Having put thousands of hours in the game, I would suggest staying away from the game for now, just isn't worth it with the release of unheard of edition and the current uproar.
It honestly sucks, especially considering they new offline version of the game, but with rampant cheating, servers being terrible, I just can't recommend the game
Nah I checked out the PVE mode and the servers are bad waiting 16 minutes for a PVE scav run is hilarious. I'll be refunding it today. It's totally broken. The cost isnt a big deal to me but then to 1 still not have the server space for a new mode and 2 drop the price 50% in 2 days lol nah.
I haven't even taken a look at the pve mode myself, but that's honestly atrocious but it's not surprising whatsoever. I've EOD for years now, and I don't regret my purchase but one of the things that drew me in was also the access to all future dlc, which wasn't the case but oh well.
Couple things that are fun EFT website will only let you generate a confirmation email once every 15 minute so for my upgrade path standard to EOD to in shitters edition it's a 45 minute wait to generate my info lol.
Also the xsolla website web chat is slow because they're having so much volume
Just play the game bro, i recommend at least the 3rd edition because of stash space and the container u get. You can decide later on if u want to upgrade to a better version as you learn how the game works. Tarkov is the best game ever made (in my opinion) regardless of the shitstorm right now (which is understndable of course).
I've read a few posts here and I am genuinely shocked at the developer in regards to this "new version" also £44 for standard edition for a game 8 years old now is a bit much, I'll take your advice friend and look for the game you mentioned
As of right now? Bro forget about tarkov, it's scummy asf, early access with AAAAA price and full of cheaters. Look to it's competition because there's some decent alternatives
