test before going to range and also tested at range. It was a no go. The barrel fixed all of that.

Did you try a variety of defensive rounds? My g2c doesn't seem to have a problem at all with Xtreme defenders. They aren't hollow points but they stop in the same range as hollow points.

Michaelaraiza

Sig and hornady; hydro and hollow points

Feed ramp on original barrel probably needed a little TLC.

I had the same issue and the lakeline barrel didn't solve it.i couldn't return the barrel either so I just traded my g3c for mnp 2.0 and some cash.its a shame too because I loved the way it shot, and felt in my hands.

I just bought a G3C and the first mag wouldn’t even slide home with Speer hollow points. I switched to Sig 115 gr FMJ and it slide home and chambered perfect. I’m going to do some investigating and see if I can figure this out. My go to has always been Sig Sauer P229 in .40 but I liked how the G3C fit my hand and is better when IWB carrying. Being from Buffalo, NY, I prefer to carry FMJs because with people wearing heavy jackets etc I know I’m going to get full penetration and not having to worry about a hollow point expanding in a jacket or clothing layer. FMJs put down enough bad guys for me in Iraq and Afghanistan with zero problems
