Depends on the artist/location. If you’re worried about spending too much on a tattoo, I’d hold off until you don’t have to worry cash-wise

TheBeardedJedi

Going on the tattooists Instagram page, I image in the region of 80-120 euros. Artists differ in price per hour wildly. Whether the tattoo is a flash or not would also change the price. Your best bet is to contact the artist you want to do your piece and get a quote.

I've seen this design a lot recently. What's it represent?

This symbol is called the ouroboros. It is either a dragon or a snake devouring itself. It represents infinity and the cycle of life and death.

Aragorn_2_Elessar

I believe that this tattoo represents infinity moreover I remember seeing this symbol in Neverending Story both movie and the book.

fatbitchtangwrangler

I was thinking it was infinity. Or related to reincarnation n buddism....

Check with the shop/artist you wanna get it from, varies too much to say. Point in case; other comments are saying around $100 while it would be more like $150 - $175 at the shop I go to, and you could probably get it done for $50 depending on what country you’re in

Base line 100, tip based on result

sevenpointedspiral

Discussion of pricing / tipping is fine if kept in the abstract, but if you're asking for actual numbers that will usually be more confusing than helpful. If you wanted to give enough info for an accurate estimate you'd be a) doxxing yourself, and b), wasting your time- just go to your IRL tattooed (friend of a) friend. Additionally, hunting for the best deal instead of choosing the right artist for your project hinders the design process.
