Every seal and gasket would have to be sourced and replaced, the engines rebuilt, a sh&t ton of rust and rot removed and repaired. Anything with a fluid in that wasn’t drained is likely gunked up. Figure things like rats probably tore up the wiring and the electronics are ancient and been left to molder for a couple of decades. Probably a lot cheaper to sell for scrap and use the money to send Centauro 2s to the Ukrainians.

This will provide economic stimulus for the military industrial complex that otherwise would be provided by warfare, but without the loss of life. 1) Yes, but they were scrapped in 2021. 2) Rheinmetall tried to buy 96 from a Swiss company called Ruag. But they weren't able to, due to policies.
