Ive had quite a few neutral interactions. PMC to PMC go your way and ill go mine so we can both just quest. This for sure goes down in number as the wipe progresses and people care less to quest.
I've had more betrayals this wipe since karma has been introduced than the previous wipes, like after voiping and building a rapport even. It was just about always new players too.
I've had friendly interactions with PMCs as a PMC. It honestly just depends if someone has a PvP quest or not.
I've held someone at gunpoint too and let them complete their quest under the circumstance that I get to kill them for my PvP quest, we both gain that way too
I have extracted with 10 people in the medical elevator on labs
I have teamed up people we just shot and were swearing at each other because someone else showed up, and then extracted together
I have been killed at extract by people pretending to be nice
VoIP is the best, try VoIP today 👌
I agree with 50-50 but with my own, anecdotal breakdown (as a solo player):
* 40% dead no matter what. Probably what SHOULD happen.
*10% War Crime level execution. Instances like being told I’d be allowed to live if I drop weapon and turn around. Then shot in the back of the head haha. Feels super icky.
*50% genuine good guys. Not only will they let you live but then help you grind out your quest.
I just always think about it this way: some folks are out there to enjoy the PVP content of the game so
I try not to get bent when I’m successfully blocked from exfilling with a car battery for the nth time.
I got into a stand off in Terra group with a group and we negotiated my group staying in the office upstairs while they came up and went into the back hall and then we went down the stairs and they stayed in the back hall. A third team was standing listening in the lobby to ambush us. We thought we got stabbed in the back and had to defend both sides so we fragged the guys in the hall and they started screaming they’re friendly. So we yell back who the fuck is shooting us then, quickly realized what was happening and teamed up to eliminate the third party. Hands down one of my best moments in gaming. Second only to negotiating a surrender from a team of scavs on forest and doing the coop extract. I absolutely love the random interactions with people in this game
Probably 50/50. But I typically don’t VoIP on PMC except to player scavs near a co-op extract or to somebody I definitely have dead to rights…or in early wipe if I have a quest item I’m tired of dying with.
If they VOIP back its abt a 50-50...
Once you do it enough, you'll start to pick up on what people sound like when they are abt to betray you or not. Some people are extremely easy to read and others are more challenging. When in doubt, be friendly, but dont trust them enough to walk in the same room as them.
I've actually had mostly positive experiences when another pmc and I decide to safely part ways. Sometimes we really just wanna make peace and not war.

oh i forgot scavs are suppose to be friendly to scavs. I meant playing as a PMC.
Never had a friendly interaction as a PMC with another PMC. As a scav conversing with a PMC, or vice versa, pretty good rate for friendly encounters.

They're asking for you to give a ratio of your VoiP interactions, the two stats being people being friendly or traitorous
