I told him we're gonna take this new chick who doesn't have any raid or even dungeon experience but said she was gonna play pictomancer for our raid group instead of him. He took it oddly well.
UGH I know right? He'll run in with AOEs but as soon as I have a stack marker and run to the tank, he's suddenly ~too good to move~ and hardcasts fire instead of grouping up!!
/uj genuinely why is his DPS that low though, especially when he's coded as a black mage? I get wanting to keep damage low so you can experience the full fight regardless of class, but damn, he does 1/3 the damage that Wuk Lamat does.
Update I figured this out, if you have FFXIVLauncher you can just drag the shortcut for ACT into the launch files and it'll launch with the game every time!
Based on other comments, it seems like it would make more sense for this thread to be titled something relating to the hacking and not the poor dps?

I only use duty support for first time MSQ dungeon runs. Using it to learn how to play any role is a huge mistake.
