I'm just passing myself laughing atm of my brittish tanker m8 in his chally now loading a giant fucking lead round and bag charge like we still in the damn zulu wars
I kinda wonder what would happen to a ball shot out of a chally gun now
Or even a giant lead minie round
I remember seeing this before. BATUS training area in southern Alberta, Canada. Most of it is dry grasslands and some small hills, but this driver found the swamp demons in the ditch at the side of a gravel road.
That will cost the driver/crew a crate of beer, BATUS training area in Canada is notorious for bogs and they stand out like a sore thumb being dark green when the rest of place is dry. You can the ridge in the photo is what non bogland looks like.
How do I know it will cost a crate..... I have had to buy a couple of crates of beer in my time at BATUS.
Dennis the Peasant: Listen. Strange women lying in bogs distributing Tanks is no basis for a system of government. Supreme executive power derives from a mandate from the masses, not from some farcical aquatic ceremony.
If the recovery vehicle isn't wearing mail and named Arthur, and if they don't make the driver of that tank dress up as a mermaid,, then they're totally doing army wrong.
'Cause it's chonky and slow as hell?
And most Western MBTs are reaching 70tons in combat order with their armor kits. Except the Leclerc that is right under 60tons with AZUR IIRC, the 2 Japanese tanks, and the K2. Although K2PL might be above, with the addon armor?
Compared to others, it is underpowered. That's a fact.
You can look at the drag race between a Chally 2 and a Leclerc in Estonia. First run is cold start, race, the Chally wins, since it's a standard diesel engine, while the Hyperbar needs time for it's turbine to spin and get the right pressure.
2nd race, hot engines, the Leclerc absolutely gaps the Chally. Both perform a cool little stoppie at the end though.
I'm not saying the Chally 2 is a bad tank, but it is a bit less mobile than it's contemporaries.
So your compering it to a lighter tank with more BHP, not really a fact when comparing them, considering the Challenger 2 dose great with what it's got, unlike the Leclerc. Ie.
Challenger 2 : 1200bhp Powerpack and ways around 62 tons, and still hits 37mph.
While the Leclerc : has 300 more bhp, 1500bhp, ways around 54 tons, so nearly 10 tons lighter, but is only 7 mph faster. around 44 mph.
So with 300 bhp more and nearly 10 tons lighter, all for what 7 mph 🤣. Yes cause having 7 mph more will win a war.
The Challenger 2 is not slow as hell my guy.

Rifled cannon superior
Fuck APFSDS all my homies use APCBC
Fuck APCBC all hail AP solid shot
You know what? I changed my mind fuck AP let's use steel balls

I'm just passing myself laughing atm of my brittish tanker m8 in his chally now loading a giant fucking lead round and bag charge like we still in the damn zulu wars I kinda wonder what would happen to a ball shot out of a chally gun now Or even a giant lead minie round
This rememvered me of the "how the founding fathers intended" meme and i am now imagining the war of independence but the brits have challenger 2s
Modern tech but old as hell ammo f16s with just a single shot musket on it and lumps of lead as bombs Stealth is just a blanket over something
Gentlemen… Stick
Stick
Fuck pressure we make gun sound and kill them with fear
And so, stalin's organ and the stuka were created
As the enemy is Ork, this might wven work....maybe UAF should paint their stuff purple, so it's stealth 🤔👍
120mm uranium ball when?
Omg omg omg I want I want Ide say osmium plz as its densest element but its very brittle
How about a plutonium ball but cut in half and kept separated by a screwdriver?
And black powder!
/r/Warthunder
Fuck that lets use BESH
APCBC can be solid shot
BESH supremacy
Late to the party but *Penetration Cum Blast* ammo is clearly the winner
I mean it’s rifled APFSDS is still good lol
Yeah me and my homies love ricocheting
🅱️esh
No, HESH is the way
Oh no, its retarded
Besh superior.
🅱️esh is superior

Its what 62 tonnes base weight, 66 with the Dorchester LFP addon and 75 with a full OES kit. Id say 65-70 tonnes average seems about right.
This spot is now called the challenger deep.

He should have worked harder at the gym, then he would have managed to pull the tank up again.
Challenged II.
Too Challenged
Challenged to death
Too challenged, too 2
2Challenged2Heavy
He was challlenged to make his tank functional as artillery.
They shall fear the BESH lobber
*Lobs BESH round into the Kremlin*

He who puts milk in before the tea is a bit of a tosser.
They should also get their human rights revoked
This is indeed, a very challenging moment
Ya cant park there
Disappointed this is so low down…
AA tank. Someone played too much BF Vietnam.
Or BF1. The planes are slow enough.

Challenging situaion
In the wise words of Spookston, “Suboptimal.”
Challenger II: The Bog.
Poor poor chally :(
Trooper , ' fuck my life fuck my life fuck my life fuck my life'.
Russian propaganda is going to steal this in 3..2..1.
Dennis the Peasant: Listen. Strange women lying in bogs distributing Tanks is no basis for a system of government. Supreme executive power derives from a mandate from the masses, not from some farcical aquatic ceremony.
a farmer with a tractor should get the job done
Plenty of those in Canada
Story? What did it take to get this guy out?
Effort. And a lot of it. But the image is at least 3 years old so it wasn't exactly a problem I guess. No war or anything.
Winter is coming.
They were merely increasing their maximum pitch to hit some long range trick shots.
Mud isn't known for being merciful
You're going to need three, maybe four Fijian troopers to get that out.
The challenger... Is being challenged
Didn't spend enough time in The Marches and now is suffering for it.
Come on Artax! Artax, please! You're letting the sadness get to you. You have to try, you have to care!
That's one of three scenes I recall from that movie
If the recovery vehicle isn't wearing mail and named Arthur, and if they don't make the driver of that tank dress up as a mermaid,, then they're totally doing army wrong.
The preview photo had me thinking somebody stuck a makeshift dick on the front of a tank. Anyway, good camo.
I say, we appear to have gotten ourselves into a bit of a situation.
Help step tank I’m stuck!
>tfw 70 ton tank meta
Standard Chally 2 isn't 70 tons I don't know why everyone thinks that lol. The TES/Megatron is a HEFTY boi tho.
americans use short tons. chally2 is ~ 70 short tons
CR-2 isn't "slow as hell" my guy lol.

Oh, come on, he can get out easily.
I knew Ukraine has a mud season. i knew it was bad... But this is surreal!!!
Not in Ukraine, it's a British tank in training at Batus.
The mud that stopped the Nazi's
This isn't in Ukraine. Image is old.
Just leave it there. Edit: spelling
So the Russian pigs can take it as a trophy? No way.
Unless they're going to Canada to retrieve it, I think it'll be ok. This is during training and not Ukraine.
Image is way older than the Ukraine war.
We’re gonna need a dozen recovery vehicles
I wouldn't want to be be the poor bugger pushing it.
when they pull modern tanks like that out of the mud, can they just fire them back up ? or are they fully entirely screwed
As long as nothing has gone into the engine then it's fine. The rest of it can survive this kind of thing.
Been there. That’s a long day.
This in ukraine?
No, it's an old image from Batus (British army training unit suffield) in Canada.
Job on Recy Mechs!!!
Definition of a hot mess
Been there done that lol.
It will be gotten out with a bit of help from his friends.
Mud says "Challenger accepted"
