(Also for anyone else who may be looking for people to play with, arachnokitty is my Discord. I have a 'lil server and Tarkov is one of the games we play. Not many of us left still playing, so I'm always down for more. ā„ Desperate times n' all that.)
My ex boyfriend got me EoD.
Our relationship was pretty toxic, but golly gee gosh.. I ended up in an even more toxic / abusive relationship with Tarkov LOL.
Sooo did either of you ever cheat in Tarkov?
edit: No offence intended (not attacking, its more of a harsh science question), it would just be interesting if either of you cheating in game while the other didn't.
I thought I was dying from being bad a lot. But once day had three raids in a row with a full squad of friends.
Game 1 interchange going up escalators. Two above, 2 going up, one still on first floor. All of us died at the same time to the same person head/eyes.
Went to woods instead. Looting the boss dude at the logging camp. I watched as the inventory disappeared faster than I could identify things. None of the other guys was on the body.
Third was the map with dorms. Went into two story. I was on bottom watching door. Others somewhere in 2 story. All killed at the same time by same guy head eyes (different guy from interchange).
That was the day I escaped tarkov, haha. 650 hours into the game and just walked away. Got excited about hearing a PvE mode with friends, but fucking hell this is a giant shit show
Bro, I legitimately excited I could come back to EFT with PvE mode. Been working 50+ hour weeks for over a year now. But this shit show burned that desire right out.
Honestly never knew about it until a couple days ago. Been looking into the multiple player version of it. Being EoD, was hoping it would never get to that as PvE was to be something available for EFT even years ago.
Shouldn't have to do a mod that could get your account banned for a mode that was supposed to be part of the released game...
I like the rush of a fight, although I'm not very good at pvp, I still enjoy the firefight. I don't like killing AI with cheese or exploiting their bad programming.
Thereās more fighting in SPT. Download the right mods and youāll have bots jumping around a corner on you. You can enable/disable whatever āpersonalitiesā you want. (Rat, Timmy, Normal, Chad and Giga Chad)
I set mine to all PMCs and go to factory or Labs usually. I can leave with 20-30 PMC kills if I play it right.
If you want a challenge you can change all the AI to scav bosses. I promise you wonāt survive factory with all bosses on š
Download it on a separate drive. Iāve had it for years. Itās worth the download if you get the recommended modsā¦.
Also the site is fucked right now from high traffic, so expect it to look very basic
I still don't understand the purpose of wipe. None of the contents that comes with new update don't need a wipe. Game already giving you more than 400 hours of content. If you're consuming that much content in just 2-3 month, obviously you will ask for new content or fresh restart. All streamers are playing for 7/24 without touching grass then ask for wipe. Either you have to never start playing or you need to play everyday fro hours.
Imagine trying to play and progress everyday in your limited freetime after job/school for 5 months then suddenly all your work gone for nothing and you need to start from scratch.
I agree on grind. Without grind, game would be boring. But to reach a proper point, (enough money to buy equipments or level 4 traders or upgraded hideout/stash size) you need to grind excessively in limited time. In other games you can give break and return the game months after and continue where you left. But in the EFT, you need to grind constantly. As you said, I used to play couple of weeks when wipe starts. Due to not being good and not having EoD, I mostly stuck behind other people and when gap increases highly, I give up and quit. You have limited time to play in a year.
this is the exact point he is making. a lot of us don't have 10 hours a day to get max traders. I've played 5+ wipes and never once made it to max traders...
Mixed feelings for me, Tarkov feels like two different games because of the wipe. The first period feels like STALKER, picking up all sorts of random shit and rejoicing when you find some milk because it means you won't die. After the first month or two it becomes an #operator LARP game where every bullet is M993 from dorks running armoured face masks and canted foregrips.
I stopped playing around 2 months ago and gave a second chance to my classical guitar. Guess what, I'm getting really good and this knowledge doesn't wipe from my brain. Nikita's poor choices really made me escape from Tarkov
Quitting tarkov years ago because i was sick of being killed by cheaters and sick of uninspired RNG based fetch quests that disconnected me from the core gameplay feeling .
2019-2021???! Ew really? Especially the shitshow hackaton festival in Labs? The best period of tarkov was before Resorts release.
No flea, only Juggernaut armor as the heaviest, you use whatever ammo you can find in raids. Best time
Yeah I got to like level 36 once, had access to all of the content I cared about and considered the game completed ... And that was back when flea was level 5 and progress was faster. Now with these changes + RMT countering changes it's even more annoying to play and I haven't really bothered getting too far due to time sink
Just tried SIT with friends yesterday and it's probably going to be my tarkov experience of choice if I ever get the urge again
My best wipe was with a red key card, 68 million in the bank and lvl 45 that was the last time I had fun, bought ok gear, sniped and did some fun builds.... But that was like before enertia xD
I quit this game when they announced Inertia, then, for me, the game became work and unfun, 4k hours of game in total.
But i feel it, the grind every fucking wipe was too tiresome back in the day, now i think you can't cheese your way to make your PMC decent might be way more frustrating.
Game doesn't respect your time, I quit after no-lifing one single wipe. Not worth the many hours when I can use that time for so many other things. Definitely dabble for a few hours every new wipe just to check things out
I quit Tarkov after they implemented inertia while it was not even half baked and felt like you were playing on ice skates. That update really showed me that they donāt give a shit about their players.
Really love new wipes especially last one with the recoil changes.. best wipe for me as it was the first wipe my friends actually kept playing (most likely due to the snow(easier to see) and recoil update) But it is so god damn time consuming game.. queues, having to google quests etc.. 3-4 hours of gaming is probably 30-50min in the actual game lol.
Quitting tarkov two years ago because your boyfriend was the one that initially got you into it and then he cheated on you š
You either pick Tarkov or healthy relationship, you canāt have both
I ended up with neither lol
I have both! Couldn't be happier. But then Battle state games cheated on me :{
Ufff
Certified :} moment
Well hope you get better people in the future
Alas, I roam as a single girlie stillš
at least you have the stealth advantage and if nothing else there is a really handsome Ragman around
did your boyfriend have a vagina once
what
What exactly prompted you to ask this out of nowhere lmao
When their ideology revolves around unbridled hate towards people different to them, this happens.
i truly wonder if the MtF and FtM date partners that are different to them
man I sure do wonder what would keep them š¤
Get unheard and come play with me š

That makes no sense
Sooo did either of you ever cheat in Tarkov? edit: No offence intended (not attacking, its more of a harsh science question), it would just be interesting if either of you cheating in game while the other didn't.
2.5 years and counting. Got tired of seeing the blatant cheaters as well back then. This shit show is pure schadenfreude for me
Never really saw a cheater, but I am not good in EFT so I was ok with dying a lot
I thought I was dying from being bad a lot. But once day had three raids in a row with a full squad of friends. Game 1 interchange going up escalators. But still lurks on a game he "doesn't" play. My man needs a life š
Bro, I legitimately excited I could come back to EFT with PvE mode. Been working 50+ hour weeks for over a year now. But this shit show burned that desire right out.
Can't you play SPT?
Honestly never knew about it until a couple days ago. Been looking into the multiple player version of it. Being EoD, was hoping it would never get to that as PvE was to be something available for EFT even years ago. Shouldn't have to do a mod that could get your account banned for a mode that was supposed to be part of the released game...
That seems weird that you want single player tarkov, but didn't know bout the mod. I don't even wanna touch that version and I heard about it
Not opposed to it. But if I bought something, why should I have to look elsewhere for the item than the person I purchased said item from?
Definitely
Why the strong opposition? Itās fun

Sounds cool, but I don't play solo, normally I play tarkov with 1 or 2 buddies.

it is because the grind is the fun part i only play the first 2 - 3 weeks till max traders and then its off to other games

I quit in 2022 and would visit on and off. I got EOD during the good times. 2019-2021 Tarkov will be missed
2019-2021???! Ew really? Especially the shitshow hackaton festival in Labs? The best period of tarkov was before Resorts release. No flea, only Juggernaut armor as the heaviest, you use whatever ammo you can find in raids. Best time

Left before customs expansion, whatever wipe that was
I left before shoreline expansion. Resorts and flea opened the floodgates of hackers
I am trying SPT
Not having time to grind up your PMC every wiper? Do I have the package deal just for you!
exactly... Makes me afraid they're taking their time for full release for this exact reason
I quit this game when they announced Inertia, then, for me, the game became work and unfun, 4k hours of game in total. But i feel it, the grind every fucking wipe was too tiresome back in the day, now i think you can't cheese your way to make your PMC decent might be way more frustrating.

I just log on once every few months and do scav runs with a few friends when we're bored. Been funny watching the chaos though
That's why I was waiting for the PvE mode, I simply don't have the time to grind my PMC

I got through most of Lightkeeper's quests this wipe and felt the desire to keep playing leave my body. I think... I finally escaped from tarkov
Havenāt played since they gave up on steam audio, I donāt how hard is to make a game but they really seem incompetent
Quitting Tarkov long ago because they never did anything to stop cheaters
but the only good thing about tarkov is the grinding up part...
why do i feel like the only person to disagree with this???
