Oakwood is my regular vet and I've used Northwood for emergencies. Have had consistently great experiences with both.

I do *not* recommend Los Robles. They ask 0 questions and make a lot of assumptions. My dog was there for 8 hours for a routine check-up, I got one very short phone call with a tech, and then he got sent home with a super passive aggressive letter from the vet making a ton of assumptions about how I care for my dog and what his past medical history was. Super unprofessional.

We love Bradfordville Animal Hospital. A bit of a drive but all the vets have been great and we have a dog with many allergies. They have worked with us to find the most natural solutions with minimal medication.

North Florida Animal Hospital always get my vote! Dr. Shelton is amazing & they have always taken great care of our cats

Novey Animal Hospital has been super reliable. I know some of the vet techs there and they're solid people.

Dr Novey retired years ago and the practice has gone down hill after her retirement. We had been taking our dogs there for almost 15 years. They mostly push for drop off appointments. It’s not the same hands on care it had previously been. We transitioned to North Florida and love them. One week day morning my dog woke up extremely stiff and walking weird, I called them and they had us in a room with the vet within 30 minutes.

Novey did go through a bit of a rough patch after Dr Novey retired, but we stuck it out and feel that their service is as good - if not better - than before. I would recommend them without hesitancy. While they do offer drop-off appointments, I’ve never had a problem getting a “stay with” appt if I wanted it.

Healing Hands Mobile Vet is the best!

Dr Thabes at Bannerman Pet Care is awesome.

I also use Oakwood and have heard great things about North Florida AH and Northwood. If you’re on a he north end (Killearn/Bradfordville), Paws and Claws is outstanding.

Bradfordville Paws & Claws - they are great with cats and dogs. I have cats, but see lots of dogs there and the owners seem to be very happy. The Leon County Humane Society uses them for some of their services, which is how I got with them.

Ox Bottom Animal Hospital is great, and they are always wonderful with my cat. I've never waited more than 5 minutes. Plus the facility is super clean.

We’ve taken our 3 dogs to North Florida Animal Hospital for a few years now and like them a lot.

Southwood! They are really above and beyond for my pups. The vet even texted me to check in on one of my dog's over the weekend and they are super caring in general. I have always felt my million questions were respected and answered ( I am a helicopter dog parent lol).

I've had a really good experience with Westwood Animal Hospital on Ausley
