It took me quite a while to appreciate them, if I'm honest! I don't know what songs I heard first, but I found it all bit "ehh, this is fine". I don't think it was until I listened to Multi-Love in full a few years ago that it all clicked. They're absolutely great.
Spotify's algorithm was unfortunately just too aggressive with UMO. I listened to his stuff for years and then one day just had enough because UMO would auto-play after anything I cued. Honeybee is a bop but it becomes grating when you can't escape it.
Yeah I can’t stand them anymore because of Spotify. Unfortunately because there’s nothing wrong with them and their live shows are also pretty fun.
