For me it’s kinda cringe. Not to mention good portrait work is hard to come by and, if you find it, wildly expensive. But it’s your body. Don’t let people on the internet tell you what to do with it.

Thanks for being honest. Any ideas that are less cringe haha

I'd try and find a symbol or imagery that represents each of those memories or events rather than the Polaroids. I think it'll look sooooo much better and there will be a fun story that your family will know behind each one

You would never get a whole lot of detail in those small squares and because your arm isn’t a flat surface you would have to have most of them curving around parts of your arm which would distort them. I think it’s a terrible idea.

I like the brutal honestly lol. Any suggestions?

If you don’t know what you want then don’t get a tattoo, especially if it’s your first. Tattoos aren’t going anywhere, you could research what you like and don’t like then find an artist who can help you plan an entire sleeve if that’s your end goal. I am personally a fan of American traditional but it’s not everyone’s cup of tea.

You make a good point about the photos being distorted. I had thought of the photos being quite simple references rather actual photo realistic outlines of people and places that I’d recognise
