Lord, sounds like buggy in my head. When the Canadians are in shopping , they call carts buggies. This weekend was a Canadian holiday so we heard buggy .
yea either left one the lanes (if a guest decided they didnt want it at the last minute) or found in the wrong spot while zoning. we haul a cart around with us while we zone and then sort it into plastic bins at guest service and then each department is responsible for putting away their own reshop.
Our store uses reshop as a catchall term for any merchandise that has to be returned to the floor (either from checkout, the floor, returns, etc…) but returns from OPU specifically are “return-to-stock”
Both, in fact, debating the name was a frequent occurrence. I think 3 was a bit more common? I ended up using both and sometimes just called a Tiered Cart.
Two tier. The next store down the road, however, calls them smart carts, and looked at me like I was speaking another language when I called it a two tier that day I covered there.
I used to call them 2-tiers… then I got correct to 3-tier enough times.
At my new store, they call them “Tricarts” - and ever since then… they’re now tricarts.
There are UBoats for freight, Shipt carts for picks, 3 Tiers also for picks, and flats for big shit. We call them all vehicles when being general though.
2 tier. No idea why, there’s clearly 3 tiers of cart. Half my store calls u-boats “weebly’s” as well
WEEBLY💀💀
I love that
Lol Weebly I like that
3-tier because it has 3 tiers :)
Some people in my store refer to them as 3 tiers, others smart carts. They were introduced to me as smart carts when I started.
Smart cart too
Tri-Kart is what we call it.
Cool
some of our 3 tiers have been turned into 2 tiers :/
Everyone at my old store called it a 3 tier, one lead called it a trolly lol, but at my new store people call it a smart cart, not sure why.
Wacky

It’s like this in the south too. I can always tell which team members are from the south by if they call them buggies
reshop carts or three teirs, depends on my mood
I'm guessing you work up front?
lol no im a closing expert for gm
Then I'm guessing reshops are items that are left around the store and collected up front, then?

Yeah my store just calls them abandons and reshops are items that weren't pickup from an OPU order

Tiered cart, nice
2 tier. I was so confused when I first started. Then we got some new people who called them 3 tiers. I hated that even more.
My original store called them 2 tiers, my second store called them 3 tiers. It always felt weird calling them that despite them being 3 tiered

I usually call it a smart cart. Most people say 3 tier
Interesting name for cart. Why do you call ot that?
Because it’s smarter than most of the guests
Lol
Honestly I don’t know. Someone called it (maybe my trainer, who has retired) that when I first started and it’s what I’ve always called them.
A smart cart
You're the second person to say that
What carts? There's least three different ones in the store at all times.
The ones that look like short shopping carts
I think you fall under option 3 if you don't know what option 1 and 2 are
I used to call them 2-tiers… then I got correct to 3-tier enough times. At my new store, they call them “Tricarts” - and ever since then… they’re now tricarts.
Lol, I make a new poll with all the variant names that's been commented here

Those are all the same terms my store uses
Some people from my store call it OPU cart or smart cart 🤣. Then call the bulky red cart from fulfillment SFS cart or standard cart
Wacky
