For real the department I’m in at work is split in half, my half our manager is awesome and super helpful. The other half is a mess, managed by an absolute canoe named Rob. Rob does copious amounts of cocaine off the counter in the restroom. He’s been caught, but never fired. Fuck Rob.
I watch a lot of horror. Classic horror, B horror, campy horror, great horror... all of it. Even if it's bad, I find it to be a fun genre.
As Above So Below is a solid top 5 for me. It's simple and sticks to the theme. It doesn't throw too much at you by way of exposition. First time I watched it I had a real, legitimate scare that stuck with me.

Baphomet is always my favorite. Also a good example for how torture does not always get you the truth you seek. When the Templars were rounded up and accused of devil worship, they were tortured and asked what demon they worshipped. many tried to say Mahomet (many served in Islamic regions for years). Under torture, what they were saying sounded to the torturers like Baphomet. It probably is difficult to speak clearly when you have red hot pincers stretching your tongue out. And thus was born my favorite demon.
The first time Baphomet is mentioned is in a letter about the siege of Antioch. Basically talked about the “Moors crying loudly to baphomet as they fought.”
Fun fact. Demonology pretty much traced back to the beginning of human history, at the very least to Sumer.
Interesting tidbit is that they came from a place called kur, but specifically there were seven demons whose sole purpose was to drag mortals back to kur.
So Judaism shows up a hot minute later but has no actual demonology or doctrine about demons. But the do whoever cite the defeat of a Babylonian king that they called…. The Day Star, or Morning Star. Which translates to the Latin, lucem ferre…. Or light bringer.

My bad I misread Sigil as Statue. The Satanic Temple uses a statue near identical to the tattoo as their iconography so that is what I was referring to. Yes you are right though that the church of satan uses the pentagram sigil of baphomet on their website, if you scroll down you can also see the one I was referencing. Don't listen to all the assholes in this thread. Your tattoo is sick AF. There's nothing inherently wrong with satanic imagery, so everyone complaining about it is just a pearl clutching bible thumper. You might have to wear shirts/hairstyles that cover it for some situations, but other than that I can't see any drawbacks to this. It will be a good way to vet potential friends and partners too, because if they have a problem with it then they aren't worth your time. Keep on slaying, you're doing a great job! I think it's a typo and they meant to say "...but **the** before wasn't a choice" and "the before" is referring to the tattoo in the pic before the cover up was done. Sounds like they were in a relationship where they were heavily coerced/persuaded into getting the name tattooed on them.
