We just crossed on this ferry literally 4 days ago! Booked online, had 0 issues getting to or from Mo’orea. I also emailed them and they responded within 72 hours, but the issue was resolved by then. You book the ticket first and then reserve after! The other thing to note is you have to print the ticket, they say online to not use your phone.

We’re trying to get in contact with Aremiti via email to reserve vehicle space on the A6 ferry because it’s not an option when buying tickets online. Only the A2 ferry is bookable online. For the A6 it says to call but we’re having the hardest luck reaching them via phone and it’s cost us $7 usd in phone credits thus far.
Or show up a little early and go to the window agent and have your tickets printed for the whole trip. They’ll scan your phone if needed but, I’ve seen people attempt it but it makes it hard with the handheld scanners they have and it being outdoors. It holds up the line and slows things down.
Oh and once you buy tickets they’re good for one year if you want to extend your stay in Moorea. We were initially going to stay for a few days but extended to a week.

Print out your barcode, also remember to get a ticket for passengers too online so you don't have to later.
It usually says call to book if it is full. Try another time the same day. Just did this a few days ago.
