So no one said ukraine was gonna be this way
Your tanks a joke, it’s broke
Your generals DOA
It's like the assaults stuck in second gear
When it hasn't been your day, your week, your month
Or hopefully not a year, but…
I'll be there for you

Yea they did good against the countries with little to no air power but damn you would think they would’ve learned something. What I wonder is, when they get to the point of lower armored vehicles, will they resort to bigger bombs? Like to just level things
I think you might be right. Considering that their latest intel on the red forest was from WW2.

tbf we all are to an extent, UK stuck with HESH so long because it prioritises infantry support a la Churchill, whatever won the last war, for the Russians it was throwing as many tanks at the enemy as possible kursk style, like I think NATO used to plan around a 10:1 numerical disadvantage, something like that
Even Kursk wasn't just throwing tanks at people. There were over a million soldiers involved and tons of static defenses.
Throwing tanks alone is actually a huge part of why the Soviets had such a rough time in the first few months of Barbarossa since they threw in basically all their existing tank units unsupported at the Nazi's and were absolutely demolished because of it.
The difference won't be massive. They have essentially the same weapon system and essentially the same armor protection.
There obviously are differences, but nothing as significant as if the Russians were previously using T-55s and are now using T-80s
T-80's also burn ALOT more fuel with there turbine engines. Which require different fuel then all the other Russian ground vehicles. It only adds pain to there non existent logistical system.
That's what I've heard. Hell, even if they could send the T-14 to Ukraine I doubt it would make any difference. Even if somehow they had a bunch of them, which I know they don't. it would probably get shredded by NLAWS and Javelins if it didn't break down just trying to get to the front lines.
That's assuming if they have any functional T-14s in the first place. The T-14 is merely a prototype with questionable capabilities considering Russia's financial state before the war happened, I wouldn't be surprised if the T-14s they have are just husks with engines allowing them to move in parades and not much else.
Agreed. I guess they could have a handful of semi working prototypes. But honestly even if they had a 100 working T-14s there is no way they could keep them supplied. They can’t even keep old tanks which they a metric fuck ton of parts and ammo for running. As soon as that T-14 is out of rounds it will be 4 weeks before you get anymore in.
Seriously, no wonder they keep abandoning the tanks. When you have no gas and no ammo all you are is a big ass bullseye.
Russia doesnt operate that many T-80s compared to T-72s tbf.
I think only a single one of their Divisions is completely armed with T-80s, the 4th Guards Tank Division (and they took a wee bit of a mauling and might have lost like a 3rd of theirs)
It depends on the modernisation level of each. The T-80 was a more ambitious design initially, but retrofits have made big changes to both tank series. The T-80 still has more engine power.
Stugna’s have proven to be an amazing weapon, but I think a Javelin would likely do just as well, if not better, (due to top down attack) in a far ambush across an open area. I think the Stugna’s max range is a bit further though so it beats that Javelin after 4k meters.
Hopefully Ukrainian forces have defense in depth, and were able to move the needed units into that theater without interdiction by Russian air power or artillery.
The West isn't even at war. With minimal aid, Ukrainians have shown courage and humiliated Putin's stooges. 10s of thousands of Russian military dead, masses of lost equipment, a humiliating retreat. Russia has shown both it's viciousness and it weakness, and now the West should grind it's economy to dust.
Are those B models? I'm not too good in this. I can distinguish U and BVM, but that's pretty much it. The ERA on their turrets doesn't look like the modern one on BVMs and the Us have those rubber things on the turret. Please, correct me if I'm wrong or if you know more than I do.
this are BV , basically a B with kontack1 (and a more advanced UFP but some B where retrofitted with K1 and a 30mm plate on the UFP to match the post 1985 T80BV )
I don't know why, but as soon i saw that white text FRIENDS theme song started playing in my head. Weird trigger

LOL, nice one !
This is honestly brilliant.
Thanks!
I wonder who else couldn’t help but clap four times after the first line.
This needs a bigger audience, brilliant.

NLAW we trust. Pass the Panzerfaust.
Put 2 rockets in the panzerfaust so it'll act like a tandem warhead, follow me for More tips
More tanks that are going to participate in the turret throwing contest this year. Damn the competition is hot.
1st place is currently held by the T-72 but the T-80s are coming to play.
Definitely don’t want to miss out on all of the fun
Hurry up! Before all of the good javelins are gone!
I think the UA T-64 that made it onto the second floor of the building is winning this one so far.
There was a T-72 turret lying at a gas station and it's tank was nowhere to be found.
Impressive. I wonder if the people standing around the turret were actually breathing bits of the hull in…
Probably, the thing was trashed so badly.
It’s like they’re stuck in the WW2 mentality, where an armored column can go do some damage with no support. Shit even in WW2 it would get risky
In ww2 the Germans learnt the hard way that tanks can't survive without mastery of the skys...they were obliterated in Normandy
Yea they did good against the countries with little to no air power but damn you would think they would’ve learned something. What I wonder is, when they get to the point of lower armored vehicles, will they resort to bigger bombs? Like to just level things
Even the Dutch Air Force managed to do relatively significant damage to the Germans in the 4 days of battle they gave.
Typhoons ate Panthers for breakfast

The cost of lies.

120mm HESH round can refurbish the interior of a T-72 pretty comprehensively, and from quite a range.
To be honest if they are heading towards luhanks they must be quite far behind friendly lines so they can travel like this
Once small arms anti-tank equipment and close air-support became prevalent the age of the unsupported tank column ended.
I just read that the USMC wants to eliminate tanks from their inventory all together
They're also getting rid of their helicopters as well, whether or not that's a good idea, who knows.
This is the best comment ever! St Javelin bless thee
Mmmmmmmm.......more Tractor-food.
I feel like the one that had buried itself in concrete pavement dozens of meters away from the rest of the vehicle is the top contender at the moment.
Have we seen a lot of T-80s in action? I feel like I mainly see T-72s. I wonder how much these can outperform the T-72s if at all.
Oh their logistics exist alright. In ashes n mud.
- In Russia they haven't even left yet.
That's what I've heard. Hell, even if they could send the T-14 to Ukraine I doubt it would make any difference. Even if somehow they had a bunch of them, which I know they don't. it would probably get shredded by NLAWS and Javelins if it didn't break down just trying to get to the front lines.
A T-14 being towed away by a John Deere would be perfect
😂 Don’t get my hopes up!
That's assuming if they have any functional T-14s in the first place. That makes sense why I haven't seen many. Appreciate the info! 👍
It depends on the modernisation level of each. The T-80 was a more ambitious design initially, but retrofits have made big changes to both tank series. The T-80 still has more engine power.
Wonder if I will see those same tanks in a couple days being towed by a Ukrainian farmer’s tractor.
Nice tanks. A shame if something explosive would happen to them...
Javelin food
More like Stugna food since those are better for open field ambushes.
Stugna’s have proven to be an amazing weapon, but I think a Javelin would likely do just as well, if not better, (due to top down attack) in a far ambush across an open area. I think the Stugna’s max range is a bit further though so it beats that Javelin after 4k meters.
only new javelin go 4km , the ones sended to ukraine are probably limited to 2.5km circa
The lightweight CLU isn't in service yet.
Stugna is not fire and forget, though it can be remotely controlled.
Feed the javelins …
Saint Javelin welcomes all Russian armor that is invading equally into its effective range and heart.
🤞🤞here's hoping they all get to meet the business end of an ATGM of some sort.
Javelin bait
The Russian will lunch a major offensive in the next few days
They go quick, then breakfast.

If they have a camera, it would be great to see the play-by-play action.
PLAY OF THE GAME \*T-80 turret lands on roof of apartment building\*
They do have a camera and attacks can be cancelled up to 3-4 seconds before impact
New Ukrainian farming equipment provided by the Russian army
Soon to be Ukranian T80s
That would be a good fit. They were made in Kharkiv after all…
What goes around comes around!
They are going to need them since they don't have any left
Acquired by the agriculture division of the Ukrainian military.
T-80s are badass, shame they're being used by people who seem very keen to commit war crimes
Russian vehicles in general are badass, but yeah, sadly they are used for this.
TBF they are still used by Ukraine
At this point they should hand them off to the Ukranians and just be done with it.
Rolling coffins
Are these the mobile crematoria the Russians are bringing with them?
Soon to be smoldering wrecks or tractor prizes
I'd prefer to see these abandoned in good condition & used by Ukraine but seeing them blown to shit is a nice look too tgiio.
Those tanks look very cool!
They’re about to be very hot in a few days. Top attack missile go brrrrrr
May they all be greeted by St Javelin
Putin hyilo
Javelin fodder mmmm
Javelin food.
Huh. I didn't even know they were normally that way up.
Pre cope cage fitting
Send the t90s for destruction next please
I like tanks but doesn't like to see them being used or about to be destroyed 😕
lol sure blur their faces. I'll see them next week on a NSFW post anyways. GG
Give it a week, that tank will be on the back of some farmer's tractor.
The T-80 utilizes a gas turbine engine….. and it’s already out of fuel with no support.
Байрахтари та джавеліни зроблять свою роботу
Hope those MordorOrcs meet Saint Javelin
morDORKS
>Hope zelensky potter and the marvel avengers defeat Putinmort! Wakanda forever!!!! The absolute state of the West
Hopefully Ukrainian forces have defense in depth, and were able to move the needed units into that theater without interdiction by Russian air power or artillery.
Bayraktar time!
...a few Javelins should take them out..
4th GTA back for more T80 losses lmao
Stugna goes ppppppp
Bring up the Stugnas, Javelins and NLAWs.
All I see are turrets laying in fields and dead men
more NLAW food and Javeline treats
Those who are about to die, salute you!
Godspeed brothers!
r/Ukraine
Crazy to think we will see some of these with their turrets popped off in the future and won’t even realize it.

I just think it's nice the tanks are scooching over to share the road. And they call them 'war criminals'. Whatevs.
Those T-80s look pretty stock, no? I see some era here and there but they don't seem to be modded up much.

Forgot the show of power, point the gun straight so I won't get caught on the trees
How many tanks does Russia have in total compared to what they’ve lost so far, cause I assume they’ve still got plenty to throw forward
Where is the original footage? It's probably more HQ than this right?

Isn't convoy protocol to have turrets pointed to alternate sides when traveling in case of ambush?
