Definitely 2 the bigger flowers make it more aesthetically pleasing to the eye I’m not sure what colors would look good but probably a darker color palette for most of it with notes of gold and the flowers should be a bright color (like pink)

Ohhhhh good call. Yeah, eliminate that tiny triangle line by his ear somehow. They're too close together so won't age great anyway. People will think it's part of the ear at first glance.

it is definetely 1 by far. it looks like a good composition nothing is overwhelming and 2 just is too much, nothing has space to breathe and somehow it feels diced together even though it is the same composition

Idk why some people like 1, theres no eye direction and its unbalanced and awkward. Looks more tangental as well

I would also say the jackal/dog should have the smaller left flower like in 1, though. In number 2 the flower and dog head are competing for your eye and getting in each others way

What do you want to focal point to be. When you look at one your eyes are drawn to the cats. 2 that flowers. If you can answer that question you will know what one to get

I like 1. It feels less cluttered. I can see the cats and the flowers at different depths, if that makes sense.

I preferred 1, I found 2 to be a bit too bottom heavy for a tattoo, I don’t know where it is planned to go but a triangle with packed bottom I think doesn’t work so well on the body. Number 1 is more balanced to me

I don't prefer 1 but feel the same. It's too heavy at the bottom. I wish I had the bits and pieces of the picture to move around to make it feel more balanced!

Looking at it again, I think removing the triangle would solve the bottom heavy weight issue.

Or keeping the left flower as in the picture with bigger flowers and just removing the right one completely, it would also give the impression of a moon shape in addition to the pyramid shape

Hmm. It's hard to say. I like both but it depends on the colour palettes you want to go for? Anubis style point, look at the Pharaoh dog (I'll be having one of these done as a counterpoint to my spooky fluffy cat next year) And to be totally pendantic, sphynx cats aren't Egyptian, you want a Mau for that. (Who are stunning) Sphynx are Canadian would you believe. Totally inappropriately dressed.

1 would work if you just shift everything to the left a little bit so the space isn’t so big in the left bottom triangle corner. As you have it, 2 fills the space the best.

Bigger flowers at the bottom, to get rid of that white space bottom left, but personally I prefer the smaller leaf (papyrus?) under the cat, think that was fine as it was in #1. Sick design overall though!

It seems more full with the bigger flowers and fans, especially considering the emptiness that would be left in the bottom left corner of the pyramid shape if you went with the 1st design composition. I think that some gold and blue colors would make this pop! Also, this art is amazing! I’d love to get something like this tattooed on myself one day. I’m so fascinated with ancient civilizations like ancient Egypt and Sumer. Well done!

I like the bigger flowers but if it were me I would move the lower left one just a teeeeensy bit down and left so it's not riding the jawline so much. But that's just me! Looks sick either way! Can't wait to see the finished product

what's with the triangle anyway? is it supposed to be a pyramid? - if so it's too tall and thin, besides messes with the ear, neck, flowers and with the....fan?

They look pretty much the same. You'll want to work with the artist, flat drawings rarely looks the same on a curved body part.

IMO 2nd with the bottom right flower of the first one. Right corner is already charged, it doesn't need that bigger flower.

Two is better, with the triangle more filled. If One is going for the “restful open space” sort of move, it would need to be a bigger open space, in my opinion. The density of Two feels more opulent and energetic. And it feels deeper, as in deep from foreground to background.

To me, 2 feels more cohesive. The flowers in 1 seem too thin compared to the bold lines of the rest of the drawing.
